When she arrived home, Blue went to the kitchen and helped her mom in finishing up the dinner . She picked up her phone and saw a call from an unknown number so Blue picked up .
"Hey, hope I'm not interrupting anything? "
The person on the other side of the line spoke up.
Blue excused herself and went to the veranda " Hi, Who's this I don't think I'm familiar with you and yes I have somethings am busy with"
The line was silente for a while" I'm Railan the guy from before and it's fine talk to you later then. I will be waiting." Railan said before ending the call.
After a while Blue called back and they talked a little bit before bedtime and she slept immediately.
Blue didn't mind that much about the conversation they just had. Thinking its just a one time thing so no need to keep in mind and move on.
At school Blue's day would go as usual but at home she would get missed calls that she was lazy to get back to even after knowing who it was as usual. Medina tried getting Blue to answer it reminding her atleast twice at school before home time.

It was a few weeks before Blue's birthday, and Medina, Lola and some old friends decided to throw a little party for her.
Buying the stuff had taken most of the time but everything was almost ready.
The countdown had begun and they couldn't wait to show off their decoration skills.
Blue too busy to mind them just took her time doing her stuff and letting them handle it as usual that wasn't her thing . Knowing the best option is not getting in their way at all.
When the day arrived, it was a Saturday, and each person had a specific job to do.
"Get everything ready on your side. Check the cake too, make sure to watch over it "
Voices can be heard from all over the house. Things moved from one place to another in the name of perfection.
Her parents had agreed to Blue inviting her friends over for the party only if their mom would stay and make sure they didn't create a mess.
The party started with everyone wishing her a happy birthday and handing over the gifts they brought along. Her friends passing the drinks around to the guests. They weren't allowed any booz and had to obey to it or the party would be cancled as it was an order from her parents.
It was time for a little performance and people sitting around playing games. Others got up and danced to the music till it was Blue's turn to give a dance.
She was nervous and didn't know where to start. Her mother being there just added to everything thou knowing she was too busy to pay attention.
Till she saw a hand put out to her.
"May I have this dance if you don't mind ?"
Railan was standing in front of her in a white t-shirt that framed his body and Jeans. He gave her a smile." Are you up for it?"
Blue hesitated for a minute before putting her hand in Railan's, feeling the subtle tightening of his grip.
He guided her to the stage. He placed a hand on her waist" Are you nervous?"
She circled her hand around Railan's neck, her heart thundering in her chest. She averted her gaze" I'm not used to all this attention. I'm ....abit anxious. "
They started swaying, his eyes on her.
The room faded leaving only them and the gentle music.
He swallowed" How have you been?"
"I have been fine. Living the life of a student" Blue smiled.
Railan pulled her closer their faces inches apart." Remember, it's just you and me"
Blue barely had time to process before she was twirled. Her breath hitched when he caught her in his arms.
"What the hell?"
"Trust me", Railan whispered, pulling her close.
The music quickened and the duo moved in perfect sync. Each step, twirl and deep as they danced in rhythm with the music. Her friends watched them in awe.
"You look breathtaking ", Railan whispered, twirling her. He swiftly caught her.
Blue's cheeks heated up " Thank you"
He dipped her slowly and raised her again
" No need. I'm just stating the truth"
Blue was twirled one more time and was caught in Railan's arms as the music ended.
A round of applause from her friends brought her back from her daze.
He steered her back to the seat.
" Thanks for the dance" as he went back to his seat.

It went on till everyone had to go home except for Medina, Elise and Asha, who had to help them clear up the stuff and make sure nothing got stained. With no other choice, they had to sleep over. Luckily, the next day was free.
Going back to the boring class after class routine was another thing to deal with.
Railan would visit the school at times, and they'd end up talking for a while before he left. And although they weren't official (yet), they acted like the power couple.
He tugged Blue's wrist and walked out.
People stared.
Students whispered.
But Railan's grip on Blue tightened.
And this time she didn't mind at all. Blue could care a little less about them at the moment.
It always ended the same way every afternoon.
Blue would stay with her friends , laughing and jazzing as much as they could.
"Asha, Elise! Wait for me"
They'd stand by the gate, arms crossed , waiting for her Blue to join them.
" You guys always leave so early! Do you want to go home that much?" She said catching her breath after reaching them.
They'd go home together before going their different ways.
