Victoria did not pay much attention to whether Rozer had seen the truth fairy or not, because she felt it might just have been an illusion of her own mind. After that, she sat down at her laptop and began watching the local live news channels. Everywhere, throughout the entire city, there was only one topic of discussion—that a miraculous girl had appeared from somewhere and, using her powers, had saved the lives of many people.
"Victoria, you've become famous overnight," the truth fairy said while watching the news, speaking to Victoria.
"Yes, Truth, but I don't understand whether I'm happy about this victory or not," Victoria replied, resting her face on her knees. "A part of my heart is still sad because I couldn't protect the artefact—the one I was supposed to keep away from those demons."
"I understand, Victoria, but this isn't your fault. The first time, no one can work with complete perfection, and we all learn from our mistakes," the truth fairy said in response. "By the way, I'm also wondering whether your friend Rozer actually saw me, or whether you and I both had the same illusion at the same time."
"Yes, you're right. For a moment, even I got scared," Victoria said with a laugh. "I thought maybe you had forgotten to make yourself invisible, and that's why Rozer saw you. He's practically a walking news channel, and if he had found out, by tomorrow he would've spread the news all over the college that I have a real fairy with me."
Just then, Olivia's voice came from downstairs, calling Victoria. Hearing her mother's voice, Victoria went down and saw that her father, Allen, had returned home after being discharged from the hospital, and the medical team was installing various medical equipment in his bedroom.
"Doctor, is my dad fine now, or is there something to worry about?" Victoria asked after seeing so much equipment being installed.
"Yes, Victoria, please don't worry. Your father is out of danger now, and there's nothing to be afraid of," the doctor replied. "We wanted to keep him under observation for a few days, but your father insisted on staying at home. So, as a precaution, we've installed these medical equipments here."
After that, the doctor explained the functioning of the medical equipment to Victoria and Olivia and then left. Victoria sat in the room with her mother, Olivia, and checked on her father.
"Dad, how are you feeling now?" Victoria asked, sitting on a chair beside him.
"I'm feeling much better than before," Allen said. "But there's still one thing I can't understand—what suddenly happened to Winston that made him behave like that and go mad, attacking everyone. At that time, his strength wasn't like that of a human. I've known Winston ever since he first joined our company as an intern, and since then, he never once gave me a reason to complain. But today, I don't know what happened that he started acting like a madman. He took the lives of twenty-three people there and injured countless others," Allen said, lost in deep thought, as he spoke to Victoria.
"Dad, please rest now and don't think too much about it," Victoria said gently, trying to calm him. "The more you think, the worse your health will become."
"Yes, Victoria is absolutely right," her mother Olivia added, supporting her. "You should stay quiet and get some rest. We've talked enough for today."
"But Olivia, to be honest with you," Allen said slowly, "for a moment today, it felt as if death was standing right in front of me. At that time, all I could do was hope to see my family one last time. But thanks to that girl who came and saved my life—and everyone else's as well. For all of us, she was nothing less than an angel," Allen said, praising the masked girl.
Hearing her father praise her in this way made Victoria feel extremely proud, because she had always wanted to do something that would make her family proud of her. Even though her family still did not know Victoria's real identity, she was still deeply happy.
"Yes, I also saw about that masked girl on the news," Olivia said as she stood up from the bed. "But she truly was an angel, because only angels can fly in the sky in this world. And whenever evil begins to overpower goodness, it is the angels who step forward to balance the difference between good and evil."
After that, Olivia and Victoria stepped out of Allen's room and became busy with their daily routines.
Meanwhile, in Dark Heaven, Aethna sat upon her throne, planning how to search for the pieces of that armor in the time to come. Her commander, Vargos, was seated there with her when suddenly UMBRAXOS arrived and bowed low, paying his respects to the dark goddess.
"Great Killwish, why have you summoned me? I, Umbraxos, stand at your service," Umbraxos asked, kneeling down and bowing his head before the dark goddess.
Seeing Umbraxos there, a terrifying smile spread across the dark goddess's face. She stepped down from her throne and said, "Rise, my commander! You must accomplish a very great task for your queen. But this task will not be easy, because one of the demons from my army—who had gone to Earth on my command to retrieve a piece of an ancient armor—was killed by a girl who possessed angelic powers," the dark goddess said, standing before Umbraxos.
"Do not worry, my queen!" Umbraxos replied loudly. "Your commander will destroy that girl and her angelic powers alike, find the piece of the ancient armor, and place it at your feet." Saying this, Umbraxos began to laugh thunderously.
Hearing the demon's words, the dark goddess and her commander Vargos also burst into a terrifying roar of laughter, and along with them, the four wolves beside the dark goddess began howling in unison. The very next moment, Umbraxos vanished from there.
"Great Killwish, I seek your forgiveness," Vargos said as he stepped closer to the dark goddess. "But if you permit me, may I say something?"
"Yes, my supreme commander," the dark goddess replied with a smile. "Tell me what you wish to say."
"Dark Goddess, I am not questioning your decision," Vargos said, lowering his head, "but don't you think you have sent an overpowered demon to Earth to fight a girl with such insignificant angelic power? Umbraxos is one of the most powerful demons, and once he goes to Earth, he will not be able to exist without causing destruction. Because of this, it is possible that the angels may also learn about our upcoming plans."
"Your statement is absolutely true, Vargos," the Dark Goddess replied. "But I also want Umbraxos to go to Earth and spread destruction, taking human lives. When that happens, that angelic girl will come there to save the people, and Umbraxos will give her such a horrific death right in front of everyone that people will lose their faith in God. They will become more loyal to demons than to angels, and with this, the power of evil will grow even stronger. Then I will make them all my slaves and rule this entire planet," the Dark Goddess Aethna said, bursting into loud laughter.
Meanwhile, Victoria was sitting in her room, trying to create her superheroine costume. In this effort, she had ruined hundreds of pages of her drawing book, but she still had not reached any conclusion.
"Truth, what are you doing? Please come here and help me," Victoria said in frustration. "I can't understand how to design a superheroine dress for myself, and I haven't even thought of my name yet."
"I understand, Victoria, that right now you are both worried and excited," the truth fairy said thoughtfully. "But people are already calling you an angel, so you should think of a name and a costume that prove your connection to your angelic powers. This will not only increase people's trust in you, but it will also make them start believing in goodness."
"Oh, you're absolutely right," Victoria said, pressing her pen against her lips as she thought. "I've seen in movies that those with demonic powers usually wear black clothes, and superheroes either wear their underwear over their trousers or make suits of metal. But people still like them that way. So if my power is angelic, then I also need an angelic name and costume."
After that, Victoria became busy creating new costume designs, relying on her imagination and creativity.
Elsewhere, in the city's thieves' market, a man wrapped in black clothes was wandering from place to place. Suddenly, he collided with another man, causing the small box he was holding to fall to the ground and open.
"Are you blind? Can't you watch where you're going?" the man who had collided with him shouted threateningly.
But the man in black was in a great hurry, as if he had to meet someone somewhere. Apologizing quickly, he picked up the fallen object, placed it back into the box, and began to close it. That object was the same artefact that had been stolen from Victoria's father's office—the very artefact for which Vortex had possessed Winston's body and taken many lives.
The man wrapped in black hastily shut the box and disappeared into a dark, narrow alley. After walking a little distance, he lifted the shutter of a closed shop, went inside, and then pulled it shut behind him once again.
"Welldone! my homie, it looks like you've stolen something valuable today?" said a bald man sitting inside the shop as he looked at the man wrapped in black.
The man in black removed the cloth from his body and, walking toward the bald man, said, "Boss, if we sell what I stole today to the right buyer on the dark web, we'll become billionaires overnight."
"What exactly have you stolen, Cheng? Let me see it too," the boss said to the thief who had brought the piece of the ancient armor after stealing it from Allen's office.
At the boss's request, Cheng handed over the box that contained the ancient artefact. First, the boss examined the box carefully, then looked at it from all sides and said to Cheng, "You idiot, what is written on this?"
"Boss, I don't know any of that," Cheng replied, making a strange face. "But when I went into that office pretending to be a cleaner, the owner of that place was telling his employee that this artefact is worth billions and that it isn't something from today—it's millions of years old. What's written on it, even I don't know, because the people in that office also couldn't understand the language written on the box."
"Boss, it seems to us that Cheng bought this box from some junk dealer and is now trying to impress you by making up a fake story," the boss's other men said.
Just then, the television playing there once again began broadcasting news about the incident that had occurred at Olivia Tower, reporting that Winston had killed his own office colleagues to steal an artefact, and that the artefact was millions of years old and priceless.
"You worthless idiots!" the boss shouted, watching the news on TV and then looking proudly at Cheng. "You don't do any real work yourselves—you sit around all day living off free stuff, bringing in scrap from petty thefts. And my most capable boy, Cheng, who works so hard, has brought such a valuable thing for his boss. That's why you're burning with jealousy and speaking nonsense about him."
"But boss, how will we find a buyer for this?" Cheng asked, sitting down on a chair nearby. "This is priceless, and we've never sold something this big in the market before."
"Don't worry about that, my boy," the boss said, laughing. "I know a man who deals in priceless items like this on the dark web. His name is Jack. He's out of the city today, but he'll be back tomorrow. Then we'll go to him and strike a deal for this ancient object."
Saying this, the boss began to laugh, and all of them started drinking together in celebration.
Meanwhile, at Victoria's house, Victoria had finally completed her dress design.
"Hurray!! Truth, I've finally designed my costume, and I've also decided what my superheroine name will be!" Victoria said excitedly, calling out to the truth fairy.
Hearing this, the truth fairy became very happy as well. She came closer to Victoria and said, "So what are you waiting for now, Victoria? Use your angelic powers to gather the magic around you, create that costume, and show it to me. I can't wait any longer!" the truth fairy said excitedly.
Hearing the truth fairy's words, Victoria closed her eyes and began to concentrate. She gathered the magic and energy around her into a single point. Suddenly, a powerful white light burst through the room, so intense that even the truth fairy could not keep her eyes open.
In the very next moment, Victoria stood before the truth fairy in a completely new avatar. Victoria was no longer a weak, bookish girl—she had become Crimson.
Victoria's long white hair flowed out from beneath a pure white hood, giving her personality a divine touch. Her face was covered by a metallic black and red mask, revealing only her sharp, serious eyes—eyes powerful enough to terrify any enemy. From head to toe, her appearance was that of a warrior who was not only beautiful but far more dangerous.
The design of Victoria's dress-cum-armor was complex and utterly badass. She wore heavy-duty fantasy armor in shades of bloody red and dark black, marked with golden borders and bars at various places. This combination of colors made her look like a warrior who did not fear spilling blood on the battlefield, yet still carried a royal elegance. The plates on her shoulders and chest made her as strong as a tank and as cool as a high-end superhero, allowing her to connect easily with people.
The most eye-catching feature was the pair of White Flame swords held in both her hands. These swords were not burning with ordinary fire, but with heaven's white energy and lightning, suggesting that they possessed the power to slice through even the greatest mountains in a single moment. Behind her, a large red magical chakra glowed upon her cloak, bearing witness to her rage and her ultimate ability. Her entire avatar told a story, as if Victoria, through her very presence, was declaring to the agents of darkness that the time for their destruction had finally arrived.
"Oh my God! Victoria, you look stunning," the truth fairy said, circling around her and admiring the costume. "Your outfit is superb. I've seen many goddesses and superheroes, but yours is the most unique and impressive. Because of this mysterious mask, no one will ever know your identity, and you'll be able to help people while remaining hidden in real life. So your name should be something mysterious too, shouldn't it?"
"You're absolutely right, Truth," Victoria replied with a smile. "That's why my superheroine avatar will be called SECRET ADMIRAL."
Meanwhile, Umbraxos had already entered the city. At this moment, he had disguised himself as a beautiful girl and was making his way into Olivia Tower. But neither Umbraxos knew that he would soon face Secret Admiral, nor did Victoria know that her next enemy was no ordinary demon—but a commander from Aethna's elite army.
