The moment the Grand Elder appeared, every Uchiha transformed from hot-blooded warriors into obedient schoolchildren.
Yagami quietly praised his own timing — if this had dragged out any longer, his system mission would've exploded on the spot.

Hiruzen, startled by how old the man looked while bowing deeply, rushed to help him up.
Even with tension between the Hokage administration and the Uchiha clan, formal politeness could never be abandoned.

The Elder straightened with effort.
"When we return, punishment awaits. I will not allow them to cause further chaos in Konoha."
"That would be best," Hiruzen said gently.
Then the Elder marched toward the seven Uchiha — finally noticing the bruises, cuts, and trembling legs on each one.
"You idiots! Bringing shame onto the clan and causing trouble in Konoha!!"
Bang!! Bang!! Bang!!
He swung his cane ruthlessly across their backs.
Not one Uchiha dared dodge.
"Lord Hokage, I'll take my leave."
"Mn… go on."
Yagami headed out without looking back.
He had zero interest in watching an elderly clan head discipline a line of sobbing Uchihas.
Others, however, absolutely did.
The stands buzzed with delighted whispers — seeing the proud Uchiha clan getting smacked was premium entertainment.
"Captain Yagami!"
Yagami turned to find Kakashi hobbling over in a hospital gown.
"You should be in a hospital bed… not watching a fight."
Kakashi didn't respond to the scolding.
Instead, he lowered his head.
"If I hadn't been with you on our last mission…
you wouldn't have suffered so many casualties."
The fight had shown him the truth — his captain was far beyond him.
It was Kakashi who held Yagami back, not the other way around.
Yagami didn't deny it.
He simply nodded.
Truthfully, even before the bracelet and Kagura eyes, he could've handled that ambush alone with pure swordsmanship.
But Kakashi didn't know that.
"Captain… please."
Kakashi suddenly bent forward in a ninety-degree bow.
"Take me as your student!"
"…Huh?"
Yagami blinked.
Where did this come from?
"Yes!" Kakashi insisted, voice firm. "I want to become strong like you!"
Yagami hesitated.
It was flattering… but also annoying.
Taking a disciple meant actual responsibility — training, lectures, supervision…

"For now," Yagami said, placing a hand on the boy's shoulder, "you're injured. Go back to the hospital."
"When you've recovered, come find me."
"Yes, Teacher!"
Kakashi straightened, full of determination.
Yagami waved him off and turned away.
Today had been exhausting...
...but his Prestige bar had never looked better.
He headed toward the village streets, humming calmly…
