The remaining Uchihas were shocked.
He wasn't just fast.
He was comfortable.
"Sentaku! Kurosawa!" Eikō barked. "Break off and support with shuriken from a distance! We can't let him drag this out!"

The two chūnin leapt back immediately, flipping into the air—

Yagami suddenly pivoted sharply.
His blade flashed.
A faint arc of compressed wind sliced upward toward one of the airborne Uchihas.

"—!!"
Unable to dodge in midair, Kurosawa stared in horror as the slash hit him cleanly across the torso.
"Kurosawa!!"
His partner's shout rang out.
But when Kurosawa landed, he blinked in confusion.
Pain… didn't come.
He touched the line running from his shoulder to his abdomen — a shallow cut, barely half a centimeter deep.
He was stunned.
He hadn't even realized Yagami held back enough to avoid killing him.
[Uchiha Kurosawa, out!]
Kurosawa looked up sharply.
"What!? Lord Third! I didn't fall! I can still fight—!"
Hiruzen didn't even glance at him.
"If Yagami hadn't held back, you would have been decapitated.
You are out."
The words hit harder than the slash.
Even while surrounded, Yagami had enough control to wound without killing and enough precision to eliminate an Uchiha in a single exchange.
Kurosawa clenched his fists, teeth grinding in frustration before stepping out of bounds.
"Quit standing there and HELP!!"
Yuuto roared.
They expected the fight to be overwhelming — not for them.
But now, with two men gone, even maintaining pressure was becoming difficult.
Genno snapped out of his daze, face flushing in embarrassment.
He'd let the shock distract him.
Swish!
He immediately hurled a kunai straight at the back of Yagami's head—

Kagura's Eyes pulsed.
Yagami tilted his head just enough for the kunai to graze past his cheek.
A hair slower, and he'd have been hit in the skull.
"What do you think you're doing!?"
Hiruzen's voice cut the air like a whip.
His expression turned stern, eyes narrowing at Genno.
"The rules clearly forbid attacking vital areas.
Do you intend to ignore them entirely!?"
Genno froze, face paling.
In truth, he had momentarily forgotten.
The fight was so chaotic, instinct took over.
But Yagami didn't have the luxury of laughing it off.
Close Call
He's dangerous.
Yagami's pulse jumped.
If he hadn't reduced his weight and boosted his speed with the Squid Bracelet, the kunai would've smashed into his skull.
Kagura's Eyes were powerful but they weren't true bullet time.
He couldn't slow the world down.
He could only sense incoming movements and react if his body could keep up.
I need to focus everything on perception…
He sharpened Kagura's field instantly, mapping every chakra signature around him with perfect clarity.
Sentaku's chakra — crisp, jagged, hostile — lit up behind him like a flare.
Without Kagura's Eyes, he would never have noticed the attack outside his line of sight.
