We sat down in the floor side by side nearby the window (which was a mistake that I realized later) with the milkshakes and Kiefer started talking,
K: "So, what were you doing in the library?"
J: "I wanted to complete the assignment that professor gave and I kind wanted to do it in the library but I did not know this how it will and I SWEAR once we get out I am not coming back here again."
he laughed and said, "Then you will miss being in the library, just call me when you are going to the library and even if get stuck we will be stuck together " he finished that sentence by looking in my eyes . It made me fluster a little
J: "You sound like you want get stuck here"
k: "Yes but only if its with you " he said in a soft voice looking in my eyes
If wasn't sitting I am sure my knees would have went weak by the way he said it
J: "Idiot" I said smacking his hands a little with a laugh trying to cover my blush but he noticed
That is when I heard a huge thunder and I got scared and almost jumped on him clutching his shirt and I started shaking because of the noise and he realized I was scared
k:"Jay, it okay I am here, nothing is going to happen"
J:" No, I am terrified of the thunder" I said snuggling more into him.
K:"Jay, look at me" he said in a gentle manner
and I looked at him in eyes still clutching his shirt and tears in my eyes, He slowly put his hands on my ears and closed them and also wiped my tears, For a moment I forgot everything around and I was only looking into his eyes but I jerked and snuggled into him again when I heard the thunder again and after that one
he said, "Jay, lets move to the far away from the window "
I just nodded at him and we both got up but he still did not take his hands away from my ears, we went and settled down near the last row of the book shelves which was far away from the noise and it was only heard slightly and it was much better.
K:"Jay, one minute I will be back "he said and was about to get up
that is when I pulled him back while nodding a no and said, "Don't leave"
K:"I will be back, I just want to bring you my headphones "
J:" No, Don't leave, please stay" and he settled down back and asked me
K:"Jay, what is favourite song?"
J:"ahn, why?"
K:"Just say"
J:"ikaw ang miss universe ng buhay ko"
and just like that he started singing my favourite song and it made me calm down and relax a little, he was singing with a smile in his face, and it was so nice to see and hear, I learnt that he sings beautiful and I don't know when I dozed off listening to his music.
Kiefer' s POV
I wanted to be with her after class, thank god I did not have practise, what would have happened if she got stuck here alone, I couldn't imagine that terror, I silently thank god for sending me here.
When she jumped onto to me suddenly because of the thunder I froze by her sudden moments and composed myself and helped her calm down , honestly it made a little sad seeing her like this and then when she snuggled into me I did not want to let her go.
Then we moved to corner place and I started singing her favourite song by looking into her eyes to distract her from the thunder but honestly I got distracted looking into her, she was pretty and just like that she dozed off in chest and I did not want to move because she would wake from her sleep and my arm was around her so she was warm and comfortable and it felt like home, I smiled thinking I have found my home in a person, which many people struggle to find and I am not going to loose it, I also made promise to myself that I will never raise my voice at her, even if fight in the future because I remember how she opened up about her parents constant fighting that had affected her so much, So I will make sure she is surrounded by a happy and healthy environment here after
and that is when again I started admiring her and I noticed her hair fell on her face and I slowly tucked it away, that is when she stirred in her sleep but she did not wake up, she just snuggled into me more , I was a little hesitant but I couldn't control myself so I gave a kiss on her forehead and muttered with a smile. " Jay, I have fallen for you and I think there is no going back "
This night might seem like tragedy because we are stuck in here but honestly I wouldn't trade this for anything else and I think I am going to confess my feelings to Jay very soon and started making a plan on how to confess and without realizing I dozed off with her.
