Nedaric seemed unable to believe Lilith's words and asked in confusion, "Sister Lilith, did you… did you just tell him to get out?"
As he spoke, he pointed at Negut.
Sitting on the chair, Negut felt like a spectator watching a movie who suddenly got shot by a stray bullet. His expression was as ugly as if he had just swallowed a fly.
Damn it! If I leave, how am I supposed to watch this drama?
Lilith frowned and said, "I was telling you, Nedaric, to get out of here."
Nedaric gaped, his face full of disbelief as he shouted, "Sister Lilith, you are kicking me out for the sake of this cripple? Do you know that in the past, you and my big brother…"
"Shut up!" Lilith snapped, cutting Nedaric off, her eyes filled with worry as she glanced at Negut.
Negut was still pretending not to hear anything, the VR headset on his face, lips pressed into a line, while he cursed inwardly, Say it, hurry up! What were they like in the past? What did they do? Damn it! You are going to make me die of curiosity!
Lilith let out a quiet sigh of relief and said with a frown, "Nedaric, I have already said this. Whatever was between me and Aldric ended a long time ago. You should go. From now on, my man is Negut. You do not need to come here and bother me anymore."
Nedaric ground his teeth, tears streaming down his face like twin streams. His eyes were bloodshot, and his expression could have been the outline of a ten-thousand-word essay titled: "Disappointment, Rage, and Madness".
Seeing him, Negut could not help but curse in his heart, Green tea! I have seen green tea bitches before, but this is the first time I have seen a green tea man. Truly disgusting.
"Green tea" was a term used to describe the type of person who pretended to be innocent, pure, kind and pitiful, but in reality was calculating, manipulative, and exploited others' emotions in order to destroy other couples' relationships.
Normally, that term was used for women, but this was the first time Negut felt it suited Nedaric perfectly as well.
However… a man that cried easily and acted this fragile made him feel a bit nauseated.
"Sister Lilith, you disappoint me, and you disappoint my big brother as well." Nedaric shot Negut, who was peeking out from under the VR headset to observe the situation, a look full of hatred, then turned and ran out.
Negut: "…"
Oi! That is it?
Negut cursed inwardly.
I did not even get to hear anything yet. I still do not understand a damn thing, and you already ran away.
And you too, Lilith. Should you not be throwing another card with one million Energy Points in my face and telling me to get lost so you can go search for Nedaric's big brother and rekindle your old love?
Damn it! None of this is going according to novel logic.
Seeing the faint anger and disappointment on Negut's face, Lilith seemed to misunderstand something and said softly, "There is nothing between me and his big brother, or with him either."
Negut shrugged and said, "I believe you."
In his heart, he added, If I believe you, I will be a dog. Even with only one eye, I can tell how messy your relationships are.
But… one girl, two men. Wait! She is a Dragon, so her strength must be way above normal anyway.
Feeling a vague sense of disappointment he could not quite sort out, he quickly brushed the thought aside, forcing himself not to dwell on that strange topic.
To Lilith, his "I believe you" felt distant and cold, as if it were just a polite phrase meant to keep her from bothering him further.
She clenched her teeth and immediately strode over to him, frowning as she said, "Do you really believe me?"
Her hand gripped his face, forcing him to look only at her, not allowing him to glance anywhere else. Her other hand clamped down on his wrist and pushed him back onto the sofa.
The position was extremely suggestive. She was on top, holding his face with one hand and pinning his wrist with the other, while he lay beneath her, staring up at her with a completely bewildered expression.
I just said I believed you, what more do you want? Negut wanted to cry inside. Please stop draining me, will you? Are you a blender? I am not a lemon, for heaven's sake…
Seeing Negut's uncomfortable expression only made Lilith even angrier. She thought he did not believe her and immediately said, "If you do not believe me, I can let you check."
"Check?" Negut frowned.
Lilith's lips curled into a greedy, crazed smile. She licked her lips and said, "Of course, to check whether I still have my first time or not."
Negut: "…"
Negut really wanted to agree, but he knew that if he did, he had no idea what would be waiting for him.
First of all, Lilith was a Blood Dragon, her physical strength was so terrifying it made people tremble. If he agreed, he might very well die from overstimulation and become the laughingstock of the entire world.
Secondly, Lilith and Nedaric, as well as Nedaric's older brother, had some kind of unclear relationship. Based on the standard low IQ setups in novels, if he really slept with her, those two bastards definitely would not let him off.
Right now, he was only an Awakened with a rank F – 99 Class, and on top of that, he was still a cripple.
Whether it was facing Lilith or Nedaric, he was nothing more than a tiny ant.
He took a deep breath, forcing down the desire in his heart, and hurriedly said, "No need! I… I already said I trust you, you…"
"Negut! You are being disobedient again!" Lilith said, her face gradually turning cold. The possessiveness in her eyes grew stronger and stronger, becoming utterly frenzied. "You are not behaving, so you have to be punished by me."
"Wait! I… Um…"
Before he could finish, Lilith pressed her lips to his, sealing them, devouring them, kissing him crazily to the point he actually felt some pain.
"Um…mm…Ugh!"
Negut wanted to scream, wanted to push Lilith away, but he was too weak and could not resist.
Although he really liked being kissed by a beauty, she was far too wild, making the kiss feel nothing but violent, along with an overwhelming sense of suffocation.
"Um… um… mm…"
Negut felt as if he could see a blazing light, and within that light there was a gate, surrounded by countless female angels waving at him.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
"Guild Master! That person has arrived and is waiting for you in the reception room." A feminine voice came from outside.
"Ha!" Lilith finally let Negut go. She looked at him, her face still full of hunger and not nearly satisfied.
She glanced toward the door and frowned. "I know!"
"Yes, Guild Master!"
Lilith cupped his face tightly and smiled. "I have some business to take care of, I will be back. You stay obediently in the room, otherwise…"
Negut shuddered, taking a deep breath and trying to steady his breathing before saying, "I… I will wait for you."
Lilith snorted lightly and smiled. "Good. Do not disappoint me."
She leaned down and bit his neck lightly.
"Ugh!" Negut groaned softly.
When Lilith saw the red, strawberry-like mark left where she had bitten him, she gave a satisfied nod and then left.
Negut sat in the room and let out a long sigh, feeling as if his heart was about to collapse.
He could already imagine the scenes in his future. One day, he would probably die of a heart attack.
Sitting quietly in the room, he tried to calm his emotions, but just then, the door opened again.
Nedaric walked into the room and froze for a moment when he saw that Negut was alone.
Negut said calmly, "If you are looking for Lilith, you can come back later, she just went out."
Hearing that, Nedaric gave a cruel smile as he slowly walked further into the room and then closed the door.
Crack!
Negut shivered when he saw Nedaric's movements and smile. He felt that smile was both lecherous and greedy, making him a little scared.
"Oi! I… I do not like men," Negut blurted out. "Even if you are very handsome, and even a bit effeminate like a woman, I really do not like men, I only like women. I am sorry, I cannot accept your feelings."
Nedaric: "…"
