"What's wrong with you two brothers, getting injured on the same day?" Ben Parker asked, helping Peter wipe the wounds on his back.
Peter was about to explain when Silas interjected. "Today, a big green lizard suddenly appeared at our school. I got a little hurt while running away."
"A big lizard?" Ben Parker was confused and looked at Aunt May.
Aunt May, who was helping Silas wipe the wound on his shoulder, asked doubtfully, "What big lizard?"
"I'm not sure, but the news will definitely report it today." Silas didn't hide it because the news wouldn't miss such a big selling point.
"Then I'll have to pay close attention to the news today," Ben Parker said. He had never seen a big lizard in his life.
Aunt May was more concerned. "What about your school?"
"Classes are suspended for a week to let the students calm down, and to fix the classrooms," Silas explained.
The fight with the Lizard had damaged many classrooms, and the repairs alone would take about a week.
It should have taken longer, but since it was a school, they couldn't delay too much. So, some classrooms would probably still be unrepaired when they returned.
"That's good. Otherwise, I would have asked for time off for you two anyway, so you could recuperate," Ben Parker said after applying the medicine to Peter.
Peter tried to move his back. "Hiss~ Ouch~"
"Be careful not to aggravate the wound," Ben Parker rolled his eyes helplessly, reminding him. "Don't put your shirt on yet, the medicine on your back hasn't dried."
"You too, Silas," Aunt May said, pointing to Silas's shoulder.
Silas nodded. Sure enough, playing the hero never ends well. If it weren't for the Justice Points, he absolutely wouldn't do it.
Peter lay on the sofa watching TV. Ben Parker handed him a glass of milk. "What would you like for lunch?"
"Anything is fine, thank you." Peter just wanted to lie on the sofa and rest.
Silas stretched his shoulders. "Aunt May, I'll go up and rest first. Call me for lunch."
"Alright, but be careful not to hurt your wounds," Aunt May said.
Silas slowly walked up the stairs. Hearing the sound, Peter turned and asked, "Silas, aren't you going to watch TV in the living room?"
"No, I'm going back to my room to rest first." Silas declined Peter's suggestion and went back to his room.
In the Room
"The Lizard's strength and agility are in no way inferior to mine and Peter's, especially his defense. He's simply thick-skinned and tough."
Silas took out a small notebook and wrote down his analysis of the Lizard. What he needed to do now was find the Lizard's formula notebook.
"Darn it!" Silas suddenly remembered something. After the Lizard drilled into the sewer, did he go back to his lab?
"Careless. I should have followed him," Silas sighed. Although he wasn't sure he could beat him, he could have guaranteed his own safety by entering the Shadow Realm if necessary.
Silas now wished he could call Peter and go into the sewer to chase after him, but clearly, it was too late.
In the original Spider-Man plot, Peter makes an antidote that helps Professor Connors recover his appearance, but it doesn't completely cure him. Whenever Professor Connors gets angry and loses control, he turns into the Lizard again, and Peter goes to inject the antidote again. The two go back and forth like this.
Silas thought he could imitate Peter. By helping the Lizard recover, he would definitely gain Justice Points.
Then, when Professor Connors turns into the Lizard again, injecting him with the antidote would earn another batch of Justice Points. This was an experience dungeon that could be farmed repeatedly.
"However, the antidote still has to be made by Peter," Silas admitted that he was completely clueless about how to make it.
"By the way, do you guys know?" Silas turned to look under the bed at the pair of eyes belonging to a Shadowkhan soldier.
The Shadowkhan's eyes blinked, seemingly not understanding what Silas was saying.
"Shadowkhan~ Shadowkhan~" A thought sparked in Silas's mind. What if he ordered the Shadowkhan to study?
Silas lay in his chair and summoned a Shadow Ninja. "Do you understand the joy of learning?"
"So that masked vigilante just slipped away right in front of me?" Tony had already used Jarvis to search all the nearby surveillance cameras, but there was no trace of the masked vigilante.
"Yes, sir," Jarvis confirmed.
Tony slid his wheeled chair to the console and clicked on a file. "Did you figure out who this Pajama Boy is?"
"He's been identified. Spider-Man's real name is Peter Parker, currently living in Queens and a student at Midtown School of Science and Technology..." Jarvis listed off all of Peter Parker's information to Tony.
This included Peter's friends and family: Ben Parker, Aunt May, Ned, Silas, and others.
"Quite the young man with a strong sense of justice," Tony teased. For now, he just found Peter Parker interesting.
Tony swiped Peter's file aside and pulled up the Lizard's picture. "Investigate this for me, and if possible, hand the information over to that kid."
It wasn't that Tony was unwilling to help, but he had his own unsolved problems.
"Yes, sir. It is time for your chlorophyll drink," Jarvis said.
A robotic arm picked up a glass of green liquid and offered it to Tony.
Tony took the glass. "Thanks, though honestly, I really don't like this."
The robotic arm swayed, indicating "you're welcome," and returned to its position.
Sewer
"I got it! With this, my plan can be perfectly executed," the Lizard used his long tongue to lick his upper jaw, holding the formula notebook in his hand.
After escaping the sewer, he immediately returned to his underground lab, where he found that Norman's men were still waiting.
However, for Professor Connors in his current state, dealing with these people was a piece of cake. He finished them off in no time.
"I need to find materials and a device~" The Lizard set his sights on Norman's company, Osborn Industries, which held the materials and device he needed.
The Lizard tucked the notebook into his pocket. It was his original lab coat, which, although torn, was still hanging on him, and the pocket was perfect for holding things.
He planned to create the Lizard serum, along with a release device, and deploy it from the Oscorp tower's rooftop, turning everyone into a creature like him!
He had originally planned to release it from the Stark Tower because it was the tallest and most central building, but Tony's Iron Man armor had scared him off.
Stark's armor was too much of a counter to him. He could take a punch without issue, but if he didn't dodge the laser, he would definitely be roasted.
Since the fight at the school was so difficult, the Lizard couldn't imagine what other tricks Stark might have up his sleeve if he went to Stark's territory.
The Lizard crawled on the ceiling of the underground sewer, heading toward Oscorp.
"This morning, an unexpected situation occurred at Midtown High School. A terrifying and mysterious Lizard-man appeared at the school, causing destruction on campus..." The TV anchor began to broadcast the day's report.
They also showed clips of the Lizard fighting Spider-Man and the man in black in the hallways.
"Oh my God, that's crazy," Ben Parker said in disbelief. Seeing the Lizard made him nervous. He was so relieved that the two boys weren't more seriously injured.
Aunt May watched the television, also feeling fortunate that the injuries were so minor.
This was because the anchor had begun reporting the casualties.
The Lizard's rampage, which began in the student dormitories, resulted in eighteen students injured and two students killed.
Perhaps it was the last trace of humanity from Professor Connors still in the Lizard's mind that kept the casualties so low.
After Peter and Silas arrived, the casualties stopped, but the police captain who showed up later was simply asking for trouble.
