"Cute."
I turned toward the man who had just called me that.
Cute? What exactly was cute about this? I was wearing nothing but shorts and a plain T-shirt. There was absolutely nothing cute about me.
"Thank you," I said with a polite smile to Levi.
Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Kaius stealing a glance at me. Maybe he still remembered how I lost my patience yesterday and yelled at him.
Well, he deserved it. He needed to understand that I didn't like them—any of them.
Kaius suddenly wrapped an arm around Levi's shoulders.
"Hey, stay away from that girl," Kaius whispered seriously, though not quietly enough for me not to hear.
"Why?" Levi giggled. "Do you like her?"
Kaius looked at me. Our eyes met for a brief moment, and I immediately looked away, avoiding his gaze that had been fixed on me for far too long.
"No."
Tsk.
I moved beside Charlotte, and she smiled warmly at me.
"Thank you for inviting me here, Solar," she said cheerfully.
