The warmth from Christopher's body, the smell of his wool coat, the steady beat of his heart, finally shattered Cameron's composure. A shuddering sob escaped him as he cling to his brother.
"They…" he tried, but couldn't find the words.
"I know," Christopher said, his own voice thick. He pulled back, keeping his hands on Cameron's shoulders. "We're leaving. Now. You're coming home."
He took Cameron's hand and started leading him towards the jet. Few steps away from the jet Cameron started feeling dizzy and nauseous. With the adrenaline rush gone, his legs gave up on him.
He began guiding Cameron toward the jet.
"Whoa…easy!" Christopher caught him, fully supporting his weight. "Medic!" he shouted.
A woman came running towards them with a medical kit. She conducted a check under Christopher's directions. "Dehydrated, adrenaline crash, likely minor soft tissue injury and shock."
"Get him on board. Start an IV line for fluids," Christopher ordered, his doctor's mind taking over.
