Morning came in a blink of an eye. The quiet peace of the night was gone, replaced by a heavy sense of what was coming. The smell of coffee and the low, tense voices from the main room woke Cameron up. He looked around the room and realized that it was his room, his bed… maybe Anna moved him back to his room at some point.
He got out of bed and went out of the room. He walked to the kitchen and saw Christopher and Anna at the kitchen island. Christopher was scrolling through a tablet, his brow furrowed. Anna was staring into her coffee like it holds the answers to the universe.

It's trending, it's in the headlines. The Reeds have gone completely silent. They didn't say anything. Their social media is dark."
