Chapter 21 - Chapter 21

After the Mayor shouted as he held the flute filled with dark magic. The man unhesitantly blew into it and under Felix's eyes began to wither away rapidly. After blowing it, he laughed madly until he realized that he was rapidly withering away.

"Whats going on?" The Mayor began to panic.

"Hehehe, Fool."

A voice belonging to neither of them responded with a voice that was neither male nor female. Instead it sounded like it was a mix of both as the flute rose up from the withered hands of the Mayor.

"It's not supposed to work this way? What kind of magic tools attack its holder?"

Felix gave the Mayor before him a look full of pity since he still couldn't understand what was going on with this guy's brain. He decided to use a tool full of dark and malice magic and thought he also didn't need a price to pay? Not to mention it all boiled down to him being jealous of not being very talented in magic.

"Idiot, I shall feed on your soul and the residence of Newt." The flute said.

"Um, no. I can't allow you to do that." Felix interrupted.

"You can not stop me for I shall feed upon yours and everyone's soul here." Lullaby shouted annoyed.

"Still no." Felix replied.

Dark magic flared as Lullaby released its magic and the withering Mayor turned to dust. Which in turn allowed the flute to unleash even more magic as if receiving a boost. Then under the men who followed the Mayor's eyes, the flute rapidly expanded into a towering titan of wood, easily a small mountain tall.

The previous three eyes' skull flute head turned into a large wooden head with wooden spikes seeming to split out like hair. Instead of a stomach, this monster had gaping holes as did in its arms. Upon seeing this, Felix looked up at the demonic creature and guessed the holes were for wind to play its deadly melody.

"Now prepare for my melody of death!" Lullaby shouted.

"Since you are determined to cause havoc, then I must destroy you."

"Fool, I am a demon from the Book of Zeraf. You can not possibly dream of destroying me." Lullaby bragged.

"Then I shall seal you away." Felix shrugged.

After saying this, Felix pressed his hands together and took a deep breath. Once he did so, his magic surge immensely as the ground below him began to crack from the immense might. This strength startled Lullaby who felt a tinge of fear.

However, Felix didn't know Lullaby's thoughts and unleashed his magic. So lifting him up from the ground, wood rapidly grew as a towering buddha appeared before Lullaby. It was so massive, Lullaby had to shift its head back to see the top. While like a fan behind this giant buddha, a thousand wooden hands appeared.

"Wood Magic: True Several Thousand Hands." Felix called while feeling quite drained.

This move cost him quite a bit of magic even for him, about half of his current magic reserve. So letting out a few deep breaths, Felix didn't hesitate and began his attack. Since he felt that the Lullaby won't allow him to seal it easily, he needed to beat it.

Due to the belief that it is super strong as a demon from the Book of Zeraf. Felix decided not to hold back in an attempt to seal it before it could cause havoc. This belief mixed with its bragging of eating souls, he wasn't going to take any chances.

Under Felix's magic, the hands began to move and under Lullaby horrified gaze it saw one giant hand after another nearly two thirds the size of himself smashing towards it. It tried to raise its arm to block but was easily batted away to be smashed by the next hand. One hand after another smashed down heavily on it.

'I think I brag a bit too much.' Lullaby thought as it was smashed through the ground.

After reshaping the land before him, Felix quickly began his next move to begin sealing it. So unleashing his magic once more.

"Wood Sealing Magic: Gate of the Great God!"

Massive red torii fell from the sky, locking the limbs of the badly beaten Lullaby who was questioning its own life choices. It wondered where this monstrous demon came from as it felt its own magic abilities and movements suppressed under these red torii.

"To stop you from causing havoc among the normal civilians, I will now seal you away." Felix said from his Buddha.

'Me cause havoc? It would be better if you went to seal yourself!' Lullaby cried mentally.

If it could rewind time, it would go back and run away from this monster. It was just a little flute for murder curse that was upgraded on a whim by the Black Wizard Zeref.

"Sealing Magic: Seals of Eons!"

Under Lullaby's pitiful and painful cries as it shrunk back into's flute form under Felix's sealing magic. A large rock connected to various points began to form as a large seal began to form. This magic Seals of Eons he recently began developing could be placed among the difficult super sealing magics to learn.

Not only to cast this seal requires quite a bit of magic to cast that even Felix was beginning to feel the strain. The larger the target, the more it costs on top of casting this magic. Hence, it was still in development at the moment.

"There, now you shall rest here and not cause trouble for a few thousand years." Felix said.

As for the chance a mage will come to unseal this demonic being. They will either need to be a team of gifted seal breakers or use ritual magic to break it. Even with ritual magic, it would take fifteen years or so to break this seal with Moon Drip. Unless they use sacrificial rituals, then he was unsure how long this seal would hold.

"Should I add a few more seals to be careful?" Felix asked himself. "It would be bad if it was let free and caused havoc again."

While he began to dismiss his large wooden buddha and true several thousand hands. Felix thought about it and could only scratch his head. He hasn't really learned that much sealing magic. Even this Seal of Eons was only recently thought of by him due to reading the magic Maximum Defense Seal given by Master Makarov recently.

"I guess this seal will have to do." Felix finally decided.

When Felix returned to the ground, he looked at the group of men and the tied up Sawyer family. While he was making his giant buddha, he wrapped this group into a wooden sphere to protect them in case this demonic being unleashed its curse magic.

Now that he had sealed it away, he could now hand this family of cannibals over. He now also needed to try and figure out how to get the stamp of the mission completion. Since the employer who sent the mission had died due to a dark magic tool he used on himself.

"I guess I will have to ask Master Makarov for help." Felix said to himself.

Upon returning to Newt, Felix released the men that came with the Mayor. They didn't really do him much harm. While on the other hand, he went and found a post office and sent off a letter to the council and Master Makarov.

The council needed to come and deal with the Sawyer Ranch, while Master Makarov needed to tell him what to do about his mission. Due to buying express delivery, the letters should get there by morning at the latest.

In the meantime, Felix took Sawyer to the city jail and camp out there so they wouldn't be released. If they were released, it would be a pain to try and track them down.

--

Felix underestimated the express delivery speed and how fast the council could move sometimes. Just a bit after midnight, a group from the council came and began sealing off the Ranch. Just before six, Makarov's reply came asking him to return the guild.

In the letter, he also mentioned that the mission is also considered complete.
