Chapter 25 - making everything right again

A week later

Taejoon paced around his room, his mind consumed by thoughts of Han. Sophia walked in, her expression concerned.

"You sent for me?" she asked, her voice soft.

Taejoon stopped pacing, his eyes locked on hers. "Yes. How's Han doing?"

Sophia's expression turned sympathetic. "He's been discharged from the hospital. He's at home now."

Taejoon's jaw cliked, his emotions warring within him. "And...I'm not going to visit him, am I?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Sophia raised an eyebrow. "You want to see him, don't you?"

Taejoon looked away, his shoulders tense. "I want to, but I'm scared of how he'll see me now."

Sophia's expression softened. "Taejoon, you can't protect someone by pushing them away. You have to face him, no matter how hard it is."

Taejoon sighed, his eyes closing in frustration. "I know. I just...I don't want to hurt him again."

Sophia placed a gentle hand on his arm. "You won't know unless you try. Learn from the past and focus on the future. You have a lot to make up for."

Taejoon's eyes snapped open, a hint of determination in them. "You're right. I have to do this."

Sophia smiled, her eyes encouraging. "You can do it, Taejoon. Go see him, apologize, and start making things right."

Taejoon nodded, a small smile on his face. "Thanks, Sophia. I needed that."

Sophia's expression turned serious. "Just be honest with him, Taejoon. That's all he wants."

Taejoon nodded, his heart racing with anticipation and fear. He knew it wouldn't be easy, but he was ready to face Han and make things right.

After chatting with Sophia, taejoon took a bath, looking good as always then head out

Taejoon arrived at Star Entertainment Company, his heart heavy with apology. He'd asked Mr. Kim to gather his group members, and they all sat in the conference room, their expressions curious.

"Guys, I owe you an explanation," Taejoon said, his voice sincere. "I know I haven't been myself lately, and I'm sorry for that."

He took a deep breath, choosing his words carefully. "I've been dealing with some personal stuff, and I let it affect my work and our group. I know I hurt Han, and I'm deeply sorry for that."

Mr. Kim's expression softened, a small smile on his face. "Taejoon, we're happy to have you back. We've missed you."

Ace spoke up, his voice warm. "Yeah, Tae, we've been worried about you. What happened with Han...it's not like you."

Taejoon looked at his group members, his eyes sincere. "I know. I let my feelings get in the way, and I hurt someone I care about. I'm going to make it right, though."

Adriel nodded, his expression understanding. "We got your back, Tae. Just don't push us away again, okay?"

The others chimed in, their voices reassuring. Taejoon felt a wave of gratitude wash over him.

"Thanks, guys," he said, his voice choked. "I don't deserve it, but thanks."

Mr. Kim stood up, a smile on his face. "Enough of this serious talk. Welcome back, Taejoon. We're glad to have you."

The group members stood up, surrounding Taejoon in a warm hug. "We're glad you're back, Tae," Ace said, his voice muffled.

Taejoon smiled, feeling a sense of belonging. "Thanks, guys. I really need this."

As they pulled back, Lorenzo clapped him on the back. "Now, let's get back to work. We've got a comeback to plan."

The others chuckled, the tension broken. Taejoon grinned, feeling a sense of renewal. He knew he still had a long way to go, but with his group members by his side, he felt like he could face anything.

As they walked out of the conference room, Mr. Kim patted him on the back. "You know, Taejoon, sometimes you have to lose yourself to find yourself."

Taejoon nodded, a small smile on his face. "I think I'm starting to understand that, sir."

The group members exchanged a look, their expressions warm with support.

Later that day taejoon also went to han house

Taejoon stood outside Han's door, his heart heavy with regret. He took a deep breath, knocked on the door, and waited.

The door opened, and Han's eyes met his, a mix of emotions swirling in their depths. Taejoon sighed, gently taking Han's hands in his.

"Han, I'm so sorry," he whispered, his voice trembling. "I was wrong, and I hurt you. Can we go back to how things were? I'll make it up to you, I promise."

Han listened, his expression unreadable. When Taejoon finished, he pulled his hands away, his eyes flashing with pain.

"I accepted your apology, Taejoon," he said, his voice firm. "But I won't go back to how we were. I've tried everything to get your attention, and every time, you treat me like I'm trash."

Taejoon's eyes dropped, shame washing over him. He didn't defend himself, knowing Han was right.

"I'm sorry, Han," he whispered. "I was scared. I was scared of what happened in the past, of hurting you again. I didn't want to hurt you, but I ended up hurting you more."

Han's expression hardened. "You're the one who's hurting me, Taejoon. And I want you to leave."

Taejoon's eyes snapped up, a pang of pain shooting through him. He saw the determination in Han's eyes and knew he meant it.

But he couldn't leave, not yet. He knocked on the door again, his voice pleading. "Han, please. I'll do anything. Just please forgive me."

He leaned his forehead against the door, his body shaking with sobs. On the other side, Han sat on the floor, his back against the door, tears streaming down his face.

Taejoon's tears fell, his heart breaking.only regret and sorrow.

The hallway was silent, the only sound the quiet sobs of two men, one on either side of the door, both hurting, both lost.

The night had fallen, casting a dark shadow over Han's neighborhood. Taejoon remained outside Han's house, his eyes fixed on the door, waiting for Han to emerge. The hours ticked by, and the silence was only broken by the occasional sound of a passing car or a chirping cricket.

Finally, the door creaked open, and Han stepped out, his eyes scanning the surroundings. His gaze landed on Taejoon, and his heart skipped a beat. Taejoon was still there, his eyes red-rimmed from crying, his face etched with desperation.

Han's shock was palpable as Taejoon looked up at him, his eyes, and his heart ached.

Taejoon didn't hesitate. He crawled up to Han, his movements clawk-like, and got on his knees. His face contorted in a mixture of pain and desperation, he buried his face in Han's thighs, his body shaking with sobs.

"Please, Han," Taejoon whispered, his voice muffled. "Please give me one more chance. I'll do anything. I'll never let anything come between us again. Just please, don't leave me."

Han's eyes widened, his breath catching in his throat. He'd never seen Taejoon like this before, so broken and vulnerable. He felt a pang of guilt, knowing he was the cause of Taejoon's pain.

"Get up, Taejoon," Han whispered, his voice trembling. "You shouldn't be doing this."

But Taejoon wouldn't budge. He held onto Han's legs, his grip like a vice. "I'll do anything, Han. Just please, forgive me."

Han's heart was melting, his resolve crumbling. He knew Taejoon loved him, and he couldn't bear to see him like this.

"Sophia," Han whispered, trying to make sense of it all. "Your girlfriend..."

Taejoon's head shook, his face still buried in Han's thighs. "She's not my girlfriend, Han. She's our cousin, from the vampire realm. I lied, okay? I was scared."

Han's eyes widened, his mind reeling. He felt Taejoon's grip on his legs, the warmth of his tears seeping through his pants.

He knew he was in trouble. He knew he couldn't resist Taejoon, not when he was like this.
