Hours passed, and Han's group members Jace and Kai were summoned to the company by Mrs. Johnson, leaving Adriel to watch over Han. Han eventually fell asleep on the floor, still crying and mumbling Taejoon's name, pleading with him not to leave.
Adriel's heart ached as he watched Han, feeling helpless. He gently picked Han up and carried him upstairs to his room, trying to make him comfortable.
The next morning, Adriel waited patiently for Han to come downstairs for breakfast, but he didn't appear. Concerned, Adriel went upstairs to check on him.
What he saw made his blood run cold. Han was lying on the floor, unconscious, his wrist cut and bleeding. Adriel's scream echoed through the house as he rushed to Han's side.
He immediately called for an ambulance, and they rushed Han to their private hospital. Adriel informed Mrs Johnson, Jace, and Kai, and the news spread like wildfire. The media swarmed the hospital, trying to get a glimpse of Han, but the securities were on high alert, keeping them at bay.
Taejoon saw the news and his world came crashing down. He rushed to the hospital, his group members by his side. As they entered Han's room, Adriel's eyes blazed with anger, and he lunged at Taejoon.
"You happy now? You've hurt him over and over again, is this what you wanted?" Adriel's voice shook with rage as he sobbed, his tears falling down his cheeks
The others held Adriel back, trying to calm him down. Taejoon's eyes were fixed on Han, his face pale, machines beeping around him. He felt a wave of self-loathing wash over him, and without a word, he turned and walked away.
"Good riddance," Adriel voice dripping with venom. "Leave, that's what you're good at anyway."
Taejoon's back stiffened, but he didn't turn around. He disappeared into the crowd, leaving behind a trail of pain and heartache. 😔
The hospital room fell silent, the only sound Han's steady heartbeat on the machines. Adriel held Han's hand, his eyes red-rimmed from crying.
"Hang in there, Han," he whispered, his voice cracking. "We'll get through this, together."
In the vampire realm, Taejoon's scream echoed through the throne room, a primal cry of anguish and pain. He fell to his knees, his body shaking with sobs as he buried his face in his hands.
"Why did I do this? Why did I hurt him?" he whispered, his voice barely audible over his tears. "I'm a monster. I'm not fit to be loved."
His eyes were red-rimmed, his face twisted in a mixture of grief and self-loathing. He felt like he was drowning in his own guilt, unable to escape the pain he'd caused.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Han slowly regained consciousness, his eyes fluttering open to see his group members and the alpha boys surrounding him. Jace, Kai, and Adriel rushed to his side, their faces etched with concern.
"Han, oh Han, you're okay!" Adriel exclaimed, his voice shaking as he hugged Han tightly.
The others chimed in, asking how he was feeling, their voices overlapping in a chorus of relief. Han smiled weakly, trying to reassure them.
"I'm okay, guys. Really, I'm fine," he whispered, his voice hoarse.
Adriel pulled back, his eyes still red from crying. "Don't scare us like that again, okay?" he said, his voice cracking.
Han sighed, apologizing for worrying them. He looked around the room, his eyes searching for someone. Harrison noticed and asked if he was really okay.
Han's expression faltered, and he asked, "What about Taejoon? Did he...did he come?"
The room fell silent, the only sound the beeping of machines. Han's eyes dropped, his heart sinking. He knew the answer.
Ace placed a gentle hand on his shoulder. "Han, maybe it's for the best. You need to focus on yourself right now."
Han nodded, forcing a weak smile. "Yeah, I know. I'm just...I thought..."
He trailed off, not wanting to finish the sentence. The others nodded in understanding, their expressions sympathetic.
Adriel squeezed his hand. "We'll be here for you, Han. Always." 😔
