Chapter 29 - moment

Nighttime vibes, and Han's aunt is still crashing the party.

Taejoon: Aunt May gone yet?

Han: Nope. She said she'll stay for a few days.

Taejoon: Poor baby Han.

Han: What's with the sudden sympathy?

Taejoon: Just thinking about all the trouble you'll get into with me while she's around.

Han: You're the trouble.

Han: What are you doing btw?

Taejoon sent a photo.

Han's eyes widened as he took in the sight: Taejoon doing push-ups, sweating, earpods in, and a towel around his neck. Han's face turned bright red.

Han: WHY ARE YOU SENDING ME THIS?!

Taejoon: Thought you'd like the view.

Han: I'm gonna kill you.

Taejoon: Can't wait for Aunt May to leave then.

Han's face is still burning as he type shut up taejoon

Taejoon switched to video call, and Han accepted, his eyes widening as he saw Taejoon in the bath, water droplets glancing off his skin. "Taejoon, what are you doing calling me while bathing?!" Han covered his eyes, laughing.

Taejoon chuckled, clearly amused. "Don't worry, Han. I'm not trying to do anything that'll make you uncomfortable."

Han sighed in relief, pulling down his hands to peek at the screen. Taejoon was grinning, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

Han's gaze drifted to Taejoon's abs, and he couldn't help but praise them. "Your abs are so defined..."

Taejoon laughed, teasingly. "Yeah, it's hard work lifting heavy irons all day. You can't compete with this physique, Han."

Han pouted, defending himself. "That's not true! My abs are fine."

Taejoon chuckled, clearly enjoying Han's reaction. "Oh, really? Then show me."

Han's face turned red, and he shook his head. "No way."

Taejoon's laughter filled the phone, and he splashed some water on his face. "Alright, alright. I believe you, Han."

Han rolled his eyes, laughing. "You're impossible."

Taejoon grinned, his eyes cr crling at the corners. "That's why you love me, right?"

Han's heart skipped a beat, but he played it cool. "Maybe."

Taejoon chuckled, knowing he had gotten under Han's skin.

Taejoon kept teasing Han, his voice low and playful. "So, Han, how's Aunt May treating you? Still giving you the 'you're-my-nephew-and-I-don't-approve' vibes?"

Han sighed, laughing. "You know, she's just worried about me. And you're not helping with your... antics."

Taejoon chuckled, clearly enjoying himself. "Antics? I'm just being myself, Han. You're the one who's always getting flustered."

Han shook his head, smiling. "You're impossible."

Taejoon grinned, his eyes sparkling. "That's why you love me, remember?"

Han's heart skipped a beat, but he tried to play it cool. "Maybe I just tolerate you because you're useful for... certain things."

Taejoon's laughter was low and husky. "Oh, really? Like what?"

Han's face turned red, and he quickly changed the subject. "Hey, what are you doing tomorrow?"

Taejoon's grin never faltered. "I have a few ideas. Want to come over and find out?"

Han's heart skipped a beat, and he knew he was in trouble. "Uh, I'll think about it."

Okay I'll finish bathing, and I'll see you tomorrow.. Taejoon said

Han nods

Taejoon's laughter filled the phone, and he ended the call, leaving Han with a goofy grin on his face.

Day after

Han walked into the vampire realm, his eyes scanning the room for Taejoon. He finally spotted him, sitting in a meeting with the elders, looking every bit the prince he was. Han felt a twinge of annoyance as Taejoon didn't even acknowledge his presence.

Han walked up to Taejoon, his eyes fixed on the vampire's profile. Taejoon kept talking, his voice smooth and confident, but Han knew he was aware of his presence. Han grabbed Taejoon's ear, turning him around to face him.

The elders and staff stared in shock, their eyes wide with disbelief. Taejoon was known for being strict and hot-tempered, and here Han was, treating him like a disobedient child.

Taejoon's eyes met Han's, a hint of amusement dancing in their depths. "Han, what are you doing?" he asked, his voice low and husky.

Han's face was inches from Taejoon's, his eyes flashing with irritation. "You ignored me," he accused.

Taejoon chuckled, his arms wrapping around Han's waist, pulling him closer. "I wouldn't dare," he whispered, his lips brushing against Han's ear.

The room erupted into whispers and gasps, but Taejoon didn't flinch. He glared at the elders and staff, his eyes daring them to comment.

"Leave us," he commanded, his voice cold and authoritative.

The room emptied quickly, the elders and staff whispering among themselves. "They're bothers but why would Taejoon hold hands waist like that

Taejoon turned back to Han, his eyes softening. "Sorry, love. I had to finish the meeting."

Han's anger melted away, replaced by a warm feeling in his chest. "You better be," he grumbled, his arms wrapping around Taejoon's neck.

Taejoon smiled, his lips brushing against Han's. "I will be, I promise."
