The three spells models were as fallow the previously mentioned "wizard hand"."element shields" it's a simple spell usually learned by apprentice wizard in order to protect against element attacks and it's protection against physical attacks is minimal,the final one "dark fire" as it's name suggests is a fire spell using dark element as fuel giving it a more destructive power specially against unprepared enemy but it's a little hard to learn.
So first he started with the two neutral spells element shield took him a day to learn since it was similar to blood shield except the later protect against physical attacks.
As for "wizard hand" it took him three days to learn as it was a little hard since usualy after he visualised the spell he tend to realised expect this one needed constant concentration to use while also doing something parallel.
But this training also helped in using his shadow skill and after reading he started working on making his first spell model called "shadow hand" an original name.
As for the diary he was still reading but from the parts he had already finished he concluded first wizard are scholars with superpowers,second their power come their different array of skills they have,using other species strong traits to his their weaknesses and also from accumulated knowledge over different subjects concerning the targets they want to attack.
