Selina slipped into her workstation, then placed her handbag down, pulled out her chair, and sat.
Annabelle threw her head back and groaned. "I'm so drowsy right now. Director Callum will drain me with tasks if I even blink too long."
Callum shot her a glare that made her instantly sit upright, alert as ever.
When she noticed Selina organizing the stack of documents, Annabelle cupped her cheeks dramatically.
"Do I look exhausted? Dark circles?" she asked, widening her eyes at Selina across the table.
Selina leaned closer, studying her features before humming thoughtfully. "Not really. Your makeup hides it well."
Annabelle slumped in relief. "Thank goodness. I need a serious break soon—a full rest and skincare routine. A time for watching my favourite dramas."
Selina could only smile.
"You're being noisy," came a stern yet quiet voice.
Selina and Annabelle turned sharply to see that the speaker was Jasper.
