While Zane's black sedan cruised down toward the gate, a white sedan rolled in slowly from the opposite direction—only to halt abruptly the moment Zane and Selina's vehicle passed by.
From the back passenger seat, the woman inside caught every second of the scene unfolding before her eyes. What truly ignited her fury, however, was watching Zane cradle Selina in his arms—protectively and possessively to settle her in the car.
"I can't believe this," Maura muttered, her tone laced with jealousy and cold resentment. "Zane hasn't even come to see and ask if I'm satisfied with his arrangements. Yet here he is—parading around with that woman."
From the driver's seat, her loyal assistant glanced at her through the rearview mirror before replying calmly,
"Young Miss, there's no need to be upset. I've looked into it. She's already planning to divorce him soon."
