I watched as they jumped on my bed before they came down eventually bretahing like morons .
I sighed seriously they really don't have anything to do with themselves, come on they don't even know whether that ken of a guy would even like me and the worst of it all is the embarrassment of getting rejected by ken.
Okay he showed some signs that he was a little interested and I couldn't still forget the hug he gave me _ so sweet and cuddly and I also couldn't forget how I embarrassingly froze on him seriously yesterday was worst day of my life .
Not typically the worst day like I seem to say it _ but it was very embarrassing.
come on I acted like a clown but still can't forget the fact that ken might just take me as a friends I couldn't spoil our new friendship because of my stupid friends want me to find love bullshit .
I watched as Lyda and Clara ransacked my clothes not failing to notice all the scowl they had on their face before tossing the clothe on the couch ,they continued this till my clothes were sprawled on the couch some on the floor .
I sighed massaging my forehead ,standing up from the bed , I watched Clara and Lyda looked at the pile of clothes before looking at me .
"Girl don't you have better clothes ?" Clara asked swinging her hand exasperatedly with a pout .
I frowned slight . Did she actually expected me to answer that ???.
"Yeah sure the only thing I can find here is sweaters ,no fine dresses ,good trousers, short or anything come of it " Lyda said kicking my wardrobe close .
I jerked at the sound , turning to glare at her .
"Because I like those ..." I couldn't finish my sentence as Lyda shoved me with her hands to stop talking .
Why was I even trying to explain .
I scoffed loudly, as I picked some clothes on the couch stuffing them in my wardrobe.
They scatter I arrange .....so stupid of me .
After packing the clothes roughly which I was going to arrange, if this two girls were to leave my house now , I turned back to Clara and Lyda as they brought out something behind the chair .
I failed to notice the small shopping bag earlier .
Wait What the heck ? !!!!
...I laughed so loudly staring at the clothes Clara just brought out .
This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen throughout today .
pointing at the clothe I said .
"Seriously guys who do you think is going to wear those clothes "
"You duh who else stop laughing like a jackass" Clara muttered rolling her eyes with a frown. .
"Yeah you are right_ when pigs fly I would wear that " I cleaned my throat cleaning the tears from the corner of my eyes with a tired sigh I continued . " when have you ever seen me wear crop tops like those ?, when have I ever worn such ??" I said pointing at the three crop top they brought out one was a tank crop top , the other was a tee crop top and the last was a long sleeve corset crop top .
"Look have you ever wonder why guys never ask you out " Lyda suddenly threw the question,holding my hands as she took me to the bed to sit down .
"Yeah because you never wear something that reveals you know your stuff come on you got things , don't dress like a boy" Clara said making me to blush .
Did she even know what she was saying .
"The true meaning to that is boys don't follow boys or girls who dress like boys or act like boys " Lyda said like I didn't understand what she was saying before .
I wasn't dumb or something . I gave her a sarcastic face ,yanking my hand from her grip .
"And by now you know that you dress like a boy maria " Clara said making me pout , trying to argue but then I shut my mouth back up .
really I kinda of dressed like a boy yesterday I wore a jersey and a trouser with white sneaker _ Richard called me his TWIN.
geez
I don't think I was suppose to argue about that they were actually right even though it was painful to admit it .
"So are you going to sit down there like a stuffed animal or are you going to get your lazy ass and that grumpy face to the bathroom and take a shower ,we don't really have the whole day to execute our plan" Clara said bringing out her phone from her pant pocket checking the time ,she placed it back in .
"Did you just call me a stuffed animal Lara? " I asked as she rolled her eyes not even trying to defend her self .
How rude .
I took my towel huffing walking begrudgingly to my bathroom ,not forgetting to give them both a good glare and also finishing it with a loud scoff .
As I took my shower I heard my door being banged loudly , the room suddenly too quiet .
I turned off the shower , wrapped my towel around myself . I tiptoed to the door pausing for a minute.
But I got ask _ why did it look as if i was the one getting into a persons house who doesn't want me there.
' This is your room ' I had to say that five times in my head but that didn't stop me from walking silently to the door .
I opened the door a little enough, to peek out my head through the small space, a small smile slowly forming on my lipwhen I couldn't find anyone .
The smile lasted for approximately _three seconds or less , when I heard Clara sarcastice words .
" girl how many times we will tell you that we ain't giving up come out and stopping peeking like some sneaky rat "
I bang the door loudly with a low growl ,stomping my foot on the ground, I forgot that I was still in the bathroom and the ground was still wet. I almost tripped before holding the door to steady my self .
My friends sure wanna make me commit suicide don't they .
My towel loosed a little revealing a little of my chest as I quickly tied it properly taking two deep breaths to calm myself down .
I came out eventually,with a stupid fake smile which also looked weird .
" keep that smile going on your face you might as well convince others that you are really an idiot " Clara said chuckling.
The fake smiled I manage to put on dropped . I wonder why I was even trying to act happy with this whole arrangement , when clearly I am not .
I sent her my most deadliest glare ,while she raised her hands up in defence mode ,sighing I walked to my dressing table .
After I finished applying my cream and wearing other things I sat on the bed waiting for Clara who still wouldn't let me get dress .
"Come on why can't I get dressed" I asked for the ninth time, she also rolled her eyes too for the ninth time ,sitting down beside me on the bed .
" girl do you only want to wear the cropped top and panties to school huh I would have agreed because that was kinda of the best way to seduce a boy and it would be reducing our work quick because the minute ken sees you he will be all over you but then I know you wouldn't agree... sooo just chill out and wait for Lyda she forgot to bring it " Clara said .
My eyes couldn't even regain it normal size ...
I was clearly speechless ..
she got me when she said she would have suggested I wore a crop top and panties to school
The hell I won't even do that if I was handed a fifty million naira check note .
That would be the most embarrassing thing i would ever do in my life.
okay yeah it would be embarrassing and also not to forget that I will get expelled from school dressing in such an indecent way and my mum will then bury me alive while my brother annoyingly laughed at me .
We waited for a few minute before Lyda came back breathing heavily with a black shopping bag . I released a sigh thankful that she was already back ,Clara made me eat my break fast so we wouldn't be late for school.
Clara walked up to Lyda who awkwardly scratched her hair .
"where were you?" Clara asked as Lyda eyed me for a second .
A frown settled on my forehead, why is she giving me that look !!
what did I do .
"I got stuck in traffic " she said softly . Clara rubbed her forehead waving for her to not explain .
We didn't have much time so I guess that was why she was in a hurry .
She took the back bag from lyda before bringing out some clothes .
I blinked twice wondering if I was sweeing right .
My mind and whole body completed a full somersault without me even moving .
