"Maria you were so great " Lyda said excitedly giving me a hug , after which Clara also hugged me .
I danced about twirling forgetting I was still wearing a swimsuit , swinging my towel above my head.
I twirled round smiling as I stopped taking a position where my hair came to fall on my left shoulder freely since it was a little wet considering the cap which I wore was not very tight allowing water to enter into her hair , I placed my arms around my waist before saying
"guys what do you expect_ from the great me " I asked proudly with a smirk watching Clara roll her eyes smiling brightly .
"Says the girl who was rating herself from ten to fifteen ".
" really ???"Lyda asked covering her mouth smiling .
Clara nodded before saying " yeah actually she was contemplating" . Lyda laughed out hearing this while I just smiled watching both of them .
"Either way ..still won " .
"Yeah you did win and look at Adela she is so upset " Clara commented giving me a high five which I happily took .
"Of course she should be , she always trying to be better than me which isn't possible ...cause you know am the best " i said dusting my shoulders while smiling .
"Of course you are the best , Clara told me what had happened between you and her , the girl really needs to take a chill pill " Lyda said while I nodded slowly .
Clara and Lyda stopped laughing as they stared at me I raised a brow at them before they jerked their head to kens direction
I finally turned to see ken was watching me all along with that small smirk on his face .
"Excuse me girls " I whispered clearing my throat .
I jogged straight to him happily jumping into his arms for a hug .
I didn't think it through though , but I guess I was just excited.
I was suprised when he hugged me ,carrying me up a little. I felt my legs leave the ground for sometime before it settle back down.
Clearing my throat I looked round the place trying to avoid his gaze as I oulled away .
I seriously didn't think this true , but I couldn't run .
It would be like I was struck by madness !!!.
You can't jump into somebody arms for a hug _ and run the next minute like you saw a ghost .
this was awkward I thought turning back to ken who seem a little too confuse at my reaction while he scratched the back of his head .
"Sorry " I quickly apologized tucking a wet piece of strand behind my ear .
"No problem ...you did great " he said with a smile .
A grin spread across my face at his compliment.
It actually felt good ,hearing him say that .
"What can I say I always do great " I said chuckling, feeling myself floating in the sky .
"I didn't know you were into swimming ?" .
"I told you I love sports " I replied excitedly , jumping up while closing my eyes .
That's a total LIE !!!.
I was really a bad liar ....really ....sport was never in my ' what I love doing best book ' ...and I wasn't even thinking of adding it .
Though I do love swimming too.
" you seem over the moon " ken commented while placing two of his fingers in his front pocket , I just smiled cheekily as we both shared an eye contact ....again .
I cleared my throat with a small smile .
"Mm , I feel on top of the moon ...I am so happy "
" i am so proud of you " ken said placing his hands on my shoulder .
Gosh why did I feel like I could fly right now _ if that was possible.
This guy was really good at making me feel good
Damn he should becime a certified motivational speaker .
His face would do the trick _ he didn't even need to talk .
I smiles brightly shaking my head a little to get rid of the thoughts .
"Its means so much coming from you" I muttered staring at him .
He chuckled before he ruffled my hair .
"When is your game starting ?" I asked after a few minutes. ken glanced at his watch .
"Few hours from now , the junior basketball team would first play their game ".
" don't worry I would be here to watch you " I said in a reassuring tone while ken grinned looking at me .
"Of course you would be there , I want to see you sitting down on the first role ,okay " he said patting my head slowly while I smiled brightly like a little child .
I feel like he liked doing that thing ,patting my hair everytime .

I dragged my eyes slowly from ken still smiling stupidly to look at Clara who had walked over to us .
She cleared her throat to gain my attention with this small smile . I raised a brow staring at her wondering why she was here.
"Um...maria we need to talk " Clara said . I used my eyes to signal at ken , moving my eyes from ken to Clara without moving my head so ken wouldn't notice .
"Yeah but we still need to talk " she still insisted , sighing I looked at ken giving a small smile I waved .
"I'll be back " I said quickly. He gave me a curt nod .
Clara quickly grabbed my hand _ tugging me hand quickly .
I wonder why she was in such a hurry .
I stopped refusing to move again .
Come on she just kept dragging me like some ragged doll .
Clara turned it face me with a frown raising a brow she asked " why did you stop ?" .
"And where are you dragging me too , look I don't know what you are up to but having a normal conversation with ken is better than trying something stupid ..right??? " I asked gingerly while she frowned giving me a stupid face .
" am going to pretend I didn't hear that and probably after I tell you this, you would thank me "
I don't think I was in the mood to hear a bad news .
Before Clara could say anything , Lyda came to rest her jaw on Clara shoulder beating Clara at whatever she wanted to say .
"Your clothes " .
"My clothes " .
"MY CLOTHES ! " I shouted staring at the swimming suit which I was still wearing .
My eyes flew open .

So I literally walked round this place...with a SWIMSUIT.
Damn ..!!!!
What was I thinking .
I was dancing , jumping and grinning like complete fool ,and i didn't realize I was still in my swimsuit which didn't do any justice to my legs ...all of it .
"Clara why didn't you tell me ?" I asked shaking my head after some minute in disappointment.
"Don't give me that, I tried telling you but you were acting all fuzzy after staying with that boy " Clara said huffing angrily glaring like I offended her as she turned to Lyda to also glare at her .
"Way to go stealing my shine ".
" sorry Clara but I don't think I stole your shine , you spent your time talking bullshit " Lyda replied rolling her eyes sky high while Clara opened her mouth pointing at herself .
"I talk rubbish you talk stupid , beside I was about to tell her before you slipped your mouth into our conversation ".
" yeah you will tell her a bazillion years after or maybe after people finished taking pics of maria the ' not so famous girl who always dressed boyishly in a swimsuit popping her ass out for the camera ' "Lyda broke the news scoffing our loud .
If it was possible, my eyes wide further .
Damn...I am doomed.
I quickly looked around to now notice the stares _ they weren't much , neither were they few .
oh my world I thought quickly rushing into the girls locker room leaving the two girl behind .
They were still bickering either way it not like they would die or kill themselves they will just used words to hurt their feelings ...then after that they settle .
