Shaken but supported by his wife Khadijah (RA), Muhammad ﷺ accepted his mission as the final Messenger of Allah. At first, he preached secretly to close friends and family. Among the first believers were:
Khadijah bint Khuwaylid
Ali ibn Abi Talib
Abu Bakr as-Siddiq
Zayd ibn Harithah
Islam taught simple yet powerful truths:
There is only One God
All humans are equal
Justice, mercy, and honesty are sacred
The weak must be protected
Life has purpose beyond this world
