Despite peace in Madinah, Quraysh continued their hostility. Several battles took place, including Badr, Uhud, and Khandaq. Though Muslims faced hardship and loss, they remained firm.
Islam was never spread by force. Even during war, the Prophet ﷺ forbade harming women, children, elders, or places of worship. He taught mercy even toward enemies.
