The creation of the life potion allowed Green to completely disregard the situation after his departure, so he began to devote himself wholeheartedly to meditation.
During this time, Green also officially established relationships with Ashville, Lyra, and Mia.
After Green revealed to his father that he was leaving Allendale, the three somehow got the information from his father. One night, the three of them raided Green's place.
With three girls offering themselves up, Green naturally wouldn't refuse. However, as apprentice knights, the three girls' stamina far exceeded Green's expectations. If Green hadn't broken through to the Great Knight level with the help of life potions and possessed a strong physique, he might have been drained dry by the three of them.
Green understood the three's intentions. No matter how Green maintained the Perfume House, without an heir, it would ultimately be a castle in the air. Once Green left, the Perfume House, without a successor, would soon be targeted by others.
In an effort to have offspring, the three girls took turns coming almost every night. It took two months for all three to conceive Grimm's children before this situation ended. Grimm felt that even his great knightly constitution was struggling to keep up during that time.
Fortunately, this situation ended after the three women became pregnant, and Green was able to meditate in peace.
Time flies, and as January draws ever closer, the entire city of Elendal comes alive with activity. Countless nobles from neighboring countries flock to Elendal for the annual business conference. Elendal enters its most frenzied time of the year.
Countless shops, employing every trick in the book, weren't competing for customers. Grimm's perfume shop was also incredibly popular, with the price of luxury perfumes skyrocketing several times over, making Grimm a fortune. However, Grimm wasn't concerned with this; what truly captivated him was the gathering of nobles from around the world, who were willing to endure a three-month voyage to bring their children to Elendal.
This unusual situation, combined with the wizard recruitment held in Elendall every January, allowed Green to easily deduce that these nobles from all over the world were there to participate in the wizard selection.
As Green had predicted, the governor of the port of Elendall held a ball and sent invitations to all the nobles. The invitations contained no information, but when the guests entered the ball, the guards at the door would ask if there was any information on the invitations.
If one is merely a minor nobleman, unaware of the true purpose of the ball, even if one wanted to sneak in, there would be no chance.
Green simply mentioned "wizard," and the guards at the door immediately understood and respectfully invited Green in.
Standing on the balcony of Governor's Mansion in Elendal, Green looked at the bustling Elendal and was filled with a myriad of thoughts.

Looking at his Spirit stat of 11.0, Green nodded to himself. He was just one rune away from becoming a second-tier apprentice. Less than a year had passed. Although he didn't know what top-tier talent looked like, Green estimated that this talent shouldn't be too bad.
When Grimm arrived at the ball, he specifically scanned everyone. Sure enough, there were people like him, some of whom had also practiced meditation beforehand, though far less than Grimm. These people knew more information and were still coming to participate in the wizard selection, so they must have some confidence in their talents. Since these people were far inferior to Grimm, he naturally had nothing to worry about.
"That makes sense. If everyone here got their meditation techniques from books like me, that would be too exaggerated. It must be a meditation technique passed down from their ancestors. Every year, people from the great nobles and royalty participate in the wizard selection, so it's perfectly normal for one or two wizards to emerge." Seeing that most of the attendees at the meeting were members of the top nobles and royalty, Green thought to himself.
"Hey Green, why don't you go find someone to dance with?"
Governor Eric of Arendal approached Grimm and asked. Eric was enormous; even in a long yellow robe, his bulging muscles were undeniable. Eric was also quite interested in this perfume tycoon who had risen to prominence in Arendal. A minor nobleman from the Kingdom of Notting, yet he possessed information about wizards.
Most importantly, Eric could clearly sense that Grimm was a great knight. Such a young great knight, even if he couldn't become a wizard, was definitely worth recruiting; perhaps Grimm had the potential to become a legendary paladin.
"Thank you for your kindness, Governor, but the test will begin in a few days, and I'm a little nervous. I might not be able to jump," Green said apologetically, a worried look on his face.
"Oh, I see! But that's normal. It's rumored that the wizard's vetting process is extremely strict, and the fees are enormous. It's understandable that you're nervous, Green!"
Eric looked at the worry on Green's face and recalled the scenes he had witnessed over the years: the expressions of despair on the faces of noble children deemed talentless by wizards upon learning the results. As he comforted Green, Eric nodded in deep sympathy.
[Extraordinary expenses?]
Upon hearing Eric mention the enormous sum of money, Green began to have doubts.
The meditation method from Whitehouse Academy didn't mention any fees. It seemed that as long as one learned the method from the three books and informed the admissions staff, entry to the academy would be possible. It appears my understanding of the wizarding world is still insufficient.
"Eric, you must have met quite a few wizards over the past ten years or so. Can you tell me about them?" Green asked Eric casually.
Upon hearing Grimm's question, Eric immediately shared it with him.
"Wizards, a powerful group of people with mysterious powers. They are eccentric, but each one of them is a scholar. There is almost no knowledge they do not know. They admire research and pursue the true meaning of the world." Eric said, his face full of reminiscence as he spoke of his impressions of wizards.
"Some wizards are very friendly and can cast spells on ordinary people. However, not all wizards are friendly. Some wizards are very cruel and do not regard ordinary people as lives, but as expendable resources." As if thinking of something bad, Eric's face turned pale, and his face was filled with fear.
[Powerful, aloof, erudite, friendly, cold, cruel.] Looking at Eric's expression, Green began to construct a portrait of a wizard. The first three are common traits among wizards, while the latter three represent the individual personalities of each wizard.
Eric quickly snapped out of his reverie, turned to look at Green, and said with a serious expression.
"Green, you must join the White Wizards. If you are rejected because of your lack of talent, even if you have to give up, do not choose the Black Wizards. Over the years, very few of those who chose the Black Wizards have been able to return as wizards. The vast majority of them died on the other side of the continent."
The distinction between "white robes" and "black robes" appears to represent different factions in the wizarding world, with white robes leaning towards good and black robes towards evil. However, they are not entirely opposed; otherwise, they wouldn't be recruiting students simultaneously. It seems to stem from differing ideologies, and the two are likely in a state of competition.
Hearing Eric's reminder, Green turned to look at Eric.
"Thank you for the reminder, Governor. I will certainly keep it in mind."
Seeing Green's serious reply, as if he had listened to all of Eric's advice, Eric smiled.
"Alright, stop looking so sad. I'll introduce you to some people. Perhaps you can even travel together on another continent."
"No wonder Eric was able to reach this position. Just this skill alone will make him a role model for all wizards. He truly deserves to be the governor of Allendale Port. He's top-notch in both martial arts and intelligence." Green thought to himself as he looked at Eric's smiling face.
"Then thank you very much, Your Excellency." This matter will not do Green any harm, even if he will owe Eric a favor.
"Then come with me!" Eric waved his hand, turned and walked towards the ball, gesturing for Green to follow.
Green watched Eric walk toward the ball and followed without hesitation.
