Chapter 32 - 32 Alliance, Wizarding World

At the center of the ball, nobles, dignitaries, and top businessmen from around the world gathered in groups, their faces sometimes showing smiles and sometimes looking serious, discussing something unknown.

The young people who were going to participate in the wizard selection also gathered in groups of three or five, but their faces showed more innocence and curiosity about the unknown world.

Green followed Eric to one of the groups of young people.

"George, what are you talking about? Why don't you let me introduce you to a companion?" Eric walked over to one of the young men, patted him on the shoulder, and said with a smile.

"Governor Eric, I'd love to get to know the person you're introducing. Is this the one behind you?" The young man called George wasn't annoyed at being interrupted by Eric. Instead, he answered Eric respectfully.

"Come, Green, let me introduce you. This is Amy Raine George, the eldest son of the Amy Raine family, one of the top councilor families in Allendale."

Green looked at George, whose features were regular, his skin was fair, and he was wearing a tailcoat. A calm aura emanated from him, and his eyes often flashed with light.

"Hello, Mr. Green. Your reputation as the Perfume King is well-known throughout the entire Maslow Alliance. I would be more than happy to become your partner." George smiled and extended his hand to Green.

"Hello!" Green smiled and shook hands with George.

Seeing that their first meeting went well, Eric smiled and said to George.

"George, introduce the other people to Green. You'll all be participating in the selection process, so you can help each other out. You're all around the same age, so you'll have more to talk about. I won't bother you any longer."

After saying this, Eric looked at Green, nodded in acknowledgment, and then turned and left.

"These are the Fila and Fia sisters. They are from the Philx family, which owns the famous Philx Trading Company. Incidentally, their family also has a cooperative relationship with your Perfume House. They greatly admire a powerful knight like yourself," George introduced to Green, pointing to the two women in the group.

"Hello, Mr. Green! It's a great honor to meet you!" The two sisters, Fila and Fia, look very similar, both with long blonde hair and sky-blue eyes. However, Fila, as the older sister, is taller, while Fia resembles a smaller version of Fila. Their tacit understanding is remarkable; they greeted Green simultaneously, a slight blush on their faces as they looked at him.

"It's an honor to meet you both for the first time, Miss Fira and Miss Fia!" Green smiled and placed his hand on his chest, giving them a noble greeting. Green did have some recollection of the Philx family; they were involved in perfumes, and the Philx family was one of Green's perfume distributors.

George continued pointing to the group of people and began to introduce them to Green one by one.

"This is Roland, the second son of the Bint family, a renowned military family in the Maslow Alliance." Roland was very burly, with skin tanned dark by the sun, clearly having undergone rigorous training.

"This is Aisso, the second son of the Nanot family, also from a military family." Aisso's build is similar to Roland's, and he also comes from a military family, so he probably started training at a young age.

"This is David, the second son of the Esfield family. Like me, his family is also a member of the Maslow Alliance." David's appearance is that of a nobleman. He has fair skin, neatly styled black hair, golden eyes, and wears a tailcoat, which perfectly matches the image of an old nobleman.

George introduced him to these people, and Green shook hands with them.

[The chip scans everyone's data.]

[Aiso: Strength: 2.6 Speed: 2.3, Constitution: 2.7 Spirit: 1~2]

[David: Strength: 2.5, Speed: 2.3, Constitution: 2.4, Spirit: 1-2]

The entire group consisted of knight apprentices, including Fila and Fia, who were both girls.

"Let's give a round of applause to welcome Green to our group," George said after introducing everyone.

A round of applause erupted as everyone once again congratulated Green on joining the group.

"Gentlemen, you are all aware of my situation. I don't know much about the wizarding world. Can you tell me about it?" Green got straight to the point. Now that they had formed a group, there was no need to hide his intentions.

Upon hearing Green's question, the others looked confused, as if they didn't know much about the wizarding world. Only George's expression changed, and finally, as if he had made up his mind, he pointed to a room, signaling everyone to go there together.

Seeing George's actions, everyone couldn't help but feel excited and quickly entered the room George indicated. After everyone was inside, George carefully observed the situation outside the door, closed the door, and then turned around to look at everyone.

"George, is it really necessary to be so cautious? It's okay to share some general information about the wizarding world, right? Everyone knows these things, so it's fine to tell Grin, right?" Roland, who came from a military family, looked at the cautious George and said with puzzlement.

"What do you think I formed this alliance for? It's so I can safely reach the academy and become a true wizard. You don't think the entire journey will be safe, do you?"

George spoke to everyone with a gloomy expression and a low tone. Seeing George's expression, the atmosphere in the room slowly fell silent.

"Let's start with the basics. The place we're heading to is called the East Coast, which is occupied by two major alliances: the White Witch Association and the Black Witch Council. These two organizations have different ideologies."

"The White Witches' training methods are more peaceful. Our Knight Academy is no different. Even if you don't achieve anything, you won't die easily. However, the White Witches have higher requirements for aptitude, making it more difficult to enter their academy. But the Black Witches are different. They worship strength more and believe that only a cruel environment can cultivate strong people. Aptitude is just one standard and does not represent everything. Therefore, even if someone's aptitude is not good, they will still be admitted to the Black Witch organization." At this point, George's face turned pale.

"If you are not accepted by the White Witch Organization, never risk joining the Black Witch Organization. The competition among Black Witches is extremely brutal, and it's easy to die on the way to the academy. Legend has it that the Black Witch Organization deliberately creates trouble on the ships heading to the academy to filter out the weak. Even if you reach the academy, you may not survive the brutal competition. Almost no wizard who comes out of the Black Witch Organization is not twisted. Physical modification, having three hands, three legs, or three heads are just the most common occurrences among Black Witches. Manipulating souls and tormenting a person for eternity is a compulsory course for almost every Black Witch."

George's pale face provided the strongest evidence for his words, and the others in the group also looked increasingly grim because of them.

Giving up the chance to become wizards was virtually impossible for them. These individuals carried family missions, and if rejected by one organization, their families would undoubtedly urge them to try again in another. By the standards of dark wizarding organizations, probably none would be rejected. The color drained from Fira and Fia's faces, leaving only fear.

Standing to the side, Green listened to George's explanation and couldn't help but feel fortunate. Although he was very confident in himself, he absolutely didn't want to go to the Black Witch Organization. If he were to be accidentally killed by a curse or something, dying before even starting his mission would be terrible. In his previous life, he had experienced many assassination attempts and lived in constant fear; Green didn't want to go through that again.

"There are a total of six organizations on the entire East Coast: three white wizards, three black wizards, and other organizations of all sizes that come here to recruit. On recruitment day, the simplest way to distinguish them is by their attire: white wizards will wear white robes, and black wizards will wear black robes."

"The three major white witch organizations are called the Six Rings Tower, the Natural School, and the White House Academy."

"The three major dark magic organizations are called the Dollhouse, the Silent Academy, and the School of Souls."

"But you should also be careful. Some dark wizard organizations will deliberately wear white robes, but white wizards will not wear black robes."

George's words made everyone except Green turn even paler. The two girls almost collapsed to the ground. How could there be such an organization that had tricked them like this?

As for Grimm, he remained expressionless. In everyone's eyes, Grimm, who possessed the strength of a Grand Knight, certainly had the confidence to do so. Even if he was assigned to the Black Witch Organization, with the strength of a Grand Knight, he would definitely not be at the bottom.

Everyone realized what was happening and turned their attention to Grimm. The reason George wanted to win over Grimm was because of Grimm's status as a Grand Knight. Although they didn't know what level a Grand Knight was among wizards, Grimm was definitely one of the top wizards among them who had just been selected.

"Brother Green, you'll definitely protect us, right?" Fila and Fia had already reacted and timidly walked to Green's side. The two of them took Green's hands and leaned against him, looking at him with pity.

"Don't worry, as long as we're in the same academy, I'll definitely provide protection for everyone." George provided Green with a lot of information, and if they were in the same place, helping them out would be a no-brainer. Of course, if things were truly unavoidable, Green would be powerless to help.

With the conversation reaching this point, everyone in the team was filled with worry and naturally lost interest in continuing the dance. Green quickly took his leave and returned to his manor.

Back at his manor, Green threw himself into experiments, creating hundreds of perfume formulas and cultivating thousands of Gloom flower seeds (each Gloom flower blooms for a year). He used up all the materials in the lab to produce over fifty bottles of life potions. Green dared not gamble; the wizarding world was not as peaceful as he imagined. If he were to die on the East Coast, he at least had to ensure the continuation of his family's lineage in Arendal Harbor.

Green also gathered the key personnel and had them announce the news.

Old Green sat at the table, watching Green tap on the table repeatedly, and in the end just watched Green silently without saying a word.

The three pregnant women, Ashville and her two companions, did not cry and beg Green not to leave. Instead, they sat there silently, showing their support.

Seeing this situation, Green even hesitated about whether he should leave. However, Green quickly made up his mind. If he didn't leave now, it would be even more impossible for him to leave after the child was born.
