Chapter 16 - Battle between swordmasters

Everything around Karsa turned into a purple light that pressed down on everything around him.

"Karsa!!!" Bulkan screamed in terror.

Rosa stepped out of the carriage and walked towards Anthony.

Anthony smiled. "Rosa, you're alright!"

Rosa slapped her brother across the face, yelling at him.

Anthony was shocked and his face contorted. "What are you doing, you idiot? That person saved us before!"

Anthony spoke in a tense tone. "What are you talking about, sister? That person is clearly dangerous."

The moment Rosa tried to speak, Bulkan appeared behind her with glowing green eyes and an intense aura that tore through the air.

His sword was coated in a dark green hue. "You bastard! Give Karsa back!" Bulcan yelled.

Anthony pushed his sister away and blocked Bulcan's sword strike, which devastated the surrounding area.

Two colors, a blend of black and purple with a deep green, transformed the entire area within a 200-meter radius into a black circle, as if night had fallen upon the land,

with intense purple and green hues resembling a great Northern Lights.

Both Bulkan and Anthony pushed their swords to defeat each other. In a battle between sword masters, Lara and Rosa watched fearfully from afar at the sight before them.

Anthony grimaced. "You bastards! How dare you do this to the greatest family in the kingdom of Maltalia?"

Bulkan drew his sword, lowered his body, and struck Anthony in the stomach, sending him flying and causing a great darkness to vanish.

Anthony struggled to his feet, clutching his stomach.

Rosa tried to approach. "Brother!"

Anthony raised his hand, stopping his sister. "Stop, Rosa. This is a fight between men. If that man were here, he wouldn't have allowed a member of his family to get near."

Bulkan assumed a fighting stance, raising his sword to his neck. "The Great Dam Strike!!"

The moment Bulkan brandished his sword, a massive green wall of aura crashed down upon Anthony from above.

It was a wall even larger than a city wall.

In a swift moment, Anthony raised his sword. "The Great Sun Wall!" A purple wall formed, deflecting Bulkan's attack.

But just as the wall blocked Bulkan's back from below, he tried to thrust his sword at Anthony's neck.

Anthony smiled, thinking to himself in a final moment, "Unfortunately, I failed... Master... I couldn't truly conjure the sun."

Then, in an instant, Karsa appeared, concealing all of Bulkan's techniques and auras, and holding Bulkan's sword with just two fingers.

Karsa, with a serious expression this time, said, "That's enough...!"

Both Bulkan and Anthony were shocked by what they saw.

Anthony stepped back slightly, shouting and waving his finger. "I killed you a moment ago! Why are you still standing there?"

Karsa replied calmly, "You need more than that to kill me."

Bulkan spoke, puzzled and surprised. "How did you get out of there, Karsa? That was too much pressure, even for someone of your caliber."

Lara spoke, stepping forward beside Rosa. "Mr.Karsa came out at the beginning of your fight, pulled me out of a carriage, and sat me down Beside the lady, he stood watching your fight. It was strange that you didn't notice him."

Rosa stepped forward to Anthony, her face angry. "Anthony, you really must apologize to the two gentlemen. Without them, we wouldn't be in this situation."

After the misunderstanding was cleared up...

Anthony shouted, his face terrified. "Heeeeeeh ! You were attacked by bandits! Those bastards! How dare they stop a carriage bearing the flag of the great Bamira family?"

Rosa sighed and said, "Actually, we didn't fly a family flag on a carriage."

Anthony retorted angrily, "Why didn't you? Don't you know how dangerous this is?"

Rosa replied with a very serious expression, "Brother, I must meet my father now. The duchy and the kingdom are in grave danger."

After a few minutes, everyone entered the castle, and the family took charge of repairing the gate and its exterior.

Bulkan and Karsa were taken to a guest room in the main house of the Bamira duchy, which featured a grand old design adorned with purple phoenixes, black columns, and gray walls. Gardens and training grounds on almost every corner.

Karsa and Bulkan were sitting in a guest room decorated with expensive paintings, swords and weapons hanging on the walls, and a table in front of it laden with all kinds of food.

Bulkan spoke irritably.

"You do something good and then you find yourself in a predicament and with a headache."

Karsa remained silent....

Bulkan shouted, "Say something, damn it!"

Then Bulkan sighed slightly and said, "Speaking of which, that boy has two Sani organs? ..... Although I don't really know much about that."

Karsa spoke in a calm tone drinks tea .

" two organs allow a person to be faster in transforming atoms into what they want and reduce the mental effort required to visualize a technique or whatever you want."

Bulkan was puzzled, a question mark hanging over his head.

"Huh? What are you talking about? What does that have to do with anything?"

Karsa replied, "For example, if you want to start a fire, you accelerate the electrons of an atom to increase its temperature to start a fire, right? So, what you do is... Imagine electrons speeding up, and your Sani organ acting on your imagination, accelerating the electrons you want to the size, quantity, and power you desire.3

Bulkan laughed at Karsa, mocking his words. "What are you talking about? Are you saying that if I imagined myself making my body invulnerable to everything, it would happen? If that were true, I would have gone right now and crushed the Eight Greats and conquered the world!"

Karsa put down his teacup and sighed. "It's not that simple. The more complex or powerful your imagination and intentions are, the greater the pressure on your Sani organ will be.

Sometimes it will lead to organ failure, magical infertility, and sometimes death.

For example, if someone tried to imagine turning all the atoms around them into ice spears, and their Sani organ lacked the power for that, and their mind couldn't consistently connect and visualize it, it would lead to serious injuries and sometimes death."

Bulkan, his face terrified, said, "That's frightening!"

Then Bulkan realized something and said "Oh, so that's what Sulia meant when she said that reaching the level of an old master requires great wisdom."

Karsa smiled. "Exactly, well said, Although I'm a little surprised that you reached swordmaster by instinct alone"

Bulkan snorted, raising his nose towards the sky...

until an elf man , dressed as a servant with blue hair and white eyes, entered the room. "Excuse me, gentlemen, the head of the family wishes to see you both..."
