Chapter 19 - Banquet and Royal Decree

In the hut of the Black Fingers Organization leader

Nolkan sat under the shade of a tree while Eliana slept in her room

Malcom appeared behind Nolkan

Malcolm looked serious

"The six remaining masters are here at headquarters today. We will begin our plan at the banquet hosted by the Bamira family."

Nolkan remained silent, smiled, and said,

" You have worked hard, Malcom."

Then Nolkan bowed his head and said gratefully,

"If it weren't for you, Malcolm, I would never be standing here."

Malcolm was shocked and spoke nervously,

"No, sir, please, I don't deserve your gratitude. I am only a servant."

Nolkan stood with a smile.

"How can you be a servant when you raised me and cared for me after my family died, trained me with the sword, and helped me to take my revenge?"

Malcom smiled and bowed his head slightly in response to Nolkan's gratitude.

Then suddenly, Nolkan's nose began to bleed, and he grabbed his head in pain.

Malcom screamed and immediately grabbed Nolkan.

"Sir ! Are you okay?!" "

Nolkan wiped the blood from his nose and said,

"Don't worry, Malcom. It's just a regular thing... you told me when I was little that it was just trauma symptoms, wasn't it?"

Malcom clenched his fist and bit his lip, saying,

"Yes, sir, just trauma symptoms..."

That night, at the main house of the Bamira family,

there was a grand banquet that welcomed dozens of nobles from different classes.

Carriages were parked outside the palace and guards were stationed everywhere.

In the oldest hall, decorated with the finest paintings, swords, and great works of art, servants bustled about, carrying tables laden with the finest dishes and delicacies prepared by the best chefs.

and nobles exchanged pleasantries, adorned in the finest and most luxurious clothes.

Anthony and Bulkan were in a corner of the hall, watching the noblemen's performance.

Bulkan said with annoyance, "Tsk, I was eagerly awaiting this performance, but what a disappointment. How boring!"

Anthony replied, equally annoyed,

"You're right... but you talk like a nobleman. If it weren't for your barbarism, I would have thought you were a nobleman from a fallen family."

Bulkan shouted angrily,

"Who are you calling barbaric, you singer of children's stories?"

Anthony shouted angrily. "What do you call children's stories? Are you mocking the Sun General ?!" One of the Eight Greats?!"

Bulkan sat down on the ground and sighed, saying

"Sun General , huh? My daughter really loved reading his stories when she was 7..... but you are truly talented to learn combat techniques like those from children's stories. Was that your own invention, or does the Sun General really have skills like the Great Sun ?" "

Anthony sat down on the ground too and said,

"Yes, indeed, but it's just a cheap imitation. The Great Sun of General Sun is capable of wiping out kingdoms from existence, or even the world, perhaps?"

Bulkan said sadly,

"If only I had 1% of the power of that technique, my daughter would be by my side now... "

Both Bulcan and Anthony fell silent.

It was clear from Anthony's face that there was a great story behind Bulcan,

but he refused to ask about it because he knew that man is like a snowy mountain; if you shake him a little, a great snowdrift occurs..

Karsa appeared in front of them carrying some simple snacks and gave them to each of them.

Each of them took an appetizer, and Anthony said,

"It seems that your huge physique has attracted the attention of noblewomens."

Most of the women in the hall were looking at Karsa's unusually large physique, as Karsa was over two and a half meters tall and had a strong muscular build, which was something rare for noble women who were used to seeing flabby bodies.

Karsa said with annoyance on his face,

"The body is just a mass of flesh and skin. It has no meaning without a mind and personality that show humanity."

Anthony laughed strangely at Karsa's words, which were always profound.

Bulkan spoke curiously.

"I have a question that has been on my mind for a long time, Karsa. Where do you intend to go after all this?"

Anthony also looked curiously.

Karsa said after sitting down next to them on the ground.

"The Atlas Academy..."

Bulkan and Anthony said at the same time.

"Oh, the Atlas Academy..."

Then they both realized what he meant and shouted in shock, causing everyone in the hall to look at them.

"Atlas Academy...!!!"

Bulkan shouted

"What the hell do you intend to do at the Atlas Academy...?"

Before Karsa could answer, a loud voice echoed through the hall.

It was Winson Bamira, standing beside his wife, Camilla Zatobia, and daughter, Rosa.

He was dressed in a black suit with purple flowers, and his sword was a long black blade with a single purple line. It was the Great Phoenix Eye, a sword passed down through the Bamira family.

"Welcome, all of you, my comrades, friends, and brothers in arms... I am delighted by your presence at this truly modest banquet, and I hope you will enjoy it... I also have good news: my daughter would have been in danger if it weren't for two young men sitting next to my son... Karsa and Bulkan, please applaud them and welcome them."

Everyone began to applaud Karsa and Bulkan with smiles until suddenly a soldier burst in, frantic. "Sir! Sir!"

Winson, annoyed by the soldier's nervousness, said, "What's wrong with you? You're embarrassing the family. Stand still. You are a proud soldier of the Bamira family."

A soldier took a breath and pointed to the door. "Sir... Axe Eye, one of the Black Fingers, stands before the palace gate."

Winson was furious, unleashing a powerful aura that made everyone in the hall tremble.

He then addressed the guests, "Please enjoy yourselves, esteemed guests. I have a rude guest to answer."

Winson left with a few soldiers, followed by Anthony and Bulkan.

Karsa glanced back and saw Winson's wife and Ben going somewhere else.

Karsa looked at them briefly, then followed Bulkan and Anthony outside.

There were over 100 masked Black Fingers soldiers and royal guards, led by a huge, muscular man, almost as tall as Karsa, with a serious expression, a black headband, an open-chested hunter's outfit, and a giant axe slung over his back.

Winson said angrily, "So the Black Fingers are bothered by a grand Bamira family banquet? Are you tired of life or what?"

His annoyance and anger were evident.

the large man spoke respectfully and with a serious expression."Not at all, and we apologize for disturbing the master of the Bamira family, the Purple Meteor. However, I would like you to accompany us to the White Court of the Kingdom for questioning."

Winson became furious, unleashing a great purple aura as everyone looked on.

"Repeat what you said..."

said the large man, compressed by Winson's aura.

"A royal decree has been sent to us, with the assistance of royal guards, to escort you to questioning to prevent any resistance or unfortunate incidents,"

he said, despite the intense aura above him and his sharp eyes.

Name: Klein

Race: Human

One of the Seven Masters of the Black Fingers Organization and holder of the title Eye Axe

Level: Grandmaster

Here, Winson unleashed an even stronger and more intense aura, saying,

"And what charges have I committed? I am the king's right-hand man!"

Klein said with a serious expression.

"Illegal slave trading and exorbitant taxation of citizens. We know it is impossible for a Purple Meteor to have done this, so please come with us for questioning as a matter of protocol only."

Winson said, with expression even angrier and more defiant."And if I refuse...?"

Klein raised his axe, unleashing a silver aura. All the men behind him acted as if raising their swords.

"Then we will take you by force..."

In that instant, all the men, even Klein, were beheaded simultaneously by a swift blow from Winson.

Blood spurted and heads flew everywhere. All the soldiers, even Antony and Bulkan, were stunned by Winson's actions and by the fact that he had killed a Grand master with such a swift strike.

While blood spurted and the palace gates were filled with it, and everyone was in shock, Karsa looked coldly at Winson, who held his sword, his face impassive and filled with rage.

Winson said coldly,

"Today is the 5th of Komsin. This is an unlucky day for the kingdom. That's why the king doesn't issue any decrees. This has been known for hundreds of years. For an organization to do something so foolish... why?"

Just then, a soldier appeared from behind, shouting,

"My lord!" "Sir!"

Anthony shouted. "Why are you shouting? What happened?"

A soldier said nervously and fearfully. "The young lady and the head lady of the family have disappeared."

Everyone was shocked, and Anthony cried out in panic, "What do you mean my mother and sister have disappeared?"

Winson unleashed an even more intense aura and smiled angrily. "Oh, so this is how you want to play, you black fingers."

..

In the distance, Malisa was with a little girl with a foxtail, a small dagger, and a little yellow and white dress.

Malisa looked at what had happened to Klein, she was crying. "Klein, we will never forget your sacrifice. We will destroy this truly cursed kingdom and that bastard Winson..."

A fox said sadly as she tied a string around someone. "He had to stand there to spread rumors that Winson had defied a royal decree, and that is considered rebellion and treason..."

Name: Samara.

Race: Human-Fox

One of the Seven Masters of the Black Fingers organization, nicknamed Light Fox

 level swordmaster

Then Samara stood up and said,

"And also to give us time to kidnap these two women."

Rosa and Camilla appeared, unconscious and tied with string.

Malisa wiped her tears, and before carrying Rosa on her back and leaving, she glanced quickly ahead of a gate to see...

Karsa looking directly into their eyes.

Malisa was startled and said in confusion,

"It's impossible that he could see us from there. Even Winson didn't notice us...!"

Karsa looked away and followed soldiers and others inside.

Samara said,

"Why are you shouting?"

Malisa fell silent, picked up Rosa, and said, "No, nothing."

After picking up Camila, Samara replied, "Okay, let's go before we're late. We're still at the beginning of the plan."

After they left, Malisa said to herself,

"Was I really imagining things, or was that man really looking at us?" His facial features weren't clearly visible, but I felt as if he was looking directly into my soul...
