Chapter 12 - The king and a mysterious noblewoman

After a day...

In Mali, the capital of Matala, in a white palace with 24 columns and a magnificent statue supporting a giant blue dome the size of the city of Jolan .

The green gardens and the palace fountains are visible from afar, with extremely luxurious decorations.

Inside the throne room, the walls were decorated with blue birds and a luxurious throne large enough for two people, made of Ether metal from the western continent.

A man in a blue robe decorated with white birds and white clothes with silver threads and a silver crown with blue gemstones.

He has sharp eyes, short white hair, and a small scar on his face.

The man spoke in a calm tone, "Is my kingdom about to fall? "

The name: Garthon Fos Atholichar.

Race : human.

The 99th king of the kingdom of Matalia.

Level : novic.

An old man entered, dressed as a servant and wearing simple glasses.

He knelt on the ground as soon as he approached.

"Long live Matalia, and long live its 99th king!" "

The king raised his hand in response to the servant, who stood up

and said, placing his hand on his chest

"Did you summon me, Your Majesty?"

While the king leaned on his hand

"What did you find in the case of the red pig? "

The servant replied in a calm tone

"In fact, Your Majesty, we discovered that the Red Pig was defeated by an unknown man with a wooden stick, not by the holy knight Sulia or a hunter A rank."

The king sat up straight, surprised by the subject

"Hmm, an unknown man? That's interesting. Defeating a man with the level of a warrior with a wooden stick that means that he is at least a great master, right?" "

Then the servant spoke in a tense tone

"In fact, Your Majesty, according to witnesses and prisoners, the Redpig took two potions that raise one's level, and he reached the level of an ancient master with one or two stars..." "

The king's eyes widened in shock.

"What?! Are you trying to say that an ancient master was defeated with a wooden stick?! Do you think I'm stupid?! I know that even a man at the level of a seven-star ancient master would not be able to do that."

The servant knelt down.

"No! Your Majesty, I would never dare. In fact, after a person reaches the level of an ancient master, the more powerful they become, the more stars they have in their body. The stars are vacuum reservoirs that act as an aid to tha vital organ sani , which transforms any atom into whatever the being desires, whether it be fire, ice, or even physical strength."

The king replied, "What are you trying to say?"

the servent ...

"What I am trying to say is that an old master with two stars is twice as powerful as an old master with one star, and an old master with eight stars is eight times more powerful than an old master with one star."

The king sighed.

"If that is the case, then that unknown man may be a three-star or four-star Old Master."

" Yes, Your Majesty," said the servant.

The king stood up and descended from his throne, heading toward a painting of a former king, the father of the current king.

"I want you to find this man and recruit him for me, Chief Servant... He may be the trump card I have been looking for to destroy the Black Fingers organization and its leader... Nolkan Martoni."

In the green plains between the Minton Mountains, located next to the coastal city of Jolan, Bulcan and Karsa were walking along the carriage road.

All along the way, Bulcan tried to strike up a conversation with Karsa, but unfortunately, Karsa seemed to be bad at conversation.

Bulcan looked up at the sky.

"The weather is beautiful today, isn't it?" "

Karsa replied with a serious expression.

"Yes."

Bulkan's face fell, and he said,

"Haha, the plains of the Minton Mountains are very beautiful."

Karsa's expression became even more serious than before.

"Yes!"

Bulkan seemed to get angry and said

"Look, there's a crow-human flying there with his children. Isn't that cute?"

Karsa replied even more seriously than before

"Yes!"

Bulkan muttered.

"Damn it, you bastard, say a complete sentence."

Then Bulkan looked at Karasa again and said, in a last desperate attempt to start a conversation.

"Do you like swords, Karasa?"

Karasa was silent for a moment and his eyes widened.

"No... I don't like them. Swords are scary..."

Bulkan was surprised by Karsa's words, which were unexpected coming from a strong man like him.

Bulkan looked at the ground and said with a sad smile,

"Yes... you're right, swords are scary..."

Karsa suddenly stopped, and Bulkan bumped into him from behind.

Bulkan was confused.

"Why did you stop suddenly, Mr. Karsa?"

Karza spoke.

"Is this normal or is it a real robbery?"

Bulkan looked up to see several bandits surrounding a luxurious carriage, while guards lay dead on the ground and a maid with green eyes, glasses, and black hair carried a sword to protect her mistress, who was behind her.

Her mistress had violet eyes, long black hair, and a purple dress decorated with jewels and black birds.

Bulkan shouted, "We must help them, Master Karsa!" .

He looked at Karsa and found him with an angry face, biting his lips until blood began to flow, and his golden eyes glowed with an intense golden void.

Karsa said in an angry tone,

"Those bastard bandits...!!"
