The next day.
Vaelkar and rose went to a barren area where a low ranked gate was located.
A D-ranked gate, 8 meters of diameter the appearance of shimmering portal. In front of the gate there was a hunters standing .
They were trying to recruit a two more hunters, because of the ranked difficulty.
All of them was a D-ranked hunters, however having more people would be the best, than going into the gate of a same ranked would be seeking death for them.
Vaelkar and rose walked towards the gate and she explained the gate ranked and the possible monster inside.
One of the D-ranked hunters walked to them and tried to recruit the two of them.
"Can this gate be conquered alone?" Vaelkar said and stared at rose curiously.
"It can, one must be higher ranked than the gate" Rose replied.
"So, Do you agree to join my team?" The warrior uttered.
Vaelkar accepted their invitation to join their group, which was really good for vaelkar to be with teammates to understand both the hunters and monsters.
"This is luka a knight, merry our priest, george a ranger and… Lucius our mage" The leader jerome introduced them one by one.
They greeted each other and proceeded inside the gate.
After entering the gate, they entered the entry zone which a short transitional space between worlds. Usually a tunnel-like.
This is where hunters passed through until they reached the Inner zone.
They walked through until they reached the inner zone.
A flashed of lights blinded their eyes. Vaelkar slowly opened its eyes and a new environment welcomed them.
A fresh breeze was flowing through the air and sniffed by their noses. The smell of nature was a familiar sensation as if they're on the earth.
"This is the world inside the gate… Interesting" Vaelkar thought and slightly smirked.
A forest like this was a perfect place for the beast to ambush without any fear because of the hindrances of plants.
"Be alert!! Don't go solo and move forward" Their leader shouted.
They ventured the forest and they noticed that there was no movement on their surroundings. Usually monsters would come out as soon as hunters appeared.
"Didn't you find it weird? I don't see any of them?" the mage said.
"Me neither" luka uttered as well.
"Isn't this a joke!! we came all the way here and even recruited this two!! yet we couldn't slay them" The ranger arrogantly shouting with his teammates even bad mouthing vaelkar and rose.
"You!! You are trying to say that we purposely approached you?" Rose couldn't control her anger and frustration.
"Am i wrong?… And this guy looks like haven't been into fights before a clueless bastard!!" The ranger said and stared at vaelkar while minding his own business.
The ranger noticed that vaelkar doesn't give him any attention and this made him frustrated and walked towards him.
"Hey, I am talking to you!! looked at… me"

A fying projectile passed through his head, the blood flew all the way to the priest, they were caught off guard and started to panicked and blood started to drip off the ground.
However they're leader shouted to formed an formation for the upcoming battle.
In the huge forest and towering trees a beast with eight-legged could be seen circling around the trees.
"It's the obsidian crawlers!! Damn it!! that's why we didn't find any beast, they climbed up to the trees" The warrior said while veins popping from his head.
"Lucius, turn then into crisp!!"
A warmth heat started to flow from his wand.
"Heatwave!!"
It pushes warm air outward. the temperature increased.
However, it didn't do much to the obsidian spider. A hard silk projectile from their abdomen started to hardened and headed towards the mage.
"Watch out!" Luka shouted as he swing his sword and blocked the hardened projectile.
A sighed of relief came up from the mage lungs. The priest healed they're wounds and stamina.
They kept fighting for their lives meanwhile Vaelkar and rose was at the distance, a group of obsidian spider surrounded them.
The obsidian spider's was a bit off, they felt an intense feeling that the being before them wasn't ordinary.
Through their multiple eyes they could see vaelkar as a dark silhouette, an embodiment of the unknown. In a flash Vaelkar with a drop of blood floated from his finger and penetrated their heads one by one.
Even with their tough silk couldn't withstand the blood.
On the other side, they encircled lucius the mage while he was preparing for an offense skill.
However, the warrior used a flaming punches on his burning knuckles. The beast started to back off but their determination was unmatched.
In a bit a shade darts a needles made from the shadow, strucked the obsidian beast that nearly killed them.
It bought them a few seconds and the mage finished his chanting.
[Fire lance] a piercing flame beam.
It penetrated the obsidian spiders and burned themselves to death.
Their completely exhausted from the battle, blood dripping from their wounds and [Sanctuary] a small healing zone that expanded a 5 meters, was casted by the priest to healed their wounds.
They buried corpse of their companion, and wished him to rest in peace.
The sky started to darkened and stars began to shine, they rested till they restored their mana.
"umm" merry the priest goes to rose resting place.
"Thank you! If not for you we wouldn't be alive right now and… I'm sorry george acted like that—" merry said with her lowered head.
Rose tap her shoulder.
"It's fine, it's not like I would take it to the heart, it's just that… He said something about Vaelkar being a clueless person" Rose said.
"That's why I wanted to apo—" Merry said with a saddened expression.
"And don't worry about it really. Since we are a team, we should do our best in the boss room" Rose added with a smile on her face.
Merry nodded.
In a couple of minutes.
They were all prepared to go to the deeper part of the gate, Where the boss lies in the boss room. One must defeat the boss to get outside the real world, If not they would be stucked forever inside.
They ventured to the deepest part of the forest. The forest was getting darker and darker.
[Glow orb] a floating light sphere casted by the priest guided them through the darkness of the forest.
In a distance a tall gate was seen.
"We have arrived to the boss room" The leader uttered a word while they approaching the room.
