A warm light that crawled through their skins and that could blind them any moment if they open their eyes without an adaption to the light.

A sound of creature chirping, the winds was gusting through the branches of trees with their wings and the chirping of the flying creatures moving around their ears.
Vaelkar opened his eyes with curiosity.
The warm light that glowed down the world seemed to not bring him any good.
His skins faintly turned red as he felt a burning sensation.
However, what greeted him when he opened his was a large bird like creature that sounded like a cute little bird chirping since earlier. An ugly like creature that doesn't suit the divine like world.
The large birds approached them.
Vaelkar with his blurry and burning eyes started to turned his gaze towards rose.
He quickly grabbed her and 'teleport' to a distance location.
/Thud/
They landed into the dark place and water flowing downstream.
Rose was clinging onto vaelkar arms tightly as he was frightened by the world's light.
She opened her eyesight then proceed to look for vaelkar. She saw was a pale grey face and a his eyes turned white like it started to get blind.
Her worried self immediately acted and pulled the weakened vaelkar down to the ground and closed his eyes shut with her hands.

The bird like creature squeaking out from their lungs with frustration. As they teleported from them.
Rose scanned the place with his darkness attributes. The dark place they were located was inside the cave, kilometers away from their previous location.
For days they stayed inside the cave.
Rose cared for vaelkar for days trying all the things to make him better to the point where she goes outside knowing that danger she will faced.
On the first day, she gotten her thoughts and courage ate her up. So she decided to take venture outside the cave to look for something edible If she didn't want to died with doing anything.
Slowly stuck her head outside the gate and compared to their previous location.
The light was not that bright and strong and It was more dimmed than usual.
Trees was looking healthy, she quietly walked out and gathered information on her surroundings.
Rose ventured into the woods and spotted a one meter small winged creature. Even though it was a small creature, its probably not that weak based on the fact that this gate wasn't normal.
For hours she was just trying to learned its habit. What she learned was every a few minutes after the winged creature ate the flesh of the same species. It will migrate to the next location of the dead winged creature.
And it will start hibernating for minutes to digest the food.
Then the chance of hunting it down rise. With the intellect of the bird it probably not that great comparable to the newborn baby.
The small winged creature entered it's hibernation and the area around tye creature started to darkened eating up the light on the area with the shadow.
Rose blended in the shadow and casted a shadow bind into the creature directly if it woken up.
The only thoughts of rose in her mind was to end it perfectly without alarming the nearby creatures in the woods.
Void sword appeared on the both of her hands. However, the moment it appeared, the winged creature sense it life was in danger.
It made rose startled. luckily, she casted an shadow bind in advanced.
She thrown her void sword in her left hand. She grasped her hand in the air and dark hands that could easily grabbed the size of winged creature appeared.
The void sword pieced through the beak, and it tried to make a sound but it was inevitable.
Rose rushed to the winged creature and 'fling' the sound of the void sword make with the her desperate wielder to slay the enemy.
It's head rolled over to the ground.
The dead body started to get swallowed up by the shadow.
Without much thought, she immediately returned to the cave quietly as possible.
/Growl/
An empty stomach growling begging for the food to be digested.
Rose doesn't know how to make a fire without a lighter. However, Thanks to her long term memory she remembered the channel that she accidentally switched on the television.

On the second day, rose woken up then goes out once again for the materials he needed to make a fire.
Nearby the cave the material she needed was nowhere to be found. The leaves of the trees were not easily be ignited by the fire.
A light material, leaves or anything that could burned even the slightest fraction of heat.
Once again, she ventured into the depths of the woods. Then she saw various leaves that wasn't quite heavy material but its durable enough to make a fire.
An easy way to the dangerous world doesn't always come easily. A squeaking sound from the winged creatures heard nearby her location.
Rose was alarmed and hid behind the trees.
One of the winged creature approached with its foot and winged tucks on its body where the location she was in.
Rose covered her mouth and her heartbeat started pounding.

Void sword appeared on her hands she was ready to end the battle with confidence.
Although she wasn't confident if they wouldn't notice battle. Her heartbeats started to pound heavily, the head of the winged creature passed by the tree.

A loud squeaking that could burst the earing of any animal heard from the distance far from rose.
The lone winged creature immediately turned its head back to the source of the noise as if they were calling them all.
They spread their wings and flew over the sky.
A sighed of deep breath coming out from rose. She immediately returned to the cave.
