Chapter Twenty-Nine – The Fourth Prince II
Esme's POV
The Fourth Prince. Uncle nodded when he knocked. It made me wonder if he had very low standards for them—that knocking before entry got approval.
The Prince walked in, and I stretched my neck a little to see him. We heard a thud, and I held Uncle's gun even though he had no reaction.
A large black-sheathed sword leaned against the wall, and a figure stood beside it. He slowly turned toward us. My jaw dropped. A seven-foot-tall figure, slimmer frame, almost identical to Grandus.
His silver-white hair looked like webs of a spider glistening under the sun, lying effortlessly across his wide shoulders.
His porcelain skin was complemented by the red necklace around his neck and bold red beads encircling his slender waist. His pupils were very dark but didn't look threatening.
