Each step the world seems to slowly fade.
Each blink, could be the end.
"Mom, I dont think we'll ever meet again... even in death. As they say, even gods die."
Sitting beside a tree with a cup in his hand he slowly took a sip.
"blugh~! So bitter!" the taste of expensive coffee didn't sit quite well with Sunny.
"Sorry Mom and Dad. My... my drink kinda fell on top of you both." As he stare into his coffee, he is reminded again that he is alone now. There is no afterlife.
What remains is to not bother anyone who still cling to life.
With how little time he had left, he quickly walked towards the inner city filled with heavy defenses, knowing the safety will be assured after turning into a disaster he continues to move forward.
The call of the spell felt like a lullaby without a sound. Weakness in his hands and legs slowly pushed him to the ground. He was already within the inner city, now just aiming to reach the nearest police station he found while trying to find Rain.
'I'm soo close.' he thought to himself as he suddenly saw a young child with pale skin and black hair trying to help him walk.
'Rain!'
"Damn you! Go away!"
The urgency of his voice felt like a whisper, the world seemingly deaf to his screaming.
'No! No! Not here! why are you here!'
Sunny pushes Rain as far away as he could with what little strength he had left. The chaos that is happening as his world slowly fade. Her figure visibly shaken by his words and action.
" I... I was... just trying t-"
"No!"
'I refuse to fade and die!'
He couldn't let his sister die because of himself.
'Pain! I need pain to stay awake!'
Too weak to incflict pain to himself he was slowly being devoured again by the hopelesness of losing a family. As his mind tried to find a way he was greeted by a group of familiar faces.
They where clearly here for him, with clear intentions. Before any of them could say anything, Sunny launched himself into them.
From the outside, Sunny was violent. Like a drunkard swinging his fist to anyone near.
Rain who is nearest to him was terified, too scared to walk away even falling dawn beside him. Her act of kindness, thinking she could help had brought her trouble. While Sunny was being bombarded by grudges.
For a few minutes, Sunny managed to stay awake.
Each incoming fist, Sunny endured. They couldn't care less of the child beside Sunny.
'Damnation is more effective than coffee, I guess.' Sunny laughs at the thought of how ridiculous and dire the situation has become.
They couldn't hear his warning, that he is infected. Rain beside him suffered small scratches trying her best to stand.
A squabble that didn't last long, but eventually they left. The bruises he gained wasn't as visible as blood covers his face.
Despite the hesitation, Rain helped the broken boy, dragging him into the police station. From there, the master from before came by. As she sees the kid from before, realizing who it was she remained to watch over him.
A small girl walks to the Master, shy to face such a beautiful woman.
"Ma'am Officer, please look after him. He looks extremely hurt."
"I will young Lady, thank you for bringing him here."
Meanwhile, the boss of the gang realize what had happen too late, seeing her children fighting among each other. She was deeply disappointed at herself and hurt by what has become.
Quickly visiting the police station she realize the severity of Sunny's body. Having multiple miscarriage in the past, she became strict. The scars that was left behind became her reminder to cherish life which led to her helping her little brother form the orphanage.
A week later the local gang fell apart, it's leader infected by the spell naturally lost her life and a master was immediately dispatched to end the disaster that unfolded after her death.
Without knowing their names, they become lost in time never to be remembered.
Within a dream, a temple slave was chained to a tree, tortured for misconduct.
