Alone, Sunny walks back into the outskirts. To the place he has born and raised.
Aimlessly wandering, despite no clear goal in mind he unconsciously returned back into their old abandoned home.
If it could even be considered a home, there's walls and a bed at least. Luckily, a small device was left behind, it carried various entertainment from music to poetry. Unfortunately, Sunny didn't have the luxury to constantly buy new batteries.
He turns his attention to a corner of the room, vivid faces of two children playing as though it was just yesterday.
"happy... she was happy." Sunny described how she was living well with her family.
"What is purpose? A responsibility? duty? I guess it comes down to what one desires to do." Questioning himself, he quickly followed with an answer.
The place was small just a few steps he was already outside.
Looking at the street, he realized he couldn't remember the names of the people he's been with.
"I never listened that time. Soo many times I never listened." The fear of remembering, not wanting to know who they are. The people of the orphanage, the members of a local gang, they seem like a stranger.
"Without Rain, it feels I'm truly alone now."
Unbeknownst to Sunny, a few members of his group was searching for him.
Back in the shelter, the gang leader had mixed feelings.
'Was it a mistake to separate Rain from Sunless...?' A thought she had never forgotten. The loving couple who adopted Rain even gave a generous donation helping the children.
She clearly knew what was his desire was but never thought he was this desperate. Anger couldn't form as she understands his position as an elder sibling, but she knew Sunny will be at least reprimanded for his actions. The Boss already saw him as her child, knowing what he had done felt that much harder to judge him.
Although the boss haven't decided what to do with Sunny, a few members already decided for themselves.
After Sunny had left the orphanage, few children already knew he was missing, the adults was in chaos loosing the funds meant for the orphanage.
The suspicion lingered, as their jealousy continue to rise.
Who was Sunny in the eyes of other children in the orphanage. A crybaby. Yet despite that he was brutally diligent. Always volunteering to clean the hallways and other facilities, not knowing Sunny wasn't there to be praised.
Even now, being part of a gang. Always the diligent one. The moment they found sunny being with a government official, they knew Sunny was definitely hiding something.
People in the same circle began gossiping. Until a clear alibi has been formed, backed by other people who had also seen Sunny accompanied by a government official.
A few days after returning to the outskirts, Sunny still remained in his old abandoned home.
He understood his current situation, being infected.
"I'm gonna die... alone in two worlds."
A long silence of loneliness, yet no tears followed.
