Chapter 28 - Chapter 28 High Expectations for Amon

Chapter 28 High Expectations for Amon

The three members of the Ammon family were simultaneously summoned into the carriage by Aroha.

Young Khonsu, still a child, nestled in his mother Mut's arms, grinning at Aroha.

Aroha smiled back and looked at Ammon: "You two have now started from the spiritual realm, comprehended the soul, and formed spiritual bodies. Is the path ahead clear to you?"

In terms of personal talent, this couple was indeed far superior to the priestess.

They all studied the path to transcendence together. Amon founded the spiritual path, and Mut followed suit, achieving spirituality during his ten years of wandering.

However, the priestess is still only at the soul stage.

If it were truly a matter of elevating someone to godhood, Aroh would certainly prioritize this family of three.

"Later, perhaps we will need to seize the authority of the gods and become gods from among mortals."

During his years traveling, Amon has also been thinking about this matter.

With his current extraordinary power, he can contend with the priests of those temples, but compared to true gods, he is still no match.

Unless, of course, he can also become a god.

However, the ascension of a human to godhood has never occurred in countless years, and Amon has yet to find any clues about it.

"Don't rush, you can think about it slowly in this world, and you will eventually find a way."

"I have high hopes for the three of you, and now that I am about to pass away, I will give you a gift."

"A gift?" Upon hearing this word, Kons clapped his hands and laughed, as if he were very happy.

"Our teachers have taught us for many years, and we are extremely grateful. We dare not ask for any more gifts."

Amon naturally refused. He knew very well that his teacher was poor, and he would never accept a gift.

Upon hearing this, Aroha laughed a few times: "This is a gift, and also a responsibility."

"If one day in the future, the belief in the god 'Puta' spreads among the people, you will need to step in and erase this belief, restoring 'Puta' to its original form."

"Furthermore, those who are desperate will fall into the underworld in the future if they do not have your talent on the spiritual path. They will need you to rescue them from the underworld when you have the strength to do so."

"We're going to the underworld to rescue people?" Amon was at a loss for words. How could he, his mother, and his two children possibly go to the underworld to rescue people?

Are we giving our own teachers a little too much credit?

Let alone the powerful Hades or other gods, even the path to the underworld itself—if they stepped into it without the guidance of the Jackal God, they would all meet a violent end.

Aroha smiled without saying a word, then touched the foreheads of each of the three family members.

The light of enlightenment from the divine realm entered the depths of their souls through Aroh's fingers.

In an instant, Amon, Mut and Kongs all felt warm all over.

The couple seemed to see what they had been searching for for countless years appear before them at that moment; their son, Kons, pointed to the moonlight shining through the gaps in the oxcart and smiled wistfully.

Soon, the feeling disappeared, and Kons fell asleep, while Amon and Mutt felt a sense of loss.

They didn't grasp that fleeting feeling.

"I have given you the things. I hope that in the future you will be able to fully understand their mysteries."

Araha waved his hand, signaling them to leave.

The couple were puzzled, but they still left the oxcart with their child in their arms.

At that moment, they vaguely realized that their teacher, "Butt," was no ordinary person.

However, Amon thought that if he could find a path to extraordinary achievement, his teacher, whose wisdom far surpassed his own, might be able to find another path to extraordinary achievement as well.

He did not think of Arahu as a deity.

The gods of this world have left a very bad impression on Amon.

What Arakh gave them was actually a ladder to godhood.

This path to godhood does not directly help them become gods, but rather leaves them with the light of enlightenment, enabling them to awaken their true nature.

The name Amon, and the name Aroha, seem to suggest that he is no ordinary person.

He wanted to see if, with only the light of enlightenment remaining, Amon could achieve something unprecedented in this world—ascend to godhood in human form!

As for Mut and their son Khons, they received this benefit entirely by following Amon.

In fact, for Aroh, being granted the light of enlightenment that represents the essence of the divine realm is more precious than directly helping him become a god.

If they can become gods, they can directly become subordinate gods under the throne of Arah.

It should be noted that, to date, the only deities that Aroha has taken a liking to are the goddess of magic Isis and those from the Heavenly lineage.

Ordinary deities would want to appoint Alaka as a subordinate god, but Alaka would worry that there are not enough seats under his divine throne and would be unwilling to give them up.

"I wonder how many seats can be accommodated under that throne?"

Although the path to becoming the supreme god of Aroh is nearing completion, the chaotic mist beneath the divine throne between the two divine realms has not yet completely dissipated.

He didn't know how many seats were inside, nor did he know if he could add more seats.

To figure this out, we may have to wait until he also develops the uses of the other half of the divine realm.

"The divine realm on the right is the place of enlightenment, the path to godhood, and the kingdom of preachers. What, then, is the divine realm on the left?"

As Araha was pondering this, he suddenly felt something strange in his body.

Or rather, it's not that there's something wrong with the body, but rather that the entire external world has changed.

He was startled to find himself no longer on the cart pulled by the Apis bull, but in a special place, another world.

As the sun sets, it bathes the entire world in a magnificent glow, creating a breathtaking scene.

What he saw was a landscape of tranquil beauty, with mountains, rivers, and houses.

The world is of unknown size, but Araha saw humans, wild beasts, flowers, trees, and so on. The gods that exist outside also exist in this world.

But for some reason, Aroha always felt that a deep sense of gloom was hidden within this tranquility and beauty.

At that moment, a figure emerged from the seemingly eternal sunset in the sky and gradually approached Aroh.

This is an elderly man with long, flowing hair, wearing a double crown representing Upper and Lower Egypt, holding a throne and scepter, and smiling at Arakha.

"Ra?"

Aroh had seen the old man's appearance once before; it was the same sun god Ra he had seen when he was first born into this world.

However, compared to the last time I saw him, the God of Ra seemed to be in much better condition. Although he was old, he did not show any signs of decline.

It was nothing like what Aroh had seen last time; it was almost like a mortal suffering from dementia.

"I am Fira, or you may call me Atum."

Upon hearing this, Arhat immediately understood.
