Chapter 34 - Chapter 34 The Goddess of Love and Beauty Seated on a Lotus Throne

Chapter 34 The Goddess of Love and Beauty Seated on a Lotus Throne

"Amon, why are you stopping me?!"

The desperate man became somewhat agitated and expressed his dissatisfaction with Amon.

Amon was actually a little confused. Although the woman was incredibly beautiful, the teacher had said that he had a date with her, so why did the desperate man insist on stopping her?

"You don't understand anything at all!"

The Desperate Man sat back down by the fire, and seeing Dionysus's ambiguous smile, he felt a surge of dissatisfaction, snatched the wine bag from Dionysus's hand, and gulped it down.

Dionysus, completely unconcerned, burst into laughter: "Desperate one, how do you intend to write today's 'Wanderings'?"

The despairing man remained silent for a long time before saying, "That was a woman who was full of doubts about the future and came to the teacher for guidance."

"Although the teacher was in poor health, he respected women and specially asked us to prepare a tent so that he could comfort her overnight."

Amon, who was standing next to the despairing man, listened to the story and asked in confusion, "Since you know the situation, why did you still want to stop him?"

The desperate man remained silent; whatever happened, he intended to write it this way.

"This works?"

Dionysus was speechless. When desperate people record their bad words and deeds, they always claim that they want to leave the most truthful record for posterity.

Now, it's the teacher's turn to meet the Egyptian goddess late at night, but he has no intention of understanding anything, having already thought through the reasons, process, and outcome.

"The weather is about to change."

Mi, who was standing next to him, seemed to have drunk too much and mumbled something nonsensical.

The Desperate Man and Amon looked up at the sky, where the bright moon still shone, showing no sign of change.

But Dionysus, like Mi, did not look up at the sky at all.

Because high in the sky stood numerous deities, no longer merely watching, but their true forms descending.

Not long after Dionysus arrived in Egypt, he was approached by the goddess Nephthys, who told him to behave himself.

After that, he always followed behind Arakh and never had the chance to get to know the many gods of the Egyptian world.

Of the dozens of deities high in the sky, he could only roughly guess a few based on their outward appearance.

For example, Anubis, the jackal god; the cobra goddess; and the crocodile god, elephant goddess, and frog goddess, among others.

This world is strange; even if gods in other worlds possess beastly forms, they never show it and only appear in human form.

The gods here, on the other hand, have much better human forms, yet they insist on displaying an appearance that is neither human nor beast.

"Is it really just about offering comfort?"

High in the sky, Horus, the Pharaoh's guardian, watched Sekhmet enter the tent with eyes as clear as a deep pool.

The disciples of "Putta" in the fire below do not know who Sekhmet is. Do they, and the gods, not know?

Sekhmet and his wife Hathor, the goddess of love and beauty, were two sides of the same coin.

The former Sekhmet, who instilled fear in all living beings, could not be trusted by the world to continue using that name. She was the goddess who held sway over love and beauty, the goddess of music, and the goddess of dance.

That's why the new god name Hathor came about.

As night fell, the goddess Hathor, having dressed herself up specially, entered the tent where the "God of Miracles" resided.

The gods began to speculate about what would happen inside.

Almost all the gods standing high in the sky looked at Horus with strange eyes, so it's no wonder Horus's expression was not pleasant.

"Horus, only a few days left."

Anubis, the jackal god, advised his brother that at this moment, they must hold back and not interfere with their father Hades' rebirth.

"Don't worry, I understand. They're just having a casual meeting to discuss some things."

In any case, Sekhmet's divine power had completely enveloped the tent, and no god knew what was happening inside.

Horus then assumed that his wife and the god of miracles had something important to discuss.

If any deity disagrees, then let him see for himself whether the Worth Staff in his hand is truly sharp.

However, a god, disregarding the staff of Voss in his hand, let out a mocking laugh: "Ha ha, I've heard that Hathor, the goddess of love and beauty, has never been with Horus since she married him."

"It seems that Horus, like his father, lacked the essential artifacts that a male deity should possess, which led Hathor to choose the god of miracles, Aroha."

The voice came from the distant desert; it belonged to the storm god Set.

"Seth?!"

Horus angrily demanded, "Do you want me to banish your authority from the world?"

Seth scoffed: "Do as you please. I also want to see if you, the new king representing humanity, have enough power to overthrow the Nine Pillar Gods system."

"Horus, don't get agitated. Let's deal with Set's problem together after Father is resurrected."

"Regarding your matter, those four children in the underworld are the best proof."

Anubis spoke not only to Horus, but also to all the gods.

He seemed to be telling the gods that Horus's important place had always been there, a place where children could be born.

The gods dared not speak. Set was one of the nine Ennead, and Horus was a young chief god who had once defeated Set.

Only the Sovereign and other powerful gods are qualified to intervene in their struggles.

It's best to keep your distance from ordinary deities to avoid being accidentally harmed.

······

"Goddess of love and beauty, we meet again."

If the Desperate Men and Amon were to see this from inside the tent, they would surely be astonished.

At this moment, "Puta" was no longer the frail old man they had seen, but rather a young man, just like when he first entered Memphis.

"Lord Arakha, I wonder if I can satisfy you?"

Hathor looked at the young god who often claimed to be "underage," his smile utterly alluring.

"Of course, God Atum knows me well. He knows that I have no other ambitions than to possess more beautiful goddesses."

Hathor was well aware of what Aroha had said, and he simply listened and let it go.

If he had no other ambitions, why would he go to such great lengths in the human world, making such a trip that keeps the gods constantly concerned?

"Alright, we don't have much time in one night, let's get down to business."

Aroh felt that after decades of walking among humans, he was almost becoming a "saint".

It is essential for him to rediscover his true self before he passes away.

Preaching to the world is his "work" to become God's "work"; enjoying himself, indulging in pleasure, and playing around, not being a beast of burden, is the "life" he should have.

"May the goddess of love and beauty sit upon this lotus throne."

Aroha took out the primordial lotus and used his divine power to transform it into a yellow lotus platform, large enough for the two of them to perform their rituals.

Hathor, the goddess of love and beauty, with eyes as clear as water, glanced at Aroha and then gracefully stepped onto the lotus throne, discarding the shoes beneath her jade-like feet
