Chapter 29 - Chapter 29 The Reminder of the Twilight Sun

Chapter 29 The Reminder of the Twilight Sun

Atum represents the sun god of twilight.

This is the divine body that Ra, the sun god, was reborn from during his last aging and rebirth; it could even be said to be a symbol of Ra in some respects.

Soon after its birth, it possessed power surpassing that of all other gods.

Even the gods of wisdom, Thoth, and order, who were born from him, were powerful rulers from birth, comparable to Shu, the god of air; Tefnut, the god of rain; Nut, the god of the sky; and Geb, the god of the earth.

After Ra reappeared, Atum disappeared and no longer appeared before the gods.

Unexpectedly, he chose to appear before Aroh at this moment and pulled Aroh into his special world.

Compared to the other main god realms he had seen before, this one was clearly more complete. In fact, apart from the twilight in the sky, Aroha could not feel any difference between it and the real world.

"A sovereign kingdom?"

I haven't seen my "good brother" Seth for years, and I wonder what he's been up to lately.

However, Aroha still remembered some of the things that Seth had told him.

One of them is how a deity should continue to grow after becoming a supreme god.

On the one hand, the chief god needs to build his own pantheon and perfect his authority; on the other hand, he needs to make the divine realm evolve into a complete kingdom.

When a nation is fully established, it can be considered an independent world.

Aroha felt that this might be an independent world.

However, he compared what he saw before him with what he saw in Yawi's Paradise Mountain and found that the path Yawi was taking was not about building a complete country and forming an independent world.

"It seems that there is more than one path above the main god. The paths taken by the sun god Ra and Yavi are completely different."

As Aroha pondered this, Atum suddenly smiled and asked, "You have already given Ra's true name to the Lord of Eden, haven't you?"

"The Lord of Eden?" Aroha was taken aback at first, but then immediately realized that this referred to Yawei.

"He claims to have no name, and considers himself an eternal God, in an attempt to make other gods like us call him by that name."

"But this name is something His messengers and believers can use, but we gods must never use it, otherwise we will only be helping Him to walk the path of self-existence and eternity."

"The Babylonian god-king Marduk called Him the Lord of Eden. I think this title is very appropriate. You can call Him that from now on."

Atum, the sun god of dusk, seemed quite concerned about how Aroh addressed Yawi and even reminded him of it.

Araha nodded: "I will not call Him the Self-Existent One."

He was unaware of the divine paths that even the most powerful deities followed.

However, when I met Yawei before, I sincerely refused to call her "the self-existent and eternal God," and even directly named her "Yawei," so it seems that I did not make a mistake.

"Atum, do you already know that I have received your divine name?"

Atum laughed indifferently, "The true name is the essence of a god. Ra's true name is passed down in the world he controls. How could he not know it, and how could I not know it?"

He seems to intentionally view himself and Ra as two different individuals.

"However, I don't know whether you gave your real name to the Lord of Eden."

Clearly, Yawei's level was beyond what he or the sun god Ra could fathom.

Aroha didn't hide anything and replied directly, "I gave it to you."

Anyway, Yawei hasn't mentioned it, so we can't let the sun god Ra know about this.

"It doesn't matter if He gives it to us. If He wants to use His real name to deal with Ra, we might be able to give Him a surprise."

Atum smiled gently: "I don't know what benefits the Lord of Eden promised you that made you willing to exchange my true name with Him."

"If you used this real name yourself, you could achieve almost anything you wanted in the human and underworld realms of Egypt. What a pity."

Aroha smiled and said, "That would only be possible if the supreme god of Egypt before me were willing to temporarily grant him authority."

Previously, he had never perceived the kindness of the sun god Ra towards him.

More importantly, the currently weak Aroh wants to side with the strong and seek to gain benefits.

"Should I still be able to use this real name?"

He suddenly realized that passing on the true name of the sun god Ra to Yawei did not mean that he no longer had this true name; it was still known to him.

If the sun god Ra, or the god Atum before them, allows, they can also borrow the omnipresent power of the sun.

"It's no use." Ra, the sun god, shook his head. "Rabbit left a restriction on this true name, which can only be used by the last god to obtain it."

"Isis has an ambition that none of her younger generations possess. It is within Ra and my expectations that she will abandon her real name and break free from our influence on her."

"We originally thought she would pass on her true name to Horus, but you obtained it by using the resurrection of Osiris as a condition."

"Now, it has fallen into the hands of the Lord of Eden, and the gods, humans, and livestock of this world will suffer calamity as a result."

Upon hearing this, Aroha shook his head and said, "This calamity originated from the Hebrews and has nothing to do with the true name."

"Whether you have a real name or not, disaster will strike."

Atum suddenly sighed: "Although you have obtained the divine office of Egypt, you should have heard from the Lord of Eden that you were originally a god from another land."

"From an outsider's perspective, do you think the Hebrews deserved what they were treated in Egypt?"

This question left Araha speechless; he didn't know how to answer it.

On the one hand, the Hebrews brought this upon themselves and should pay the price for their actions;

On the other hand, neither the Egyptian gods nor the human regimes were particularly good at assimilating foreign peoples.

He was unwilling to offend either side, and the matter had little to do with him, so he did not answer Atum's question.

"It seems that the Lord of Eden offered you considerable benefits, making you now an Egyptian god, yet you are unwilling to stand on Egypt's side."

Atum sighed again, but did not blame Aroha for it. Instead, he said, "Whatever deal you make with the Lord of Eden, be extremely wary of Him."

"The path this deity has taken is the most domineering and the most unique I have ever seen in all the chaotic worlds."

"In His pantheon, only He can be called God; other deities cannot even retain the title of God."

"Given His ability to bewitch minds, if you have seen Him, you need to think carefully about whether you have already been bewitched by Him."

Atum, the sun god of dusk, immediately alerted Arakha with his long speech.

Previously, he had used the "eyes of all worlds" to pierce through illusion and seemed to have seen the true nature of Yawei.

His divine realm was shaken, and his heart was filled with turmoil. He developed an unprecedented desire to possess Yawei, whose beauty surpassed that of all gods and humans. Was he being "bewitched"?

Aroha would never have had such a thought before, but now he hesitated
