It was truly serene....if not for the sound of a carriage moving and a man shouting while hitting the horses to run faster.
The carriage was large, spacious enough for ten men to sit in it. However, age and time had clearly reduced it to ruin.
It's wooden body was spilt, old and broken.
Though, in some places the damage was worse as jagged holes ran through it some even big enough for a fist to pass through.
Yet, it wasn't being used for exactly travelling right now.
Inside the carriage, multiple children lay strewn across the floor, their small bodies limp and unmoving.
All of them were unconscious.
Some, even were so pale that their skin looked almost translucent in the dim light, stretched tight over sharp bones.
Their shallow breaths were the only sign that they were still alive, fragile and trembling, as if even the act of breathing demanded more strength than they had left.
Suddenly two butterflies, came inside the carriage dancing with their own erratic rhythm. One was black, while one was white.
They hovered above the children for sometime, then moved towards a particular boy in the carriage, as if attracted to him.
Reaching him, the white butterfly sat on the boy's nose, while the black one continued to fly above him.
The boy looked seemingly better than the other children, as if he was new to the collection.
However the deep patches of blue and black on his whole body, while a deep cut on his forehead just above the eye shown that the new recruit wasn't exactly an easy one.
An unknown amount of time passed, while the two butterflies stayed around him and other children.
Then, finally the boy's eye's fluttered open and the butterflies also moved away.

Zyrus's eyes fluttered open, as he woke up with a deep gasp. However that movement of his body getting up in a hurry, was a severe mistake.
"Agh." He grunted.
Pain flared through his whole body, so severe and harsh, it felt as though someone has beaten him till his death. While, his head ached from the whistling sound going on in his ears.
"Oww, damn what the fuck is going on today?" He couldn't help but curse.
It was truly mind numbing.

However, before he could do much a faint sound resounded in his whole head. He opened his eyes and looked as the translucent screen that was still in his front.
"Huh, all that was real?" It was a stupid question, he wouldn't have felt that much pain of it wasn't but he couldn't help but ask it.
Calming himself, he first focused on where he was and as he did once again...he froze.
"Wh-what?"
The air smelled foul and dirty, as he had to do his best to not hurl. Looking around him, he found himself in a vehicle, moving with astonishing speed, while unconscious children lay beside him.
"The hell is going here...no..hah..no. Let's, let's calm down first." He said to himself breathing deeply while clutching his head also hoping for the pain to calm down.

The chime of something once again entered his ears and this time he didn't ignore it. He looked at the translucent screen.
