Gu Yue stepped forward silently, her face a mask of cold aloofness. As she released her Spirit, the very atmosphere in the classroom shifted. The elemental energy of heaven and earth swirled toward her like a whirlpool, and two purple rings manifested at her feet.
"Another one with thousand-year rings," Tang Wulin whispered, his eyes widening. He felt the gap between himself and these two geniuses wasn't just a distance; it was a canyon.

"Teacher Wu, I'm afraid I cannot fight a traditional duel," Xu Xiaoyan said, shaking her head with a polite smile. "I don't have any combat-type skills yet. I am purely a Control-System master with a lean toward support."
"Oh? What is your soul skill then?"
"My First Soul Skill is called Star Wheel Chain. It's similar to Brother Xie Xie's power—it's a forced control. But I can only maintain it for one second."
