The door slammed shut behind Jamie after walking inside, he stood there for a moment with his palm still pressed flat against the wood, chest heaving, heart beating like he'd just sprinted up flights of stairs.
"Asshole." he muttered.
He kicked off his shoes with unnecessary force, one of them skidding across the floor and bumping into the wall.
Jamie dragged a hand down his face and moved deeper into the house, he tried to block out the memory of what happened some minutes ago away from his head but the images he very much did not want to replay in his head chose that exact moment to resurface anyway.
Jamie shook his head sharply as if that alone could make the imposing memory fly away.
He trudge upstairs, craving to get rid of the wet clothes sticking to his body and a nice hot shower to rid the cold.
He did that immediately, stripping out of his damp clothes and tossed them into the laundry basket then he hopped in the shower.
