Jamie sighed as he walked out of the school, finally done with the day's classes. He could finally go home and get some rest, he'd do his assignments later.
Talking about assignments, he halted in his steps, his laptop was still with Jett. He stood there at the front of his faculty building, staring blankly at the wall as the realization settled in.
"Fuck." he muttered under his breath, pinching the bridge of his nose.
Of all the stupid, inconvenient moments, this had to be the worst one. He could already feel the headache coming on, throbbing behind his eyes. He needed that laptop. Assignments, notes, work, everything was on it.
The problem wasn't the laptop.
The problem was who had it.
Jamie exhaled slowly, fighting the urge to groan out loud. The problem now was, even if he wanted to get in contact with Jett, he didn't have his number.
Then he remembered he could ask Matt. "Just ask Matt." he told himself as he typed quickly.
