Chapter 17 – White Hunting Mode
The story begins exactly where the previous chapter ended.
The MC tries to unleash the full power of the Ring, but suddenly…
he freezes in one place.
No reaction from his body.
No response from the Ring.
His eyes are open, yet he feels empty inside—
as if his soul has gone somewhere else.
Meanwhile, the monsters keep advancing.
Lisa's attacks have no effect at all.
No matter how strong her strikes are,
the monsters don't even flinch.
They begin to laugh mockingly.
"So this is the legendary weapon everyone feared?"
"There's nothing special about it."
"What a joke!"
Their laughter fuels Lisa's anger.
Filled with rage, she launches a full-force attack—
BOOM!
But still…
the monster barely takes any damage.
For the first time, fear appears on Lisa's face.
Shaking, she screams—
"Master! Wake up!
If you don't wake up now… everything will be over!"
Even the sword begins to tremble in fear,
staring helplessly at the MC,
as if begging him to return.
Inside the Ring…
Just like the moment when blood fell on the Ring before,
Navi suddenly finds himself in another place.
"Where… am I?"
He realizes he is standing inside water.
He calls out to his sword—
but there is no response.
Navi is shocked.
"What has been happening to me these past few days?
I don't understand anything anymore…"
Then—
The System Window's voice appears.
"Master… I'm here."
Navi's eyes fill with tears.
Relief washes over his face.
"Where were you?!
Do you have any idea how worried I was?"
Tears roll down his cheeks.
"I was terrified…
What happened to you? Why were you gone?"
The System Window falls silent.
For a moment… it says nothing.
Then, softly—
"It was because of a monster…
that my condition became like this."
Navi asks nervously—
"Where are we right now?"
The System replies—
"We are inside the Ring."
Navi's heart skips a beat.
"Inside the Ring?!
How did I get here?
I was about to fight!"
The System answers—
"Your soul has entered the Ring.
Your body is still outside."
Panic spreads through Navi.
"What if something happens to my body?
What if I die here as well?"
At that moment,
his attention is drawn to five statues standing nearby.
"What… are these?"
From them, he can clearly feel the power of the Ring.
The System replies—
"I don't know either, Master."
As the monsters outside approach those statues,
inside the Ring the statues begin to glow in different colors—
🛑Red
🔵 Blue
🟡 Yellow
🟠 Orange
⚪ White
⚫ Black
Navi notices a broken blue statue,
cracked and damaged.
Then his gaze shifts to a colorless statue,
emitting an overwhelming, terrifying aura.
The moment Navi touches the white statue—
⚡⚡⚡
He loses consciousness.
Back outside…
A monster steps closer to the MC,
raising its sword to strike—
Suddenly,
a violent surge of energy erupts from within the MC.
Blinding white light engulfs his body.
His clothes begin to transform into pure white.
A powerful armor forms around him.
The monster freezes in shock.
The MC's aura becomes so intense
that even the air feels heavy.
Slowly…
the MC opens his eyes.
His eyes shine pure white.
The sword lying far away
flies directly into his hand.
The monster stumbles back in fear.
Tears of joy fill Lisa's eyes.
As the sword reaches the MC's hand,
it too transforms into white light.
The moment feels otherworldly.
The MC speaks calmly—
"Now… the real hunting begins."
Then—
"Hunting Mode… ON."
And he walks straight toward the monster.
