Chapter 20 – The Red Awakening
Our story begins exactly where the previous chapter ended…
The MC's ring was still not activating.
This was the biggest problem for him, because the ring was the source of his greatest power.
Because of this, the MC was extremely disturbed and anxious.
Elsewhere, we see monsters searching everywhere, trying to find the MC.
By this time, the MC had healed a little.
With great difficulty, he was finally able to stand and walk on his own feet.
Every step was painful, but his mind was clear—
"I must activate this ring… no matter what."
The MC places the ring on a large stone.
Then, without hesitation, he cuts his hand
and begins pouring his blood onto the ring.
Slowly, the entire stone turns red with his blood.
As the blood continues to flow, the MC grows weaker and weaker.
He can barely keep himself standing anymore.
Still, he does not stop.
With sheer willpower, he continues feeding his blood to the ring.
Suddenly—
The ring reacts.
In the next moment,
the MC finds himself inside the ring space once again.
The same place…
the same statues…
The MC speaks quietly,
"Last time, I touched the white statue…
and I was sent somewhere else."
He looks at the white statue—
cracks have now appeared on its surface.
Then his gaze shifts to the red statue.
Before, the red statue was cracked…
but now, it looks completely intact.
The MC thinks—
"Can this statue heal me?"
He slowly walks toward the red statue
and the moment he touches it—
The MC loses consciousness.
Outside
The instant the MC touches the red statue,
his body begins to scream in agony.
Terrifying pain spreads through him,
as his body starts healing at an insane speed.
Then—
We see the MC again,
surrounded by a violent red aura.
A creepy, unhinged smile forms on his face.
A beam of red light shoots straight into the sky.
All the monsters notice it
and turn their attention toward the rising light.
Suddenly—
A loud, insane laughter echoes directly inside their ears.
The sound is so powerful
that the monsters clutch their ears in pain.
Even an SSS-rank monster struggles to endure it.
Hearing the MC's laughter,
all the monsters begin climbing out of the abyss.
The wolf monster is less affected,
but even it steps out to see what is happening.
The MC's voice echoes—
"I am back."
The entire abyss floods with red aura.
The monsters are completely shocked.
What is happening?!
The wolf monster watches silently.
The red aura begins spreading,
slowly covering the earth itself.
The monsters can see nothing anymore—
only laughter surrounds them, coming from every direction.
Suddenly—
The MC leaps powerfully and emerges from the abyss.
He looks delighted
and starts laughing like a madman.
He says—
"So many toys to play with…
now the real fun begins."
He starts counting the monsters.
"119 monsters… impressive.
Today is party day."
The wolf monster can clearly feel Navi's power.
It knows exactly where Navi is,
yet it remains calm—
perhaps out of fear of that overwhelming power.
Navi's voice alone makes the monsters tremble.
In an instant—
The MC appears right in front of a monster
and slaps it hard across the face.
With a twisted smile, he asks—
"How was that?"
The monster doesn't even get a chance to react.
The MC moves from one monster to another,
slapping each one
and asking the same question—
"How was that?"
He is openly mocking them.
Excluding the wolf monster,
the MC sends all the other monsters flying into the air.
Then the MC turns around,
looks directly at the wolf monster, and says—
"I'll play with you later…
first, let me enjoy them."
The monsters are completely horrified.
The MC has lost all control now.
His eyes glow a deep, blood-red color.
Then—
Using his red aura,
the MC creates a weapon.
The weapon takes shape—
a massive, terrifying hammer.
Holding it,
the MC looks even more deadly and unstoppable.
