Chapter 15 – The Weapon That Spoke
Our story begins exactly where the previous chapter ended.
The MC had returned to normal, but his mind was in complete chaos.
He couldn't understand what had happened here.
He looked around—
destruction everywhere, broken rocks, shattered ground, and traces of terrifying power still lingering in the air.
Then his eyes fell on his sword.
The same sword…
that had once refused to even let him touch it.
But now—
It was in his hand.
His heart skipped a beat.
"The sword that wouldn't let me touch it…
how is it in my hand now?"
Panic crept in.
He shouted with all his strength,
"SYSTEM WINDOW!"
No response.
Again—
"SYSTEM WINDOW, OPEN!"
Nothing.
Seconds passed.
Then more seconds.
Still no system window.
His face turned pale.
"Did something happen to the system…?"
Suddenly—
WHOOSH!
A bright light burst out from the sword.
Energy gathered and took form.
A soul appeared—
floating in the air like a living presence.
"Yes, Master. You called me?"
The MC dropped the sword in shock.
CLANG!
"W-Who are you?!"
The soul bowed slightly.
"I am the soul of this weapon, Master."
The MC felt like his mind was breaking.
"This has to be a dream…"
He slapped himself hard.
SLAP!
It hurt.
The soul spoke calmly,
"This is not a dream, Master. This is reality."
His breathing became heavy.
A weapon…
was talking to him.
And calling him Master.
He shouted,
"Enough! Be quiet! Let me think!"
After taking a deep breath, he said,
"Alright. I have one question."
"Yes, Master," the soul replied.
"First of all— stop calling me Master. It feels really weird."
The soul looked confused.
"Then what should I call you?"
He replied,
"Call me Navi."
"Understood… Navi."
He asked,
"How long was I unconscious?"
The soul answered,
"There is no night here. Only daytime exists, so it's hard to tell the exact time."
He sighed.
"Forget it."
Looking at the destruction, he asked seriously,
"Who caused all this destruction?
What happened after I lost consciousness? I want the truth."
The soul replied,
"Two powerful monsters fought here. That is why everything was destroyed."
He immediately asked,
"Who won?"
After a brief pause, the soul said,
"Both died. One of them self-destructed."
(The soul did not tell him the truth—
that everything was caused by him.)
Exhausted, the MC said,
"Fine. You rest for now.
My own mind is already shaking. I need to think about what to do next."
Then he remembered something.
"By the way… what's your name?"
The soul said proudly,
"I am known as the Hunting Slayer Sword."
He looked straight at her and said,
"That's a terrible name."
The soul froze.
"I'll give you a new name—
Lisa."
"How does Lisa sound?"
Her eyes lit up.
"I like it very much!"
"Yes— Master…"
He glared at her.
"…Navi."
"Yes, Navi."
In his mind, he wondered,
Where did my system go…?
He asked,
"Before, you wouldn't even let me touch you.
Why do you accept me as your master now?"
Lisa replied,
"Before, I had a different master.
I was full of anger, so I didn't allow anyone to touch me."
He nodded.
"Tell me something about your previous master."
She lowered her head.
"I'm sorry. Rules don't allow it."
He accepted it without complaint.
Once again, he tried to summon the system window—
but nothing happened.
Worry began to grow.
Lisa asked,
"Navi… where are we going?"
He answered,
"Home. This is where I live for now."
When he arrived—
The cave was completely destroyed.
Only ruins remained.
The scene shifts—
When the MC had fired his arrow into the sky,
its power was felt by countless powerful beings.
A Hell Lord sitting in hell.
Gods and goddesses.
And many other terrifying existences.
Their faces were not shown—
only their shadows.
Then—
The boss of the Shipkali monsters stood up.
His voice echoed with authority.
"I want that human's weapon…
and the human himself."
He commanded—
"Send 200 monsters."
"Bring me the weapon…
and bring that human alive."
Among those 200 monsters,
every single one was SSS Rank.
A portal opened.
BOOM!
And they all began moving toward the MC.
