Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 - Class Election

Hiro stepped out of the train, his hands in his pocket as he headed towards UA. The weekend came and went and it was the start of his 2nd week as a hero course student.

Walking on the streets, a nefarious smirk flashed across his face as he wondered what Midnight's reaction would be after seeing him.

Recalling her disheveled appearance when he left, he suppressed the blood surging towards his lower body- preventing himself from getting a hard-on while walking.

Among the girls he had been with, she definitely had one of the hottest bodies. Her stamina was amazing too- being a hero and all. His only regret was that they didn't take the final step, with her sticking to this bottom line even when under extreme pleasure.

Hiro sighed. Oh well, there was plenty of time left before he travelled to another world. Worst case scenario, he'd come to her after he dropped out. By then, the student-teacher relationship between them will no longer exist and she'd no longer have any mental obstacle.

As for the things they talked about before she offered herself up, honestly, he was already prepared for it.

Before taking the UA entrance exam, he already knew he'd go through a strict background check when he passed- especially with the potential he would show.

He didn't bother to thoroughly hide his hedonistic history, so a careful search by Principal Nezu would have him discover that and then be confronted about it.

But he didn't care.

The things she said about being expelled and sent to juvie- that was clearly bullshit meant to frighten him.

With the strength he showed at the entrance exam and the Quirk Assessment test, it was impossible for the highly intelligent principal to kick him out of UA for such a petty crime. Instead, his default thinking would be to 'guide' him into the correct path.

In fact, in addition to the Quirk 'side effects' excuse he gave, he had also prepared another reason regarding his frequent absence during his primary and middle school days.

Though maybe because he hadn't skipped classes yet, he wasn't confronted regarding that.

As he neared the school gate, Hiro heard several camera flashes and mixed voices.

Right in front of the entrance, a large crowd composed of news reporters from different channels gathered. They ambushed all entering students- asking questions about All Might.

He had no interest in getting involved with any of that. With a step, his body disappeared, silently passing through the crowd like water through rocks in the river, and arrived inside the campus.

"Good morning, Aizawa-sensei!"

Hiro greeted his grumpy homeroom teacher who stood behind the gate. Aizawa momentarily glanced at him with his dead-fish eyes, moved his chin in what one could barely consider as a nod, and continued to focus on the crowd in front.

Hiro shrugged and leisurely headed towards the classroom. Their first class was homeroom. Since the teacher for that was still here, he had no need to rush.

Halfway through the journey, a loud crash sounded behind him.

"Was it today?"

Hiro murmured as he glanced back at the metal barricade where the gate once was- a sign that the UA security gate had been activated.

His blood began to boil. If nothing goes wrong, he'll have his first meeting with the League of Villains this afternoon.

Though before that…

"Today, you'll pick the class officers."

Standing in front of class 1A, Aizawa announced in his usual lazy tone.

"You should already be familiar with each other after a week, so choose the most suitable for the position. Wake me up when you're done. And hurry up."

With his instructions finished, Aizawa slinked back to his sleeping bag and lay down on the floor to sleep.

"Ohh! I want to be president!"

"Me! I'll definitely lead the class well!"

No sooner had he closed his eyes, that his words finally registered and the class burst into a cacophony of shouts.

Unlike regular courses where the class president is just relegated to do mundane tasks, being the president of the hero class shows that one has the ability to lead others- a quality required to be a top-ranking hero.

When applying for an internship or joining a Hero Agency in the future, having such a history in their resume, especially in a school like UA, increases their chances of being accepted.

"Everyone, quiet down!"

Iida's shout caused the class to temporarily stop and turn their attention to him. He coughed, adjusted his glasses, and continued.

"Being the class president is a heavy responsibility that concerns the whole class! Such obligations, I believe only someone with a similarly powerful ability and trust from his classmates could shoulder it."

"Thus! I propose Ryugamine, the strongest and most trusted in our class, to be the president!"

Hiro gazed up from his desk with a raised eyebrow.

He had just been idly paying attention to the ongoing discussion, waiting for the voting phase to come and then cast the vote on either Iida or Momo. He didn't expect the script to suddenly go off the rails- and hit himself.

…was it because of his assistance to Iida during the Quirk Assessment Test?

"Iida, thank you for recommending me. However, I have no interest in becoming the president. I think it's best for everyone to just vote on who they think is the most suitable to become class president and then tally it up. What do you think?"

Hiro turned to the class and asked. Most of them eagerly nodded in approval, feeling happy that the very likely candidate to win had backed out.

As someone who planned to drop out of UA after achieving his goal, Hiro had no interest in becoming the class president. Instead, he was more looking forward to the upcoming encounter this afternoon.

The voting process began. Everyone wrote the names of who they think deserve the position on a small piece of paper, which was then collected and tallied in full view of everyone.

In the end, Momo became the president with 4 votes, and Midoriya the vice president with 2.

"Iida's so serious about this."

Hiro mused when he saw the 0 right beside the Engine boy's name.

Based on their personality, Momo and Iida are the most suitable to become class president.

But he chose to vote for Momo in the end; because he knew Iida voted for Midoriya in the canon, causing Midoriya to have 3 votes and leaving himself with none.

Now, possibly because Midoriya failed to stand out in Battle Training, Iida opted to vote for Momo instead- who was ranked 2nd in the Quirk Assessment Test and had shown higher intelligence in class.
