Subaru didn't know what to do, he talked to the clown Roswaal. Because Ace had told him he shouldn't.
[That clown man, he's a villain alright.]
He already read the man's mind. It made him yawn, the clown's goal to revive a certain someone, a witch that Subaru has met before.
'Can't you tell me what is his purpose?'
[You'll figure it out, well eventually it will show itself to you.]
Without giving nothing to him, Subaru had his head down. He wasn't so easy to work with, but he was grateful for learning to bend fire and earth.
"Subaru are you alright?"
There a young man named Otto came to him.
[You know that man may have been part of that big headed blonde guy.]
Dropping a hint, Subaru expression turned sour. He didn't expect that, but should he even trust Ace?
What if he is messing with him.
'He must be lying.'
[You do know I can hear your thought.]
'Ah...'
[It's fine if you don't trust me, i'm just a random being you summoned....though I'm on your side even if you believe it or not.]
Ace told the truth, even if he was summoned he'll be on the person's side. Except maybe for villains, he might help even villains commit world conquest. But, if he does something to displease him or even insult him. He'll just torture the bastard and have him be trapped in the hell he created.
Villains summoning would be interesting, he'll just match their attitude. Maybe different if it's a pretty lady. Small time criminals would be amusing, Ace just left it to fate in that world.
Subaru had to rethink, and knowing how he got his new powers. He shouldn't have doubted him.
'I'm sorry...'
[Good, I may have had you be forced to do something you don't like.]
His voice chilled Subaru.
"Subaru?"
He snapped out of it hearing Otto call him out again.
"A-Ah sorry!"
He scratched his head, making an awkward laugh.
"I'm fine."
Responding to his earlier question.
"Are you still going to help Emilia on her trial?"
"Yeah..."
He didn't know now, but he would want to stray away further from Otto. Those words from ace resonated within his mind.
"I'll help Subaru"
"It's fine, I got something to do."
Subaru left making Otto surprised with his demeanor. Looking at Subaru back disappear, he didn't know why Subaru acted that way.
As he was now lingering in the backyard, he was going to walk away and train. As he did so a blonde hair boy followed him.
'Lets see what you do here.'
He thought to himself, he would only step in for when he is close to dying.
Subaru breathed in and exhaled as he got into his fighting stance. He raised his hand upwards, the ground shook as rocks floated above. Then he let them hit the floor, as he saw a boulder size rock. He concentrated and he quickly was able to lift it.
Subaru smiled, only for the boulder to fall quickly. Subaru then punched the air, as this time more bigger flames appeared, scorching the tree. He then moved around, as he opened his palm and shot fire balls, but they were not to strong to leave destruction.
Subaru gasped, feeling himself getting drained.
"Shocking, I can't believe you hid this from everyone, you're not to weak but definitely you can do something like that is shocking!"
He heard a voice, Subaru recognized it, he gritted his teeth. As Subaru was caught at the wrong time.
He felt tired a bit, but still was raring to go.
"Garfiel..."
"Oh boy! I don't see how you escaped, but no matter I'm here to protect the sanctuary and I'll kill you here and now!"
Garfiel shouted as he had quite the mean look and the pressure coming from him made Subaru flinch.
"Just seeing you makes me gag, if I kill you here things would settle more easier."
Garfiel got closer and closer, he wanted Roswaal dead. But he had the strength, the people to stop him.

"Master."
"Hmm?"
Roswaal turned to look at Ram who was looking at the window.
"Do you want me to follow Subaru?"
"No need, it's best to let him be for what happened to him."
Roswaal knew who kidnapped Subaru, but rather much hid the fact as the village scoured for him.
"Alright."
Ram bowed, as her twin sister entered with sweets and a cup of tea.
"Thank you Rem~"
Rem bowed, as she sat it on the table next to him. His mind still thinking on how to manipulate Subaru.
