Ace watched as Subaru tried to lift up small rocks, he could see the visible sweat, they floated to his height.
Then they instantly fell down.

Subaru paled, as he wasn't giving a break.
He got into a stance, quickly he punched the air as a small fire gust appeared. To disappear right after, Ace enjoyed this. He never thought teaching would please him.
He rather much teach a beautiful, sexy woman with giant tits and butt. Then again, he wasn't so picky not since scattering his books for summoning for any random person. More so any anime character to stumble upon him.
Ace only would be summoned by anyone from the anime/manga/manhwa. Whether they're the MC or some cannon fodder. They had to be connected tot he story.

Subaru gritted his teeth, he was exhausted and his mental was low. He could finally use mana, but he needed to train more. Ace was the devil, his voice was cold and truthful. He wasn't making it easy for him.
Ace watched him go on, as he sat on a tree branch. He was invisible, his existence unknown to this world. Only which his summoner Subaru can perceive him.
He rubbed his chin, as he had seen his memories. He has met these witches of sin. Especially quite the crazy woman Echidna.
But, there was a woman with white hair, a girl called Emilia. Someone Subaru wants to help and has a small crush on.
Ace saw the others, a clown looking guy, two maids, some other maid with blonde hair. That clown guy was suspicious just like that young man with the green robes, he was a merchant.
Then he saw a memory of that blue maid killing Subaru. He was pointed as some spy, some boy trying to take Emilia out.
It was already shady enough, the girl Emilia had a connection to all. As he then saw that woman again, darkness clouded her wearing a robe of darkness. He compared it to Emilia, she was similar in looks but wasn't her.
Then he saw it, Ace chuckled everything was interesting in this boys life. She met what seemed to be Emilia 400 years ago. But his memories were not his, they were that of another "Subaru" that met that girl.
Meaning, these memories, as he saw him die again and again not tens of times. He died hundred of times, from many monsters, witches and other beings. He saw it all, these were memories of other Subaru's timelines.
A world where Subaru met her, but it seemed she couldn't save him. Appearing again and again, but this time finding this Subaru. He entered and his first death, she had cursed him. returning by death, something that had been worked on to keep him alive. To not have this Subaru die again, without her saving him.
"Satella huh...."
He heard that named being said by Subaru in the first life. She was different from Emilia even if they look the same. A different timeline where Emilia didn't exist.
"Fascinating."
Ace had used his powers, he can even appear in his dreams. To even be able to spy on what had happened to the person.
Even read the break forth and see blocked memories, even bring back those memories that were once erased from existence.
With such power anyone would think he was omnipotent, and he was with no limit whatsoever. A man who cannot die, who cannot loose.
Even with a single thought this world will disappear without a trace. He is only limiting his power, if he unleashed even a percentage this world will cease to exist. The people not strong enough will die unable to withstand his presence.
That's why Ace put limiters on him, so whenever he gets summoned his limiters adjust to that worlds power level.
He was thinking in tapping in Satella's mind in Subaru's memories. But he even without tapping into the future and having the information present. He already had a feeling he'll meet her. This curse if he tried to take it off, it sure would make her appear.
It's just when should he do it, Ace wanted to see Subaru progress in getting stronger. Even if his talent was subpar, his will to keep on going was commendable. Not like Ace once was like him, and he made his own talent, he became who he is now.
[Stop slacking boy, you'll never protect anyone without trying harder.]
Subaru gritted his teeth, he was right but was poking his feelings. To also train him to not act so impulsive when someone says something insulting to him.
"Haaa!"
He then made a big rock form into a point shape object. Moving in his stance, he pushed his hand forward and the sharp rock pierced the tree nudging in there.
*Crack*
Subaru look at Ace, who was still sitting on the tree to vanish.

Ace wasn't going to sugar coat his words, or try to act like some hypeman. He was going to be cold, and blunt to tell him the truth.
Without breaking his spirit, he already showed he had spirit.
Subaru felt down, but his next words had made him slightly happy.
[It's been hours, you should go back]
Subaru nodded, as he wasn't hungry as he had hunted a giant boar for him to eat. He didn't enjoy being rammed against, but he was granted regeneration after he defeated the giant monster boar. That had tore his left arm, Ace was letting him know that he shouldn't loose focus when loosing a limb.
His methods were brutal and unhuman, but it will strengthen Subaru mind and body.
