"S-Subaru!?"
A white hair beautiful woman who was sipping "tea". Felt the feeling of her domain being breached, to find Subaru here without her calling to him.
"Echidna?"
"How did you enter?"
She didn't know how this was possible. She didn't sense her own domain being breached. The domain showed a grassy endless plain, with an artificial sun and blue skies. It was calming and peaceful.
"I..."
Echidna looked at Subaru with curiosity.
"It was me."
Ace appeared, but this time he didn't release any pressure.
"Who are you?"
Echidna wasn't scared, but she focused on Ace. He appeared just like that, she didn't sense him.
"Someone Subaru summoned, and someone that will show you something amazing."
Echidna then became skeptical, but he radiated mystery and she was intrigued to what he was talking about.
"Call the other witches."
"You know of us?"
She was alarmed, because Subaru shouldn't have been able to expose information about their existence. Well, even if he did he'll be branded an enemy. People wouldn't trust him, and would kill him for being part of the witches cult.
"Indeed, now call them."
Ace wasn't going easy on Echidna being pretty. She trembled, as she felt a dark sensation creep to her soul.
"Alright!"
She paled, not believing what she felt and what was happening.
Subaru looked at this in the sidelines.
"We'll have them witness something drastic Subaru."
He didn't know what that meant, only to be silent and wait for the other witches to come.
*Shimmer*
In no time, the witches were appearing one by one, with calmness. Only to feel a monstrous presence. Looking at Ace's direction they all were shocked, and quickly went on guard.
Almost all sins were here, the witches didn't know who he was. Echidna was also on guard but kept a neutral face.
"Thank you all for coming."
"Who are you!?"
A blonde hair girl with a side ponytail shouted. She clenched her fist, even the one beside her showing off a lazy presence wasn't looking so lazy.
"Well, that should be it."
He released the pressure not affecting Subaru. The witches sweated, they never felt this sense of powerlessness, even Satella the witch of envy felt like it paled in comparison.
"You all will witness something world changing."
"Just who are you!?"
The blonde witch shouted with anger. She didn't back down and so didn't the other witches. Even though it was a dream world. They felt affected, their instincts were yelling at them of danger.
"Not human..."
"Bingo, Daphne witch of gluttony."
He then named all of the rest, from Echidna, Minerva, Carmilla , Typhon, and Sekhmet.
"Anyways, for my identity isn't much of importance."
He ignored answering their question. He then walked around Subaru with his hands on his back.
"Subaru, for what you shown me today, I'll grant you one opportunity."
Subaru gulped, he felt like this was going to be something he needed to think thoroughly.
"I want you all to witness this."
None of them knew of Subaru's return by death curse only the girl or witch of Envy Satella. He then placed a hand on Subaru head, and Subaru was nervous.
Only for him to gasp, as his face went pale. He felt something etched into his soul that it was fighting to stay in.
Only for a dark ball of darkness swirling in Ace's palm. Instantly, the atmosphere became dark, the dream had one more person intruding.
"S-Sattela is here!?"
"Envy..."
"Why did she come here...?"
Edchidna then looked at the orb, and at Subaru to Ace. She was putting everything to pieces.
"Subaru was a connection to the witch of envy?"
"Correct."
As he saw Satella appear closer and closer.
"You, You, You....don't take Subaru away from me, don't take Subaru away from me, don't take Subaru away from me, don't take Subaru away from me, don't take Subaru away from me."
She oozed with a dark presence, Ace felt it and everyone did so too.
Darkness enveloped thew dream world, as hands of darkness came from the ground. Surrounding her as she was cloaked in her darkness.
Insatantly, they tried to grab ahold of Subaru.
"Not so fast."
"Eh!?"
Subaru fell on his butt, seeing shadow hands come for him. Only for them to stop, Ace looked at Subaru.
"What I have in my hand Subaru is a curse placed by that woman, the witch of envy Satella."
Subaru trembled, he seen her call out to him, to save her. But he didn't know of her connection with him.
"Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die!"
Like a broken recorder, the obsessive side of Satella. She had two sides the one that loved Subaru with a more stable mind. but right now the obsessive one was showing off.
The dream world trembled, as it was going to start to collapse.
"Oh no!"
"The dream world is being destroyed!"
*Crack*
The skies showed cracks like it was glass. Envy looked at Ace with murderous intent, that it suffocated the witches slightly.
"Tch, I don't think we can do anything here even with her."
Sekhmet grunted as she wasn't going to do much even with Satella being sealed, she was this strong to overpower them in the dream world.
"We can't just let this happen!"
MInverva gritted her teeth, in a fighting stance. As hundreds of shadow hands went for the witches.
"Fueeee~!!!"
Carmilla was scared as she wasn't going to do nothing here.
"Not hungry anymore..."
Daphne became serious but a grin spread on her little face.
"What did you do?"
Echidna looked for Ace for a response.
"We are not winning!"
Typhoon already saw this as a defeat.
"See for yourself."
The witches defended themselves from the shadow hands. Ace looked at Satella with a smirk.
"Kill, Kill, Kill, Kill, Kill"
She muttered as a she moved her hand out and a shadow sphere consumed Ace. He just walked through the shadow sphere without trouble. His face still having the smirk.
*Fwooosh*
"Subaru...."
Satella felt her chest pierced, she shouldn't had been harmed physically, she can nullify it with her cloak of darkness.
Now she felt his hand through her chest, as she coughed up blood.
"It's not your real body, but I can do damage to this form of yours."
When he pierced her chest, he looked through her memories and found out her true purpose.
"All for him, your way of showing love is quite crazy even for the reasonable side of you Satella."
He could see the obsessive version wane, as he could see the other "satella" eyes become weak and clear.
Her real body sealed away, also coughed up blood. Ace would kill her right here, since doing such things to his summoner is not something he can forgive.
He is the devil, a monster but can also be a reasonable man. The witches were shocked, they saw the dream world being repaired.
They saw him damage Satella somehow. They all trying to figure out his identity and his purpose.
"You see this witches, I'll show you something grand!"
He let the curse ball float in the sky and everyone gazed at it. Subaru didn't know what to say he felt hurt seeing Satella get hurt. But the next thing out of Ace mouth made him rethink of his life choices.
"Subaru this ball, you know it all to well.....return by death, a curse that she gave you."
"!!"
Subaru trembled seeing him point at Satella, all the witches blinked perplexed.
"A curse to go back in time after death, you suffered a lot but these deaths you suffered are more than what you currently have."
"W-Wha-"
Before he could say anything, Ace snapped his fingers and memories of other "Subaru's" appeared and they all suffered and the first one met Satella instead of Emilia. Now he died and she stumbled upon a power that no being should mess with.
The witch factor of envy, she took it to find revive Subaru. Then it showed how she went to different timelines to save those Subaru's and they died. Causing her mind to break, her to be consumed by the factor of envy. More evil, more of a monster and in this timeline she took half the world down with her.
All of Subaru's death's the same but so different.
Subaru then gasped, as those memories were engraved into his very being. Tears started to stream down his face. He saved Satella in his first life now she wanted to save his. But his emotions were distraught.
The witches were able to see those memories. They were frozen, Ace was an unknown being to them. But he was now someone who was put as a threat in their minds.
"Here and now Subaru, seeing all of that I give you these two options."
He paused and looked at him straight in the face, now showing no emotion as Subaru still cried. He felt the pain of what other Subaru's went through.
"One, you either continue this life and grow stronger with my help."
"Or...."
"I'll return you back to your world, you'll forget this ever happened as I erase your memories, you'll be given a gift my be too."
Subaru looked at his hands, they were shaking as he was sad.
"Suba-"
"Silence."
He shut Echidna's mouth and while doing that he silence all of the witches. Making them freeze on the spot, unable to escape the dream world. They were forced to stay, it was impossible to do but he was doing it. A higher threat than Satella was here.
"Do not test my patience boy."
He walked around Satella soul form.
