Subaru trembled as he heard Garfiel in his beast form roar. Then for some reason that fear vanished slightly, as he remembered the presence of Ace. Who was literally being right in front of death.
Subaru slammed his foot on the ground as the cracks went forward and a giant rock spike was formed. Garfiel jumped back, he eyed the attack as he then lunged forward. Slashing with his huge claws, Subaru backed away instantly.
*crack*
The trees were cut down, Subaru then used that hole to slam his foot again, as he punched the air sending a decent size flame ball.
Also 3 spikes came from below. Garfiel was then scratched by one spike and hit by the fireball. But the wound wasn't even much.
"Annoying!"
He was there in Subaru's face, and Subaru quickly created an earth shield. As Garfiel slammed his paws at him, sending Subaru crashing through multiple trees. Subaru coughed a bit of blood the impact was strong.
"Argh!"
Subaru got up, he grunted in stinging pain. He saw Garfiel run at him, Subaru concentrated again, getting his bearings. He breathed in and exhaled, he waited for Garfiel to get closer.
*Thud*Thud*
Garfiel run made the ground quake, as he showed lots of killing intent. Now he was close, feet away and Subaru launched his attack.
*BOOOM*
A striking earth hand slap struck Garfiel on the side. He went wide eyed unexpected of the attack. Crashing onto the trees, but he got up and was even more angrier.
"Shit!"
*Fwooosh*
Subaru manifested the flames and controlled them as he sent a mini like flame arrow that pierced one of Garfiel's legs. He growled in pain, only for his wounds to heal.
"Oh..."
Subaru saw how Garfiel wasn't taking enough damage and well. Garfiel ran at him again, with burning rage.
*Crack*
Subaru tried to run but he was caught up by him. Only for him to make another earth shield in the last second. Which Garfiel broke through this time, slashing a good chunk of Subaru's right arm.
*Swooosh*
*Thud*
Subaru was launched again, as he screamed in pain.
"Aaaaaah! It hurts!"
His vision was getting blurry, blood splattered across his clothes. As blood left his mouth and nose. He looked at his arm, he felt fear again starting to seep in.
*thud*thud*
The steps were slow, but he felt the ground tremble.
Subaru felt him near him, as now he was face first.
Garfiel growled and roared as he moved his paw up and slashed down at Subaru. Subaru deidn't have enough training yet, he wasn't ready to go against Garfiel.
A blinding light glowed from Subaru's necklace.
*wooosh*
He disappeared, Garfield destroyed the ground, as he turned back to his human form noticing him disappearing into a blinding light.
"Subaru!!"
He yelled his name, as Garfiel wasn't done with him yet.

Subaru walked slowly seeing the light, as he walked up in a stone like structure. He gripped his arm injured, as he grunted in pain. He didn't know how this happened from fighting Garfiel to being in some unknown place.
'Ace where am I? Help please...'
He turned to the one person that he summoned.

No response, Subaru gritted his teeth, as he got to the light. He saw a snowy environment everywhere he saw it was snow.
'Whats going on here? Ace help'
He weakly muttered the last words, he walked with whatever energy he had through the snowy ground. Wanting to know where he was at. Subaru then walked not to far to see a village and it looked abandoned but he went to see if he can get help.
He entered a big shack only to see piles of clothes everywhere. Bunch of gatherings of people, but not a single soul was here.
He looked around and around, he found no one, looking through rooms didn't lead to nothing.
"Ugh!"
He collapsed to the ground, he was in pain and he looked at his arm, it was slowly healing back. The blood was stopping, it made him thankful for this blessing.
It wasn't fast regeneration but it was something to definitely be grateful of. Subaru waited a bit till his arm healed, and when he did. He quickly went to walk away from the village to see if he can find any clues to where he was at.
He was now in the middle of nowhere, he looked around.
"Nothing...I found nothing."
He felt tired, he wanted for all this to end.
Then he saw something small coming to him.
"Rabbit?"
He didn't know why it was here, but it looked cute up close. As it looked at him, moving it's little feet to him. He had the urge to pet it, he was lost and needed something to keep him from loosing his mind.
*crunch*
Subaru didn't even react fast enough, as his eyes widened in terror. He saw his arm get sliced in half, the rabbit munched on his hand. Looking at him innocently as it was normal with now glowing red eyes.
"AAAAAAHH!"
He fell on his butt, as he looked around to see not 2 popping up but hundreds. Multiple bunnies popped up all with the same small horn on their heads.
He was going to conjure fire, but they were to many.
'I-I can't!'
He breathed heavily, he was going to die.
[You lost the will to fight to quick.]
Instantly, the bunnies all exploded. Ace appeared in person, as he looked around to see the bloody mess. He looked at Subaru and snapped his fingers and his hand came back.
"You disappoint me."
As Ace grabbed one bunny that trembled in fear, it tried to escape and Ace made it float to him. With his hands in his pockets, Ace looked at the bunny.
"Well, such mistakes are bad to make, should've been on guard Subaru."
He quickly killed it with a thought. It became ashes, as Ace looked at Subaru who still trembled.
"I'll have you make a choice, I wouldn't care what you choose."
Ace then became particles and he spoke in his mind.
[We'll go do this in those witches domain.]
Subaru surprised, but he should know that Ace knew of the existence of witches.
