The moment Spopovich and Yamu took off running, Shin straightened up, all calm mask broke, and said the words everyone was already thinking.
"We must follow them. Immediately."

Vegeta smirked. "Finally. Something interesting."
Piccolo nodded once.
Gohan, still shaky but standing, clenched his fists. "I'm coming."
I sighed deeply.

We followed their energy across wastelands, over mountains, into the middle of absolutely nowhere.
Sure enough, carved into the ground was a strange stone structure, half buried, pulsing faintly with dark energy.
"That's it," Shin said. "Babadi's lair."
Before anyone could say anthing.
I raised my hand.
"Ben, WAIT" Piccolo started.
"Nah"
I charged a ki blast.
Just raw, overwhelming, problem-solving energy.
"Let's skip the dungeon crawl," I said cheerfully.
And fired.

The blast obliterated the lair.
Stone vaporized. Ancient walls collapsed. The entire structure imploded inward, leaving behind a massive crater that looked like the Earth itself had been punched in the face.
Dust billowed everywhere.
Goku blinked. "Hey, why did you that for?!"
Vegeta stared. "…You idiot."
I raised a finger, and before I could respond.....
laughter echoed from the crater.
High-pitched.
"Oh-ho-ho-ho!" a shrill voice cackled. "Fools! Absolute fools!"
A small, floating wizard emerged from the dust, grinning like he'd just won the lottery.

Behind him, something far worse began to happen.

The ground trembled.
A massive circular seal carved into stone began to glow.
Cracks of purple-black energy spiderwebbed outward.
Shin's eyes widened in horror.
"No… That energy…!"
Babadi laughed harder. "The power of your attack was exactly what was needed! You have unsealed Majin Buu!"
I stared at the glowing circle.
"…Huh, Neat."
Vegeta snarled. "You absolute id-"
The seal exploded.
Smoke poured out.
And then...
Majin Buu rose from the crater.
Pink.
Round.
Smiling.
Looking like bubblegum ball given legs and EVIL.
Goku stared. "Huh! He looks kinda good to eat!"
Piccolo deadpanned. "Do not say that."

Buu stretched, yawned, and looked around.
"Buu awake?" he said happily.
Babadi clapped his hands. "Yes, Buu! Eat you all!"
Buu tilted his head.
"Cool"
I said, as I raised the same hand I'd used on the lair.
Shin shouted, "be carefull, Majin boo is un-killable, as he heals th-
I fired.
A precise, concentrated blast of god-empowered ki slammed into Majin Buu before he could even blink.
There was no dramatic scream.
No regeneration, that can save him.
POOF.
Pink smoke.
Gone.
The smoke drifted away on the wind.
Silence.
Shin: "what the fu-

Everyone froze.
Goku blinked. "stop that, ben, some of us came to have fun"
Vegeta raised a brow. "That's it?, the great Majin Buu, can't take a hit."
"You should know" i smiled.
"Says the guy that couldn't take a hit, and died to me, as least you and Buu can relate to something", Vegeta signed.
Piccolo slowly turned his head to look at Shin. "what now?."
Shin stood completely still.
Eyes wide.
Mouth open.
Babadi stopped laughing.
Very abruptly.
Babadi: "oh....no"

Babadi looked around wildly.
"N-No! That's impossible! Buu can't be destroyed so easily!"
I shrugged.
"Yeah, well. Turns out overwhelming divine energy beats ancient evil bubblegum."
Babadi backed away. "W-Wait! We can talk about this!"
I rubbed my forehead.
"Look, man," I said tiredly. "I really don't have the patience today."
I charged another blast.
Babadi screamed. "WAITTTTTTT!"
I didn't.
The blast left nothing behind.

Wind passed through the crater.
Birds chirped somewhere far away.
Goku scratched his head. "So… is that it?"
Vegeta looked almost offended. "I came here for nothing."
Piccolo sighed. "I don't know whether to be relieved or concerned."
Shin slowly turned to me.
"…Thank.....you?"
I smiled sheepishly.
"No problem, i always hated the Buu Saga."
Everyone stared.
Shin looked at me,"what....?".
Looked down, and looked back up,"...what...?

Ten minutes later....
Shin finally sighed. "I… suppose the threat has been eliminated."
As shin bowed, "the universe will forever be great-full, and i personally thank you ben"
I gave him a thumbs up.
Vegeta folded his arms. "Next time, warn me before you take all the fun out of it."
Goku grinned at me. "You suck, Ben!"
I rubbed the back of my head. "Heh… thanks, i try my best"
Shin looked at me one last time, equal parts fear and respect in his eyes, as he and kabito leave.
