In the home of the Fushiguro family, we can find a peculiar white snake sleeping on her tree. This snake is simply called Rika.
Despite her size almost being as big as a fully grown anaconda, she is in fact an albino rat snake.
She doesn't do much during her day-to-day life, simply existing and sleeping on her tree, waiting for her next meal to arrive.
Thanks to the Fushiguro family, Rika has grown quite lazy. She barely moves from her tree and only ever interacts with her owners.
But today was a rather special day. Why, you ask? Simple—because today is exam day for the many candidates applying for UA High.
Thanks to this particular day, many of the parents leave their homes unattended and completely defenseless, making it the perfect time for criminals and villains to steal any belongings they may come across.
Like right now.
Three men were currently picking the locks of the home of the Fushiguro family. This didn't take them long, as after only a few minutes the door finally opened, allowing them inside.
Once they were inside, the criminals began inspecting the interior of the house before quickly noticing the tree that housed the sleeping Rika.
One of the men, being all too curious about the rather large reptile, slowly began to approach her to try and steal her.
The other two, not really caring much for animals, began looking around for anything valuable to steal.
"Hey, big guy," the man said slowly,
continuing to approach the snake.
But as soon as he spoke, Rika awoke.
Her bright red eyes immediately locked onto the man approaching her, and without wasting time, she activated her quirk.
(Rika the snake—one of her quirks is called Fear Monger. Once you lock eyes with her, you'll be trapped inside your own mind with a monster you created.)
The man began to scream in terror and panic as his worst nightmares came to life, trapped inside his own mind and forced to deal with the demons of his own making.
And of course, thanks to all that screaming, the other two began to quickly run back towards their friend and immediately saw him screaming on the floor, trying his best to rip out his own skin from his face.
"What the hell?" one of the men spoke before looking around and locking eyes with Rika.
Her quirk activated once more, causing him and his friend to fall to the ground screaming, as they too were trapped inside their minds.
And once all three men were on the floor screaming, Rika began to slowly slither down her tree towards the first man.
Slithering closer, Rika began to unhinge her jaw and slowly began to swallow the screaming man whole.
And as Rika slowly swallowed her prey, the man—even though he was trapped within his mind—knew exactly what was happening around him and could do nothing about it.
His screams were slowly drowned out as he continued to move down her gullet and into her stomach, and once she had fully digested the first man, she moved on to the rest.
(Two hours later.)
Once Rika had swallowed the rest of the men, she began to crush them from within to make them more manageable, and once she had finished doing so, she returned to her tree.
After such a large meal, Rika wanted nothing more than to sleep and relax.
But after only a few minutes of rest, Miss Higure Fushiguro had returned after buying some groceries from the supermarket.
"Rika! Did you make a mess again?" Miss Fushiguro pouted before setting aside her slippers, walking into the house, and storing the groceries.
"You know, for a lazy snake, you really get around when we're not looking," Miss Fushiguro said before she began cleaning the room of the mess, effectively cleaning the crime scene of any evidence.
Once she finished cleaning up, Higure walked back to the groceries, grabbed a tiny All Might hair band from them, and put it on Rika.
"Now, I know you're sleepy, but you need to be supportive to Toji. He'll be pretty tired after the exam, so when he gets here, you better support him, okay!" Higure Fushiguro said to the sleeping snake.
And Rika… just continued to sleep.
