I was currently on my way home since I had finished the entrance exam. I was walking back home alone, since Mezo-kun got picked up by his parents.
They explained that they wanted to celebrate with Mezo-kun as a family, and whether he gets accepted or not, they should celebrate.
Mezo-kun invited me to join them, but I politely declined, explaining that Mother told me to get home as fast as possible.
Mezo-kun didn't pry any further into why Mother wanted me home early and simply gave his farewell, wishing me a safe trip.
Giving my farewell to Mezo-kun as well, we parted ways for now and would message each other if we got accepted or not.
Back to where I was currently, walking back home, I decided to take the usual route Mezo-kun and I would normally take since it was the quickest way back.
It mostly had a bunch of abandoned buildings, former restaurants, and homes, but it slowly became less and less inhabited due to the crime rate back then.
Criminals used to stalk the people living here. Extortion and murder were rather common back then.
But thanks to All Might and what he represented, the heroes were able to push back and put those criminals behind bars.
But when they finally placed them behind bars, the people had already decided to leave and start somewhere new, causing the community here to be abandoned and simply forgotten.
Mezo-kun and I would occasionally encounter random thugs, and whenever they would approach us intending to either harm or rob us, I would simply grab their arm, restraining them, while Mezo-kun called the police to arrest them.
Thankfully, though, there didn't seem to be any criminals or junkies around the usual route, so it was smooth sailing from here.
As I continued to walk, the phone in my bag began to ring. Grabbing it, I looked to see who was calling and saw Mother.
Answering it, I spoke.
"What is it, Mother?" I asked.
"Hey baby! I'm just calling to see if you're doing alright."
"I'm doing fine, Mother. I'm on my way home right now."
"Wonderful! Well, do take your time. I've got a special surprise waiting for you here, so don't go rushing into danger while you're out there, future hero!" Mother said before closing the call.
I wonder what Mother's special gift will be?
Placing the phone back into my bag, I continued my walk back home without much interruption.
But that didn't last, as not long after, a sudden scream came from one of the alleys.
The scream was rather masculine, and looking in the direction it came from, it wasn't that far.
Seeing as though no one was around and the man was most likely getting murdered, I started running toward the screams.
The alley was rather small, so I couldn't really fit, but that wasn't going to stop me.
Continuing my stride, my body collided with the walls of the abandoned buildings, and going through them, I left a rather sizable hole in my shape.
As I continued to run, the screams became louder and louder until I finally reached the man who was getting… sucked?
He was currently on the floor screaming, with a small girl on top of him, sucking on his neck like a vampire. The man, still very much alive, saw me and pleaded.
"Hey! Help me and get this crazy bitch off me!" the man screamed as the girl continued to suck him dry.
Moving closer to him, I grabbed the girl's shirt and lifted her up, releasing the man from her. Seeing his chance to escape, the man quickly ran away, and when he did, I noticed he had his pants down for some reason.
Looking at the girl, she had blood all over her mouth and was looking at me with puppy dog eyes.
"Why were you sucking that man's blood?" I asked the girl, and she spoke.
"Well, I was walking around until that nice man approached me and asked if I wanted to suck anything today! He offered himself and… there! Now you're all caught up!" the bloody girl said.
"Question, how old are you?" I asked the girl.
"Well, I'm 14 this year!" she said, smiling and giving me the peace sign with her bloody face.
Oh my god, I just helped a pedophile escape.
Placing the girl back down, I looked down at her and spoke.
"You really shouldn't be going to places like these. What if the guy wanted to do something much worse?" I scolded the girl.
"Why? You're here, aren't you? Shouldn't you be following your own advice?" she said with a smug smirk.
"That's different. I can actually defend myself. Anyway, why are you even here? You should probably go back home. Your parents are probably worried sick," I told the girl.
Once I mentioned her parents, her smile quickly faded, and she began looking away.
"They… they're not around anymore," she said.
"I'm… sorry. Look, if you don't mind, I'll take you to the nearest police station. Maybe they can—" I was cut off when she grabbed my arm.
"No, please! Don't take me there! I don't wanna go back to the hospital! I promise I'll be a good girl! Just please don't… don't," she said before passing out.
Grabbing her before she fell to the floor, I lifted her up and began carrying her out of this disgusting alley.
Man… what am I supposed to do now? She obviously doesn't want to go to the police station, let alone a hospital.
Pondering what to do next, I simply carried her with me back home.
Mother's gonna kill me.

I was currently setting up the table with different meals for Toji, since he got accepted into UA!
How do I know, you ask? Simple!
The mail just arrived, informing me that my son had just been accepted—and the best part? He passed with flying colors!
Once I had finished setting up the table, I walked toward the living room to pick up the sleeping Rika.
Going toward the tree she was sleeping in, I carefully picked her up and placed her around my neck.
She has gotten much bigger as of late. What has Toji been feeding her?
I was just about to walk back to the dining room when I heard someone knocking on the door.
It must be my baby boy!
Walking with Rika toward the door, I opened it to greet him—but what I saw shocked me to my very core.
My son… was holding a girl in his arms.
