Chapter 13 - Entrance exam pt3.

Once the doors finally opened, the candidates began running inside in search of the different villains to collect points, and not wanting to be left behind, I quickly ran inside in search of villains.

It didn't take long for me to find the intended targets, as almost immediately multiple robots began appearing with giant numbers plastered on their chests.

Robots, huh. Well, this makes things easier for me.

Charging towards one of them that had 2 points, I raised my right arm and curled my fingers to form a fist, and once I was close enough, I struck the machine in the chest.

And with a loud booming sound, the machine's entire torso exploded from the impact.

Its legs, no longer connected to anything, quickly fell to the ground, leaving me a bit shocked at just how weak the robots were.

They looked pretty sturdy when I first saw them, but punching one now, it almost felt like punching wet tissue paper.

I was hoping they'd be more of a challenge, but I can't really complain much. This is just a test after all—can't have students dying now.

Looking ahead of me, multiple machines began to appear in droves. If I was anyone else right now, I would probably run away and find a way to destroy them without getting overwhelmed.

But right now, in this moment, I wanted to do something… reckless. And with a smile on my face, I got into a running stance directly aimed at the machines, and with one quick motion, I ran.

Running towards the machines with a smile on my face, I jumped high into the air, and looking down, I saw one of the machines directly below me.

Falling directly towards the machine, I used my right foot and aimed directly at its face.

Once both had connected, the machine's head was forcefully pushed down towards the ground, my foot planting it into the road and leaving a moderately sized crater.

Pulling my foot out of the ground, I grabbed the lifeless body of the machine and began my charge once more.

The machines now charging as well made it all too easy for me to destroy them.

Using the body of the one-pointer, I simply used its body almost like a hammer, crushing them one by one.

And as they continued to charge at me and try their best to bring me down, I continued the assault by grabbing the fallen body parts of the machines and smacking their bodies with them.

After a while of doing this, I got a bit bored and simply dropped the body part I was using, then continued to charge at them once more.

Raising my arms wide, I used my body like a battering ram and began running over the machines with my pure bulk, using my speed to quite easily destroy them.

This was really fun. I never really enjoyed hurting people, but since they're just robots, I didn't have to feel bad.

Grabbing one of the fallen machines off the ground, I began crushing it into a condensed metal ball.

Looking at the rest of the machines, my smile widened a bit before I threw the ball with enough speed to break the sound barrier, causing the surrounding windows to shatter from the air pressure.

And with the speed it was going, it shot right through the machine, leaving a glowing circle of molten metal behind.

Man, this is fun! I can't believe I was this strong! Granted, I only ever did muscle training and never really harmed anyone in fear of them dying.

But with this test, I could finally go all out without hurting anyone.

Looking back at the swarming machines, I got myself ready once more to destroy more of them to get more points.

But as I was about to charge, the machines began to quickly run away from me and out of sight.

Strange. They weren't doing that before. Maybe they're programmed to retreat if a lot of them get destroyed.

But as I thought of why they began to flee, the ground beneath me began to shake, and a looming shadow appeared.

Looking ahead of me, a giant machine with the number 0 plastered on its body appeared and looked at me.

I looked back behind me to see if there were any other candidates, and thankfully, there were none.

Turning back to the giant machine, I smiled and relished the thought of beating it alone. Sure, this thing most likely gave no points since it was most likely the zero-pointer the instructor had informed us about.

But right now, I didn't care if it gave me points. All I wanted to do right now was see how hard I could hit it.

(Staff watching.)

"These are some rather promising candidates we have this year," one of the heroes said.

"Yes, they have some rather powerful quirks. Let's just hope they're as smart as they are strong," another hero replied.

But among the heroes watching the candidates was a rather skeleton-looking man who everyone else knew as… All Might.

He was currently powered down and watching his successor, Izuku Midoriya, try and fail to get points by his lonesome.

All Might was internally panicking. Sure, he knew the boy had the heart of a true hero, but if he didn't pass this test, he wouldn't be able to get into the hero course.

And worst of all, Principal Nezu had just released multiple zero-pointers around the training grounds to disrupt the candidates.

Once the zero-pointers had appeared, many of the candidates began to run and tried their best to get away from the giant robots, since they didn't give points anyway and were way too big to deal with.

As All Might continued to watch the screen of young Midoriya on the floor, trying to get up and run away, he noticed the boy staring at something before he quickly got up and jumped high into the air toward the giant robot.

Midoriya, though inexperienced and still not used to his quirk, gritted his teeth and clenched his buttocks, charging his fist with the power of One For All, and delivered a powerful punch directly at the robot's head.

"Smash!" Izuku yelled, destroying the robot with a single blow.

All Might visibly pumped his arms, feeling proud of his successor, but that feeling quickly changed to dread as he noticed young Midoriya falling rapidly toward the ground.

Despite destroying the robot, Midoriya had also destroyed both his legs and his right arm, as his body was still not ready to handle the full power of One For All.

All Might nearly stood up, worried for the young man, but as Midoriya was falling, a brown-haired girl slapped him in the face, slowing his fall and removing his gravity, saving him.

All Might sighed in relief that his successor survived, then looked around a bit since the test was about to conclude, and it would be unbecoming of a future teacher to simply favor a single individual.

That was when his eyes landed on a singular screen where a white figure sat upon piles of machines, looking a bit bored.

As All Might looked a bit closer, he immediately recognized that the candidate sitting atop the pile was none other than Toji Fushiguro.

Even though he hadn't visited the Fushiguro family for years, he distinctly remembered the floating wheel above the boy's head when they had first met.

And upon closer inspection, the piles of robots he was sitting on weren't just normal robots—some were even multiple zero-pointers.

All Might's face was one of pure shock. This even caused some of the other heroes to look where All Might was staring, and with the same shocked expressions, they stared at the monitor.

"Woah… that kid's intense. Wait, could you zoom in on his face?" one hero asked one of the people manning the computer.

Once it zoomed in, they immediately saw a rather unsettling smile coming from the candidate.

"Man, that's really creepy… are we sure that's a hero?" the hero said jokingly.

Greetings, children. God here.

I would like to inform you that from now on, I will be narrating the parts that aren't the characters' perspectives.

Why am I here? Simple.

The author isn't updating The Knight of Hell as much, so I got a bit bored and moved stories.

Don't mind me—I'll still be narrating my grandson's story. Until then, have a wonderful day!
